Parathyroid carcinoma is a rare maligant tumor.The main clinical symptoms are primary hyperparathyroidism and all kinds of metabolism disorder and the damage of homologous tissues and organs.The consummate laboratory examination and the accurate imaging localization and the credible histopathologic feature are key points to diagnosis of parathyroid carcinoma.Parathyroid carcinoma is unsensitive to chemotherapy and radiotherapy,and en bloc resection of the carcinoma is the preferred treatment approach.AntiPTH immunization as a new treatment of parathyroid carcinoma has been paid close attention.The prognosis of parathyroid carcinoma is mainly depended on whether the tumor was cut off completely and the control as well as the monitor of the symptomatic hypercalcemian after operation.This article reviews the latest researches and introduces the latest advancement in the diagnosis and treatment of parathyroid carcinoma.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of transrectal ultrasound guided systematic 13 cores prostate biopsy. Methods A total of 160 patients referred for abnormal digital rectal examination and (or) prostate specific antigen 4ng/ml or greater underwent transrectal ultrasound guided systematic 13 cores prostate biopsy.That was,in addition to the standard sextant biopsies,cores were taken from the far lateral and middle regions of the gland as described by Eskew.Pathological findings of the additional regions were compared with those of the sextant regions. Objective After the rabbits were electrocuted by 220V AC,we found that the pathological changes in the surface of the bones electrocuted could be one objective and quantitative index for the diagnosis of electrocution in the forensic pathology.Methods The experiment animals were divided into four groups,including: the antemortem electrical injury,postmortem electrical injury,putrefied and the normal.After specimens from each group being taken X ray examination,all specimens were then observed the morphological appearance of the surface of the bones with scanning electron microscopy(SEM),meanwhile,detected the kinds and contents of element in the electrical injury area with energy spectrum.Results①small holes on the surface of electrified area and the detection of contents of the elements in the high-density surrounding the holes could be a index for the diagnosis of AC injury and able to differentiate of the antemortem electrical injury,the postmortem electrical injury and the putrefied bones.②the morphologic changes of small holes and the alteration of the contents of elements such as calcium,phosphorus and carbon could be helpful to estimate the time of electrical injury.Conclusion The morphological appearances and the changes of elements in the surface of the bones electrocuted could be a useful index to analyse the differences among the antemortem electrical injury,postmortem electrical injury,putrefied and the normal bones.

Objective To study the effects of PTEN and missense mutations in PTEN phosphotase domain on AKT phosphorylation in AGS and BGC-823 cells. Methods The plasmids of wtPTEN,PTEN-C124S which PTEN mutant is in both lipid and protein phosphotase domain and PTEN-G129E which PTEN mutant is only in lipid phosphotase domain were respectively transfected into AGS and BGC-823 cells. The cells were stimulated with insulin or rhEGF after serum starvation overnight. The levels of AKT phosphorylation were detected by Western blot. Results Both insulin and rhEGF can activate AKT phosphorylation in gastric cancer cells. Overexpressed PTEN inhibitedAKT phosphorylation induced by insulin or rhEGF(P < 0.05). PTEN mutants C124S or G129E could not inhibitAKT phosphorylation(P > 0.05). Conclusions PTEN can inhibit AKT phosphorylation induced by insulin or rhEGF in gastric cancer cells. Missense mutations in the 124th or 129th amino acid of PTEN phospho-tase domain do not exert inhibitive function.

Objective To investigate the clinical features and treatment of Kaposi's varicelliform eruption. Methods Clinical data on 24 cases of Kaposi's varicelliform eruption were retrospectively analyzed.Results All the 24 patients were accompanied by different underlying skin diseases, including eczema in 17 cases and atopic dermatitis in 7 cases. PCR of vesicle fluid was positive for herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV 1 ) in 16 (66.67%) patients, and culture of vesicle fluid or lesional exudates grew Staphylococcus aureus in 12 (50%) patients. Conclusion Infants with atopic dermatitis or eczema are rather susceptible to Kaposi's varicelliform eruption, which may be partly caused by herpes simplex virus infection.

OBJECTIVE:To study the therapeutic efficacy of Yixinkangtai capsules(YXKT)on climacteric syndrome in males.METHODS:360cases of male climacteric syndrome randomly divided into2groups:trial group(220cases)was treated with YXKT for3wks and control group(140cases)received placebo.RESULTS:In the trial group,the rate of symptomatic improvement was74.3%.Before and after3-week treatment,blood testosterone levels were(131.51?19.12)mg/L and(253.78?21.45)mg/L;SOD levels were(1068?121.4)IU/(g?Hb)and(1178.1?132.6)IU/(g?Hb),MDA levels were(7.6?0.8)?mol/L and(5.8?0.6)?mol/L respectively,and depression score was improved as well.There were significant dif?ferences in all above-mentioned parameters between2groups.CONCLUSION:YXKT is effective and safe for treating cli?macteric syndrome in males.

Objective To explore optimized procedures and science decision-making methods for the triage in sanitary train and improve efficiency. Methods The work condition of triage was evaluated with queuing theory and mathematical models. Results The work of triage needs to be further optimized. The M/M/n model of queuing theory can improve efficiency, and then waiting-time that from triage site to specifically sickbed can be shorten consumedly. Conclusion The application and assistance decision on queuing theory in the triage can optimize organization plan and enhance work efficiency.

Abstract: Objective　To investigate the expression level and clinical significance of serum liver fibrosis-associated lncRNA1 (lnc-LFAR1) in patients with chronic hepatitis B cirrhosis, aiming to analyze its correlation with interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), and liver function. Methods　Patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) cirrhosis and CHB diagnosed and treated in Dongguan City People's Hospital from March 2016 to December 2019 were selected and divided into the liver cirrhosis group (n=80) and the CHB group (n=80), and 80 healthy people with physical examination during the same period were selected as healthy group. The serum levels of lnc-LFAR1, interleukin-6 (IL-6), albumin (ALB), interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and liver function indicators, including albumin (ALB) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) were measured and analyzed. The correlation between serum lnc-LFAR1 expression level and IL-6, IL-1β was assessed, and the levels of lnc-LFAR1, IL-6, IL-1β, ALB and ALT were compared among patients with CHB cirrhosis of different Child-Pugh grades. Results The serum levels of lnc-LFAR1, IL-6, IL-1β and ALT in the patients with liver cirrhosis [(1.85± 0.62), (41.76±13.92) ng/mL, (7.78±1.95) pg/mL, (148.37±29.67) U/L] were higher than those in the CHB group [(1.42±0.47), (23.56± 7.85) ng/mL, (5.42±1.41) pg/mL, (87.59±17.52) U/L] and the healthy group [(1.01±0.34), (6.70±2.23) ng/mL, (3.13± 0.78) pg/mL, (15.44±3.10) U/L] (P<0.05), while the ALB levels (30.54±3.82) g/L were lower than those in the CHB group (37.27±4.34) g/L and the healthy group (45.26±5.66) g/L (P<0.05). Serum lnc-LFAR1, IL-6, IL-1β and ALT levels in the CHB group were higher than those in the healthy group (P<0.05), and ALB levels were lower than those in the healthy group (P<0.05); the serum levels of lnc-LFAR1, IL-6, IL-1β in patients with CHB cirrhosis were negatively correlated with ALB (P<0.05), and positively correlated with ALT (P<0.05); the serum expression level of lnc-LFAR1 in patients with CHB cirrhosis was positively correlated with IL-6 and IL-1β (r=0.598, 0.571, P<0.05); with the increase of Child-Pugh grade, the serum levels of lnc-LFAR1, IL-6, IL-1β, and ALT in patients with CHB cirrhosis gradually increased (P<0.05), and the level of ALB gradually decreased (P<0.05). Conclusions Serum lnc-LFAR1 expression level is higher in patients with CHB cirrhosis, which is obviously related to IL-6, IL-1β, ALB and ALT. Therefore, the evaluation of serum lnc-LFAR1 expression level is helpful in the clinical assessment of the condition of CHB cirrhosis patients.

Objective To determine the diagnostic significance of detecting the specific epithelial keratin CK 20 mRNA in peripheral venous blood from patients with bladder carcinomas. Methods Reverse transcription coupled with two step polymerase chain reaction (nested RT PCR) was used to detect CK 20 mRNA expression in the peripheral blood from patients with bladder carcinomas. Results Detection of CK 20 mRNA expression was positive in 37 of 91 patients with bladder carcinoma (41%).Among 20 patients with distant metastasis,17 were positive (85%).CK 20 mRNA was not detectable in the blood samples from 25 normal individuals.The frequency of positive CK 20 mRNA expression was signficantly higher in those with distant metastasis. Conclusions The presence of CK 20 mRNA expression in peripheral blood may be used as an early indicator of hematogenous metastasis of bladder carcinoma cells.
