Objective To analysis the relationship between blood homocysteine concentration in diabetic retinopathy patients with vascular endothelial cell damage and platelet activation.Methods 80 type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)patients,including 50 no diabetic retinopathy(NDR group)and 30 diabetic retinopathy(DR group)and 30 normal controls were selected to measure the concentration of Hcy as well as circulating endothelial cells(CEC),Endothelin(ET),Yon Willebrand(vWF)and platelet activation markers CD62p and CD63.Results The level of CEC,ET,vWF,CD62p,CD63 and Hcy in T2DM group were,distinctly higher than those of control(P＜0.01),furthermore,the level of these markers in DR group were also higher than that in NDR group(P＜0.01).Blood CEC level Was positively related with ET(r=0.839,P＜0.05),and the same relationship was found in Hcy and CEC(r=0.615,P＜0.05),ET(r=0.642,P＜0.05),CD62p(r=0.623,P＜0.05)and CD63(r=0.542,P＜0.05).Conclusions High blood Hcy,CEC,ET,vWF,CD62p and CD63 level were tighdy related with DR.High level of Hcy,vascular endMermis cell damage and platelet activation maybe play an important role in the pathogenesis of DR.

Objective To explore the effect of operative treatment of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage.Methods 386 cases with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage were retrospectively analysed,hematoma was removed through big bone flap and small skull window,or drainage and urokinase infusion with small hole puncture.Results 39 cases died(10.1%),according to ADI grade system:Ⅰ 106 cases(27.4%),Ⅱ 136 cases(35.2%),Ⅲ 50 cases(13%),Ⅳ 43 cases(11.1%),Ⅴ 12 cases(3.2%).Conclusion To increase the cure rate and life quality,and obtain a lower mortality,it is a key to do surgical operation such as microsurgery or drainage and urokinase infusion.

[Objective] To observe the influence of Modified Qianjin Weijing Decoction (MQWD) on airway clearance in patients with acutely exacerbated chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) , which was differentiated as the syndrome of phlegm-heat congesting lung. [Methods] A prospective control trial was carried out in 60 AECOPD patients with phlegm-heat congesting lung. The patients were equally randomized into two groups: the treatment group (group A) was treated with MQWD and routine western medicine, and the control group (group B) with routine western medicine only. The therapeutic effect, indexes of lung function including FEV1 (forced expiratory volume in one second), FVC (forced vital capacity), FEV1/FVC, Zrs (total respiratory impedance) and R5 (total airway resistance), and in particular, the airway clearance rate (Ct) were observed and compared in the two groups. [Results] In the treatment group, the markedly effective rate was 70.00 % , higher than that (23.33 % ) in the control group ( P 0.05) but Ct in 60-minute and 90-minute treatment was much improved in the treatment group than that in the control group (P

Objective: To investigate the protective effect of shenduqing Granules on chronic renal insufficiency in rats. Methods: The rat model of chronic renal insufficiency was made by feeding 0.75% adenine forage. The blood biochemical indexes, ion concentration in serum of rat was measured and the pathological changes of rat kidney were observed. Results: Shenduqing Granules obviously increased thymus index (TI). The weight of rat kidney in the treatment group was lighter than that of the model group. The kidney histomorphological study showed that Shenduqing Granules obvionsly reduce the pathological changes. The drug crystals were also reduced. Conclusion: Shenduqing Granules has the potential protection against chronic renal insufficiency in rats.

Objective To investigate the alteration of NKT cells number in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and its correlation with SLE disease activity.Methods Blood samples were obtained from 30 patients with SLE and 30 healthy control subiects.The number of NKT cells from peripherial blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) were detect by flow cytometry (FCM).Two independent samples t-test and Pearson correlation was used to evaluated the relationship between SLE disease activity and NKT cells.Results Compared with healthy controls [(4.16±0.22)%],lower number of NKT cells were found in SLE group[(2.53±0.33)%](P<0.05).An inverse correlation was observed between the frequency of NKT cells and IgG,anti-dsDNA,SLE disease activity index.Conclusion Reduced proportions of NKT cells observed in patients with SLE and is associated with high SLE disease activity.

Objective To explore optimized procedures and science decision-making methods for the triage in sanitary train and improve efficiency. Methods The work condition of triage was evaluated with queuing theory and mathematical models. Results The work of triage needs to be further optimized. The M/M/n model of queuing theory can improve efficiency, and then waiting-time that from triage site to specifically sickbed can be shorten consumedly. Conclusion The application and assistance decision on queuing theory in the triage can optimize organization plan and enhance work efficiency.

Objective To evaluate the effect of sevoflurane pretreatment on the inflammatory response during renal ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) in rats.Methods Thirty pathogen-free male Sprague-Dawley rats,aged 12-14 weeks,weighing 220-260 g,were randomized into 3 groups (n =10 each) using a random number table:sham operation group (group S),I/R group and sevoflurane pretreatment group (group SP).Renal I/R was induced by clamping the left renal pedicle for 45 min followed by reperfusion in I/R and SP groups.In group S inhalation of 3％ sevoflurane in O2 was started at 30 min before I/R and maintained throughout the experiment.Venous blood samples were taken at 3 h of reperfusion for determination of serum blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine (Cr) concentrations.The animals were then sacrificed and the left kidneys were removed for microscopic examination and for measurement of the content of tumor necrosis factor-apha (TNF-α),interleukin-6 (IL-6) and intercellular cell adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) in renal tissues (by ELISA).Results Compared with group S,the serum BUN and Cr concentrations,severity of necrosis of renal proximal convoluted tubules (0 =normal,4 =necrosis of whole segment of proximal convoluted tubules),and contents of TNF-α,IL-6 and ICAM-1 were significantly increased in I/R and SP groups (P ＜ 0.05).Compared with group I/R,the serum BUN and Cr concentrations,severity of necrosis of renal proximal convoluted tubules,and contents of TNF-α,IL-6 and ICAM-1 were significantly decreased in SP group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Sevoflurane pretreatment can protect kidney against I/R injury by inhibiting the inflammatory responses in the renal tissues of rats.

Objective To optimize the enamel electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectral processing by using the EPR spectral simulation method to improve the accuracy of enamel EPR dosimetry and reduce artificial error.Methods The multi-component superimposed EPR powder spectral simulation software was developed to simulate EPR spectrum models of the background signal(BS) and the radiation- induced signal (RS) of irradiated enamel respectively.RS was extracted from the multi-component superimposed spectrum of irradiated enamel and its amplitude was calculated.The dose-response curve was then established for calculating the doses of a group of enamel samples.The result of estimated dose was compared with that calculated by traditional method.Results BS was simulated as a powder spectrum of gaussian line shape with the following spectrum parameters:g =2.00 35 and Hpp =0.65 - 1.1 mT,RS signal was also simulated as a powder spectrum but with axi-symmetric spectrum characteristics.The spectrum parameters of RS were:g(1) =2.0018,g (11) =1.996 5,Hpp =0.335 - 0.4 mT.The amplitude of RS had a linear response to radiation dose with the regression equation as y =240.74x + 76 724 ( R2 =0.9947 ).The expectation of relative error of dose estimation was 0.13.Conclusions EPR simulation method has improved somehow the accuracy and reliability of enamel EPR dose estimation.

In group S inhalation of 2.2% sevoflurane in O2 was started at 30 min before operation and maintained throughout the experiment.Venous blood samples were taken at 3 h of reperfusion for determination of serum BUN and Cr concentrations. The animals were then sacrificed and the left kidneys were removed for microscopic examination, detection of apoptosis(by TUNEL)and determination of heme oxygenase-1(HO-1) mRNA and protein expression (by RT-PCR and Western blot).Results Renal I/R significantly increased serum BUN and Cr concentrations, apoptotic index(percentage of apoptotic cells) and the severity of necrosis of renal proximal convoluted tubules (0=normal,4=necrosis of whole segment of proximal convoluted tubules).Sevoflurane inhalation attenuated the I/R-induced changes mentioned above.HO-1 mRNA and protein expression was up-regulated by I/R and HO-1 mRNA expression was further up-regulated by sevoflurane inhalation.Conclusion Sevoflurane pretreatment can protect kidney against I/R injury by attenuating cell apoptosis.Up-regulation of HO-1 mRNA expression may be involved in the mechanism.
