1.Radioiodine ~(131) treatment is effective for Graves' disease
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2001;0(02):-
Radioiodine 131 treatment for Graves' hyperthyroidism began nearly 70 years ago,and it has been recognized as the mainstream therapy for Graves' hyperthyroidism in western countries due to its simplicity and high cure rate.Indications of radioiodine 131 treatment have been changing during the past decades, now its main indication is Graves' hyperthyroidism of adult patients, especially when the patients were complicated with heart disease, leucocytopenia or hepatic damage. In Western countries, the cure rate of radioiodine 131 treatment is approximately 100%,yet the incidence of hypothyroidism is above 50%.Now hypothyroidism is accepted as an inevitable outcome for many patients after radioiodine 131 treatment.Evidence-based experiments during the past 70 years also showed that the therapy did not increase incidences of malignancies or leukemia, and had no influence on genetics or reproduction.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2014;(8):716-719
The establishment animal model of Graves’ disease contributes to the study of etiology, pathogenesis and therapeutic modalities. After decades of studies and making improvements, the method of building mice model of Graves’disease has achieved a great development. Although there were many reports of animal model building in Graves’disease, as a mature technology A-subunit of thyrotropin receptor( TSHR)-expressing adenovirus was used to establish Graves’disease mice model, which has been accepted widely because of its high efficacy.
4.Detection of Mycoplasma and Analysis of Drug Sensitivity in 3280 Patients with Nongonococcal Urethritis
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(02):-
OBJECTIVE To understand the situation of Mycoplasma infection and drug sensitivity in the patients of nongonococcal urethritis(NGU) in area of Yuebei. METHODS Totally 3 280 specimens in the patients of NGU were collected, cultured and tested for drug sensitivity. RESULTS From them there were 1 221 patients who had Mycoplasma(37.22%).The simple infection of Ureaplasma urealyticun(Uu) was 922 cases(28.11%) and Mycoplasma(Mh) 91 cases(2.77%),respectively.The mixed was 208 cases(6.34%).The result of drug sensitivity showed that sensitivity of Mycoplasma to josamycin was the highest, then was to levofloxacin(Cravit) and sparfloxacin.Ciprofloxacin was with the highest drug resistance, then were erythromycin and doxycycline. CONCLUSIONS Mycoplasma have high drug resistance to ciprofloxacin, erythromycin and doxycycline. The resistance rate to minocycline and clarithromycin is in a rising tendency. The antibiotics should be used reasonably to reduce the development of drug-resistant strains.

6.Treatment strategy of fracture or dislocation of atlantoaxial articulation in children
Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(10):-
The atlantoaxial articulation fracture or dislocation in children is one kind of common damage disease on upper cervical vertebra.Because the children are still in the stage of development, the atlantoaxial articulation ligamentum capsulare and the ligament are relax,so they are easy to be dislocated by external forces or be spontaneous dislocated caused by pathology reasons. The upper cervical vertebra damages on the children are quite different from that on the adults both in anatomical view and in biological term, therefore, the treatment are different from adults either. The treatments can be divided into the conservative ones and the surgery ones, the surgery treatment can also be divided into the posterior atlantoaxial fixed fusion technology, the occipitocervical fixed fusion technology and the odontid screw pexia. No matter using the conservative treatments or the surgical operation treatments, the root cure for the atlantoaxial articulation fracture or dislocation is to re-construct the stability of the articulation. The key point of freatment selection is to grasp the indications of each method.

9.Ezetimibe in the prevention of ischemic stroke
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2021;29(2):142-147
Dyslipidemia is a risk factor for stroke, and reducing low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels can decrease the risk of ischemic stroke. Both statins and PCSK9 inhibitors can effectively reduce LDL-C levels, but some patients cannot tolerate statins, and PCSK9 inhibitors are expensive. Animal experiments have shown that ezetimibe can reduce oxidative stress and endoplasmic reticulum stress response, inhibit cell apoptosis, increase autophagy, and protect nerve tissue by activating AMP activated protein kinase (AMPK) signaling pathway. Clinical studies have shown that ezetimibe can further reduce LDL-C levels on the basis of statin therapy, and reduce the risk of ischemic stroke in patients with acute coronary syndromes, and there is no obvious adverse reaction. However, ezetimibe cannot reduce the incidence of stroke in elderly people who are ≥75 years old, have elevated LDL-C and do not have coronary heart disease. At present, there are few studies on the use of ezetimibe for secondary prevention of ischemic stroke, and its effect needs to be further confirmed by large randomized controlled trials.

Objective To explore the clinical features and operative treatment of chronic bladder entrapment and bowel herniation after traumatic symphysis pubis diastasis. Methods One patient of late pelvic posttraumatic mal-alignment as Tile C2 type, which was associated with serious symphysis separation and combination of chronic bladder entrapment and bowel herniation, was admitted to our hospital in August 2002. The X-ray, three-dimensional CT reconstruction, MRI, and the bladder cystography were performed respectively in order to confirm the conditions. With the usage of ilioinguinal approach, the symphysis pubis diastasis was exposed and restored firstly; then, the malunion site of the left iliac was corrected; finally, after the reduction and internal fixation of the pelvis, the bowel herniation was resolved and the inferior abdominal wall defect was repaired with artificial materials. During the operation, the abnormal conditions were ob-served as follow: 1) The distance of symphysis pubis separation was about 7.5 cm; 2) the full-thick of the ectus abdominis was torn longitudinally tear along the middle line, and the transversalis fascia was fibrosis and adhered to the peritoneum, which consisted of hernia capsule; 3) the small bowel had been entrapped over the bladder through the gap of rectus abdominis and the right Hesselbach triangle. Results The pa-tient was followed up of 6 months. The limb discrepancy had been corrected satisfactory with a sound frac-ture healing and a good gait recovering after operation. The urinary function has recovered with a normal ap-pearance of penis. The patient felt stronger then to relieve the bowels than he did preoperatively. The erected dysfunction did not improve postoperatively. Conclusion The combined osteotomy and rigid fixation through anterior and posterior pelvic ring in the same stage is an effective method to close the symphysis seperation, decrease the volume of pelvic cavity, construct the pelvic floor indirectly, repair the inferior ab-dominal wall defect, cure the bowel herniation, and improve the bladder entrapment.
