Objective To observe and evaluate the clinical effect of Dentium planting system by once procedure. Methods A total of 45 patients who had 55 Dentium implants implanted were followed up for one year. Permanent restorations were finished 12 weeks after once procedure.Clinical effects were evaluated through clinical and imaging examination. Results Through the 55 Dentium implants of 45 patients, the success rate was 100%.All patients were satisfied with aesthetics and occlusal function. Conclusion Dentium implant completed by once procedure is safe and reliable with once procedure on clinical application. Both the survival rate and successful rate of implants were 100%.High degree of satisfaction from patients was achieved. Both bone tissue and soft tissue are well preserved. This system can obviously reduce bone resorption and improve aesthetic effect.

Objective It describes procedures for designing an analyzing a method comparison experiment for serum albumin(ALB) assay and determining the relative bias between two methods using split patient samples.Method According to the procedure described by the NCCL approved guideline: method comparison and bias estimation using patient samples; 40 patient samples were analyzed in 5 operating days, analyze each patient sample in duplicate using both BCG and BCP method. The duplicates were assessed for each method within the same run. The coefficient of correlation was calculated as well as the bia between the methods. Results In the patient′s serum sample, the bias between BCG and BCP methods were 1.8% at 50g/L or 5.5% at 40 g/L or 11.6% at 30 g/L for albumin. In the commercial quality control serum products, the bias between the two methods varied up to 36%.Conclusion In determination of the patient′s ALB, the bias between BCG and BCP goes up when the concentration of ALB is decreased. But the bias between the two methods varies up to 36% when the quality control serum is determined.

Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the radiation dose caused by 18 F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) in PET/CT examination and to optimize the concerned radiation protection. Methods Thirty patients from our conventional PET/CT examination were simple randomly selected, and they all underwent whole body PET/CT imaging. The radioactive dose of injected 18F-FDG was recorded. The internal radiation dose was calculated and the external radiation dose from patients was measured with the 451P-DE-SI ion chamber survey meter. The staff's dose was recorded with thermoluminescent detector (TLD). All dosimetry data were processed and analyzed statistically with Excel 2003. Results The injected radioactive dose of 18F-FDG was (432.9±51.8) MBq, and effective dose equivalent received per patient was (8.23±0.99) roSy. The correlation coefficient (r) of the dose equivalent rate and distance was-0.994 by power function curve fitting, and that of dose equivalent rate and time was - 0.988 by exponential curve fitting. The staff's dose was lower than the annual dose limit. Conclusions The patient's internal radiation dose caused by 18F-FDG in PET/CT examination is low, nonetheless, the clinician should always consider optimizing and minimizing the necessary radiation received by the patients. The patients having been injected with 18F-FDG should stay in one place to decrease their radiation to the public. From the medical point of view in optimizing radiation exposure, there may still be a potential to lower the injected 18F-FDG activity.

Objective To investigate the optimal condition for transforming alkanna tinctoria pigment into shikonin. Methods Transformation rate of shikonin served as index. Transformation temperature, time, ratio of 2% NaOH to alkanna tinctoria pigment (v/w) was optimized. Results With ratio of 2% NaOH to alkanna tinctoria pigment being 4.5 mL·mg-1, temperature 35℃ and the reaction time 4 h, the transformation rate reached the highest, and the average transformation rate was 64.86%. Conclusion This method is easy and simple, and suitable for industrialized production.

Objective To study the application of the combined detection of Golgi glycoprotein 73(GP-73),phosphatidylinositol proteoglycan 3(GPC3 )and percentage of AFP heteroplasmon(AFP-L3%)in the diagnosis of primary hepatocellular carcinoma (PHC).Methods The concentrations of GP-73,GPC3 and AFP-L3 were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) in 154 patients with PHC(PHC group),78 patients with cirrhosis(cirrhosis group)and 56 healthy subjects(control group). Then the detection results were statistically analyzed. Results The levels of GP-73,GPC3 and AFP-L3% in the PHC group were signifi-cantly higher than those in the liver cirrhosis group and the control group(P <0.05).The positive rates of GP-73,GPC3 and AFP-L3% in the PHC group were 66.2%,72.1% and 53.2% respectively. The positive rate in the combined detection of these three in-dices could reach 97.9%,which was higher than the sensitivity and accuracy in any single index detection and the combination de-tection.In the PHC group, the comparison between different levels of GP-73 and AFP-L3% with the AFP levels showed the statis-tically significant difference(P <0.05 ).Conclusion The combination detection of GP-73,GPC3 and AFP-L3% can improve the sensitivity and accuracy for diagnosing PHC and has reference significance in the differential diagnosis of early PHC.

Orexin is a new neuropeptide related to diet intake and regulation of endocrine and metabolic functions. Rat model with insulin resistance (IR) was induced by high fructose diet and the extent of IR was assayed by hyperinsulinemic euglycemic clamp technique. The results showed that high fructose diet might induce IR and results in disturbance between orexin and leptin. Blood glucose, serum insulin, lipid metabolism and leptin may participate in the regulation of orexin.

Objective To investigate the MRI signs of discoid meniscus and to establish the criterion of MRI diagnosis. Methods 40 cases of discoid meniscus were analysed retrospectively. The methods of measurement and the classification of discoid meniscus were studied. Besides, the injurious criterion of diagnosis were discussed. Results All of 40 cases were lateral discoid meniscus. 24 cases were classified as slab type and 16 cases wedge type. 38 cases developed in different degree of meniscal injury. The rate of injury was 95%. Conclusion MRI examination is principal in diagnosis of discoid meniscus. Proportion of transverse diameter of the midbody of meniscus to the transverse width of the tibia exceeded 40%, which is necessary to diagnose discoid meniscus.
