Chinese Journal of Interventional Cardiology 2014;(3):146-148
Objective To investigate the effectiveness and safety in pediatric patients (Age≤14 years) with hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM) treated by percutanous transluminal septal myocardial ablation (PTSMA). Methods Retrospectively analyzed the data from four pediatric(age≤14 years) patients with HOCM treated by PTSMA from March 2004 to June 2012, including their clinical data, coronary angiography and the results of PTSMA to evaluate the complication and clinical outcome after PTSMA. Results The left ventricular outlfow tract pressure gradient (LVOTPG) at rest decreased after operation when compared with pre-lablation level (32.0 mm Hg vs 80.0 mm Hg, P>0.05). The LVOTPG after premature beat decreased with signiifcant difference after ablation (40.0 mm Hg vs 122.5 mm Hg, P<0.05). During opration and hospitalization, 1 patient developed right bundle branch block, and another patient developed complete atrioventricular block, Both patients’ arrhythmia received after temporary pacing and medical treatment. No death and major clinical adverse event recorded after operation and during the 12 months follow up. Conclusions PTSMA was effective and safe for children with HOCM.

Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(03):-
ve To develope a new graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrophotometric (GFAAS) method for determination of cobalt in cosmetics. Methods Samples were digested by HNO3-HCl and microwave. The use of a new matrix modifier, (NH4)2 HPO4-ascorbic acid as a matrix, could effectively improve the shape of peak and eliminate the matrix interferences. The best determination conditions, such as the procedure of sample digestion, the measurement parameters were defined in this assay. Results The characteristic concentration, linear range, re-covery rate and coefficient of variation were 1.2?g/L, 0 -40?g/L, 100.16% ~102.01% and 1.82%-3.26% re-spectively. Conclusion Application of matrix modifier (NH4)2 HPO4-ascorbic acid for determination of Co with GFAAS, was easy and presented good repeatibility.
3.Research progresses on the pathophysiology of hemorrhoidal diseases
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2010;26(1):193-196
Various hypotheses have been put forward to explain the pathogenesis of hemorrhoidal diseases. However, the etiology and mechanisms of hemorrhoids are far from clear, and as a consequence the present therapeutic objective is just to relieve or abolish the symptoms of hemorrhoids. In this review, the recent research advances on the pathophysiological characteristics that are closely associated with hemorrhoids are analyzed and discussed, which include constipation, high anal resting pressure, anal mucosa damage, aging of the anal cushion supporting tissue, blood and vessel alterations, obstruction of microcirculation and biochemical changes.

7.Change of Angiopoietin-1 in the Peripheral Blood of Patients with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and Its Relationship with Prognosis
Acta Medicinae Universitatis Scientiae et Technologiae Huazhong 2015;(6):705-709
Objective To investigate the change of angiopoietin‐1(Ang‐1)in the peripheral blood of patients with acute re‐spiratory distress syndrome and its relationship with prognosis. Methods A total of 85 hospitalized patients with ARDS were recruited and divided into mild group(n=25) ,moderate group(n=36)and severe group(n=24)according to the oxidation states of patients.Another 40 hospitalized patients without ARDS were included as the control group. The basic clinical data of all pa‐tients were obtained. The expressions of Ang‐1 and Tie2 in the peripheral blood were detected by RT‐PCR.The correlation be‐tween the different variables was analyzed by using Pearson correlation analysis. All patients were divided into survival group(n=47)and death group(n=38)according to the deaths of patients after 28 days. The relevant factors for prognostic of patients with ARDS were analyzed by using multivariate Logistic regression analysis. The effectiveness of Ang‐1 in predicting ARDS was analyzed by using ROC curves. Results In ARDS patients relative to the control patients ,PaO2/FiO2 was decreased ,A‐PACHEⅡ score ,LIS score ,SOFA score ,C‐reactive protein(CRP) ,IL‐6 ,and mortality rates were increased ,and the relative ex‐pressions of Ang‐1 mRNA and Tie2 mRNA in the peripheral blood were decreased ,with the differences being statistically sig‐nificant(P<0.05).The relative expressions of Ang‐1 mRNA and Tie2 mRNA in the peripheral blood in severe group were much lower than in the mild group and moderate group ,those in the moderate group were lower than in the mild group ,and there were significant differences(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that the expressions of Ang‐1 and Tie2 in the peripheral blood of patients with ARDS were positively correlated with PaO2/FiO2 (P<0.05) ,but were negatively correlated with APACHE Ⅱ score ,LIS score ,SOFA score ,CRP and IL‐6 levels(P< 0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that PaO2/FiO2 and APACHEⅡ score were independent risk factors for the mortality in patients with ARDS(P<0.05) ,while the relative expressions of Ang‐1 mRNA and Tie2 mRNA were protective factors for the mortality in patients with ARDS(P>0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that when the relative expression of Ang‐1 mRNA was used for the diagnosis of ARDS ,the area under the curve was 0.874(95% CI:0.809-0.938) ,the sensitivity was 72.5% ,and the specificity was 85.9% . Conclusion Down‐expression of Ang‐1 in the peripheral blood of patients with ARDS is closely related with the severity of the patient’s condition. It may accelerate the endothelial cell damage and increase the vascular permeability by reducing the binding to Tie2.It may be used as a prognostic indicator for patients with ARDS.

Chinese Journal of Neurology 2000;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the pathogenesis in hemifacial spasm by establishing animal models of hemifacial spasm and combining with electrophysiological technique. Methods 28 New Zealand white rabbits were randomized into four groups: 13 rabbits underwent both artificial demylination and arterial compression (model group). 5 rabbits underwent only arterial compression, 5 rabbits underwent only artificial demyelination and 5 rabbits underwent sham operation control. Abnormal muscle response (AMR) and F wave changes in all groups were tested and compared at the third or sixth week after operation respectively. Results No AMR was recorded in all four groups at the third week after operation, while a clear AMR was elicited in ten animals in model group rather than in the other groups at the sixth week of postoperation. F/M amplitude ratio, the F wave duration and frequency of F wave appearance in model animals significantly increased as compared with those of the other groups ( P 0 05). Conclusion The hyperactivity of the facial motonucleus may be the pathophysiological basis of hemifacial spasm.
