OBJECTIVETo compare the effect of combined therapy of Zhenqi Zhuanyin Decoction (ZQZYD) and timely intrauterine insemination (IUI) with that of using ZQZYD and IUI separately in treating patients of sterility with positive anti-sperm antibody (AsAb).
METHODSOne hundred and three patients were randomly divided into 3 groups, 34 patients in Group A treated with combined ZQZYD and IUI, 34 in Group B treated with ZQZYD alone and 35 in Group C treated with IUI alone. The negative conversion rate of AsAb, pregnancy rate in patients, pregnancy rate in AsAb converted patients, as well as changes of TCM Syndrome and T-lymphocyte subsets were observed.
RESULTS(1) The negative conversion rate of AsAb in the 3 groups was 76.47% (26/34), 82.35% (28/34) and 8.57% (3/35) respectively. (2) In Group A, the pregnancy rate was 41.18% (14/34), pregnancy rate in AsAb negative converted patients was 50.0% (13/26); in Group B, the respective criteria was 20.59% (7/34) and 21.43% (6/28) respectively; and in Group C, the pregnancy rate was 11.43% (4/35). The pregnancy rate in Group A was significantly higher than that in Group B or C (P < 0.01). (3) The effective rate on TCM Syndrome in Group A and B was 88.23% and 91.18% respectively (P > 0.05). (4) In Group A and B, CD4 decreased, CD8 increased and CD4/CD8 ratio decreased after treatment, which were significantly different from those before treatment and in Group C after treatment (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONCombined therapy of ZQZYD and IUAI shows a better effect in treating infertility with positive AsAb than that by ZQXYD or IUI alone.

ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical characteristics in ABO-incompatible allogeneic peripheral blood stem cell transplantation(allo-PBSCT).Methods137 patients'clinical courses who accepted allo-PBSCT were retrospectively reviewed. Sixty-five cases of them were ABO-incompatible allo-PBSCT patients, including 32 ABO major mismatched cases,23 ABO minor mismatched cases and 10 ABO major and minor mismatched cases.Seventy-two ABO-identical cases were taken as control group.ResultsCompared with ABO-idential cases, the time of erythrocyte recovery after allo-PBSCT in ABO major and minor mismatched group was delayed [(73.2+10.3) d vs (97.5+10.4) d] (P <0.05).In ABO-incompatible group, the time of blood type switching in different ABO-incompatible types were found no significant difference (P >0.05) [ABO major mismatched:(45.7±17.3) d,ABO minor mismatched:(41.2+16.1) d and ABO major and minor mismatched:(48.4±20.9) d (P > 0.05)].There were 8 cases who have a delayed time of blood type changing, including 6 cases demonstrated recipient-derived anti-A antibody. ConclusionABO-incompatible has no negative effect on allo-PBSCT.The time of erythrocyte reconstitution was delayed in ABO major and minor mismatched group.A delayed time of blood type switching tends to occur in ABO minor incompatible cases and patients who have anti-A antibody initially.

Objective To investigate the values of three-dimensional visualization technology in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of hepatic hemangioma. Methods Thirty two patients with hepatic hemangioma who had been hospitalized during the period from July 2010 to January 2014 in our hospital were scanned by 64-slice spiral computerized tomography (CT) before surgical treatment. Three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction based on the CT data was carried out to achieve dignosis and surgical planning. Assisted with the 3D model , we chose the best surgical procedure for liver resection, protecting the major blood vessels near hemangioma and retaining normal liver tissue as far as possible. Results The location, size and shape of hepatic hemangioma, vascular variation, and spatial relationship with intrahepatic vessel were shown factually by three-dimensional reconstruction. All the hemangiomas were preoperatively assessed to be resectable. The compliance rate for preoperative surgical planning to actual surgery was 100%. Under assistance of the 3D model during surgery , 14 patients received laparoscopic hepatectomy and 18 underwent hepatectomy. Pringle′s maneuver was applied in 18 patients , with blocking time of (15.32 ± 7.12) min and blood loss of (188.63 ± 66.37) mL. The postoperative complications included pleural effusion in 5 patients and incision infection in one patients. Conclusions Three-dimensional visualization technology for the individualized diagnosis and treatment of hepatic hemangioma helps reduce surgical trauma and incidence of postoperative complications.
