Objective To study the effects of an extended-interval dosing regimen of gonadotropin releasing hormone agonist(GnRH-a) in the treatment of adenomyosis. Methods 20 patients with adenomyosis who asked for medicine treatment were divided into two groups randomly(n=10). The patients in the study group were given four doses of triptorelin depot 3. 75mg every 6 weeks in a new extended-interval dosing regimen. The other patients in the control group were given triptorelin 3.75mg in the conventional depot regimen of six doses, each given 4 weeks apart. The changes of degree of dysmenorrhea and the uterine volume were investigated. And the level of sexual hormone was also detected both before and after therapy. Results After six months of therapy, the reliving rate of dysmenorrheal was 100% both in the new regimen and the conventional regimen. The uterine volume was reduced at 46.7 % and 47. 5 % . And the level of LH, FSH and E2 were decreased significantly(P 0.05).Conclusion The use of the extended-interval dosing regimen of triptorelin depot in adenomyosis results in a consistent hypoestrogenised state, which is similar to that achieved by the conventional regimen. The new regimen thus reduces the cost of treatment obviously.

Objective To investigate effect of first, second, and third trimester placental factors (PF) on CD4, CCR5, and CXCR4 expression in human peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBLs), and to explore their influence on human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) vertical transmission. Methods Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were treated with first, second, and third trimester PF (concentration 25%) respectively for 24 hours. The expression of CD4, CCR5,and CXCR4 in PBLs, and the percentages of CCR5+, CXCR4+,and CCR5+CXCR4+ cells in peripheral blood CD4+ lymphocytes were determined with flow cytometry. Results All trimester PFs reduced CCR5 expression in PBLs. The efficiency of the first trimester PF was higher than that of the second and third trimester PF. The percentage of CCR5+ cells in peripheral blood CD4+ lymphocytes of PF groups was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the percentage of CCR5+ cells in peripheral blood CD4+ lymphocytes of the first trimester PF group was significantly lower than that of the second and third trimester group. The percentages of CCR5+CXCR4+ cells in peripheral blood CD4+ lymphocytes of PF groups were significantly decreased as compared with the control group, and the percentage of CCR5+CXCR4+ cells in peripheral blood CD4+ lymphocytes of the first trimester PF group was significantly lower than that of the third trimester PF group. Conclusion PF can reduce the expression of CCR5 in human PBLs and peripheral blood CD4+ lymphocytes, indicating that PF might reduce R5 virus infection via preventing HIV entry, and might play an important role in reducing R5 virus intrauterine infection.

Objective:To investigate the use of the reference intervals for blood cell counting and the reference of industry standard in China. Methods:Information from all laboratories was collected using online questionnaire in 18 reference intervals survey in blood cell counting in 2019. The information includes the source of the reference intervals, the verification of the reference intervals, and the upper and lower limits of the reference intervals, the method used, the instrument, the reagent and the calibrator. Microsoft Excel 2007 software was used to analyze the results of all laboratories. The median and 95% confidence interval were calculated. The distribution of the reference intervals for blood cell counting and their conformance to industry standards were analyzed.Results:2, 869 labs reported the data. The main sources were industry standards and National Guide to Clinical Laboratory Procedures. The proportion was 33.30%-35.02% and 28.55%-30.90% respectively. 49.44%-55.13% of laboratories validated the reference interval when citing industry standards. The reference interval grouping of most laboratories (89.37%-91.69%) cited in RBC, Hgb and Hct were consistent with the industry standards. We compared the upper and lower limits of the reference intervals with that given by the industry standards, when the lower limit of the reference intervals of mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration, absolute neutrophils count, absolute basophils count, absolute monocyte count, and lymphocyte percentage were compared. The upper limit of reference intervals of neutrophils percentage as well as upper and lower limits of reference intervals of mean corpuscular volume, mean corpuscular hemoglobin, absolute eosinophil count, basophils percentage, and monocyte percentage were also compared. The median and mode were equal and consistent with industry standards. For other labs, the upper and lower limits of the reference intervals were not consistent with the reference intervals given by the industry standards. Conclusion:The use of reference intervals for blood cell counting was not the same, and the implementation of industry standards was not optimistic. A considerable number of laboratories had not verified the reference intervals, so it was necessary to promote the industry standards for reference intervals.

Objective Related factors of pediatric obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) combined with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) were retrospectively analyzed in OSAHS children. Methods The research included 437 cases of children hospitalized for OSAHS from January, 2014 to December, 2014. All the cases were divided into OSAHS group and OSAHS combined with ADHD group, according to the presence or absence of ADHD. Patient's general conditions (gender, age, height, weight, allergic rhinitis history, tonsil grade and adenoid grade), OSA-18 quality of life score, intention-hyperactivity score, polysomnography parameter (apnea hypopnea index, lowest oxygen) were collected as variables. SPSS20.0 was used to perform statistical analyses. Results There were 437 cases in this research, 298 of them were males, and 139 of them were females. Of 437 patients, 147 had OSAHS combined with ADHD (33.64%). Higher apnea hypopnea index (P <0.01) and severer oxygen deflciency (P < 0.01) were found in OSAHS combined with ADHD group than those in OSAHA group. Five projects of OSA - 18 score of in OSAHS combined with ADHD group were all higher than those in OSAHS group (P <0.01).Conclusions The incidence of pediatric OSAHS combined with ADHD in this research was more than 30%. More OSAHS combined with ADHD were found in male children. The quality of life was lower in pediatric OSAHS combined with ADHD. Oxygen deflciency was suggested to be the most important risk factor of ADHD in pediatric OSAHS.
