This paper collected and analysed the materials concernig constitution and the nutritional level of the diets of inhabitants in Dandong city from 1959 to 1985. The results showed 1) Nutrients level of the diets increased with years and became rational. Intakes of energy and protein were over 110% and 97.1% of the RDA:the protein provided 10.5%, fat 30% and carbohydrate 58% of total energy intake; and 13.2% of protein originated from animal sources. 2) The weight of new-borns and children was less than that in developed countries. 3) The weight of children at age 8 and 14 increased 0.11 (boy), 0.06 (girl) and 0.33, 0.2lkg respectively. The height of the boys increased 0.37, 0.51 cm and the girls 0.28, 0.30 cm respectively. The increased rate is quicker. 4) At the age 0-7, the incidence of the des-eases caused by malnutrition declined yearly but incidence of rickets dropped down less. This may concern less sunning and less VD of the diets.

Background contamination is a major problem in the analysis of organophosphate esters (OPEs). In this study, the possible sources of OPEs pollution were screened and several different ways were applied to minimize the blank contamination. Under the strict quality control measures, the cleanup efficiency of different solid phase extraction (SPE) was investigated for OPEs in different environmental matrices. A method was developed for the detection of 7 OPEs in dust, soil and sediment samples by gas chromatograph coupled with mass spectrometry ( GC / MS). Target compounds were extracted by hexane:dichloromethane (1 : 1, V/ V) followed by aminopropyl silica gel SPE column cleanup for dust, and target compounds in soil and sediment were Soxhlet extracted and cleanuped by two-step SPE. The results showed that the aminopropyl silica gel SPE column displayed the best purification performance among the three employed columns. Instrumental detection limits among the 7 OPEs ranged from 2. 5 to 25. 8 μg / L, and the method limits of quantification (MLOQs) in dust and soil sample ranged from 1. 4 to 15. 7 ng / g and 0. 3 to 2. 9 ng / g, respectively. The average recoveries of 7 OPEs in different matrices ( dust and soil) at two spiked concentration levels ranged from 67. 9% to 117. 4% . The proposed method was successfully applied to detect OPEs in different environmental matrices collected in Shanghai.

Objective To investigate the efficacy of twice irradiating with focused ultrasound on recurrent and metastasized U14 cervical cancer implanted in the legs of mice. Methods Seventy-two mice with U14 cervical cancer cells implanted in their legs were divided into three groups randomly, with 24 rats in each group. One group received a single dose of focused ultrasound, while mice in the second group were irradiated twice and surgery resection was administered to the third group 7 or 8 days after the tumor was implanted. After 23 days post implantation of the tumor, local tumor recurrence and metastasis to the lungs and lymph nodes were evaluated. Results The inhibition rate after double irradiation was 61.70% for local recurrence and 68.18% for metastasis, significantly higher than in the other two groups. Conclusions Both single and double irradiation with focused ultrasound are effective for inhibiting local recurrence and metastasis, but double irradiation is more effective.

With the development of precision medicine for lung cancer, targeted therapy has greatly improved the survival and prognosis of patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), but the occurrence of acquired drug resistance ultimately leads to patients with no targeted drugs available and no standard treatment options for this group of patients afterwards. The emergence of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) has revolutionized the treatment of advanced NSCLC. However, due to the unique features of NSCLC with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation, such as immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME), single ICIs treatment has limited clinical benefits in NSCLC patients with EGFR mutation, and the combination of ICIs with chemotherapy and/or targeted therapies is the trend. This review further discusses potential subpopulations with EGFR mutations that may benefit from ICIs treatment, and analyzes how decisions can be made in the era of combined immunotherapy to maximize the efficacy of ICIs treatment in EGFR mutation targeted therapy for NSCLC patients with drug resistance, with the aim of achieving individualized treatment.
