Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2012;19(3):316-318
Coronary artery lesions caused by Kawasaki disease have main effect to its prognosis.Thelesions can be showed as arteriitis, arteriectasis, aneurysm and arterial stenosis stenosis.Ultrasonic cardiography is the first choice to detect the lesions, especially in dilatation and aneurysm formation of the coronary artery. It can definitely show the diameter and the degree of dilatation of the coronary artery. With the development of ultrasonic equipments as well as the applications of new technique, ultrasonic cardiography is playing an important role in Kawasaki disease of early diagnosis, therapeutic effect, prognosis estimation and Iongterm follow -up.
2.Long-term neurodevelopmental outcomes of very low birth weight
International Journal of Pediatrics 2011;38(3):223-225
The birth rate of very low birth weight(VLBW)is rising year by year, and its survival rate increases with developing of modern methods of neonatal intensive care. The outcomes of VLBW have become a social concern.VLBW have different brain structure compared with term children, mainly in the reduction of brain volume.including the reduction of gray matter volume and white matter vollame.Because of these pathologic changes in brain.some VLBW show severe neurodevelopmental disorders in childhood, including cognitive problems.behavioral and psychological problems, motor clumsiness and so on.
3.Package of recombinant adeno-associated virus encoding cell division cycle 2-siRNA
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(28):5549-5553
BACKGROUND: Cell division cycle 2 (cdc2) plays an important role in the course of neuronal degeneration in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease. The silencing of cdc2 gene with adeno-associated virus vector might protect the neurons in neurodegenerative diseases.OBJECTIVE: To pack recombinant adeno-associated virus (rAAV) encoding cdc2-siRNA. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: Blank control experiment was performed in the laboratory of Department of Neurology at Wuhan Tongji Hospital between October 2007 and August 2008. MATERIALS: Helper Free adeno-associated virus system (pAAV-MCS-EGFP, p-RC, p-Helper) and AAV-293 cells were purchased from Stratagene. METHODS: The pAAV-MCS-U6-cdc2-siRNA-EGFP expressing plasmid was constructed by molecular biological techniques. The cotransfection of this plasmid, together with p-RC and p-Helper into AAV-293 calls was mediated by calcium acid phosphate. The rAAV encoding cdc2-siRNA (rAAV-U6-cdc2-siRNA-EGFP) was packed and harvested. The silencing effect of this virus on cdc2 gene expression in AAV-293 cells was assessed by Western Blot, and its titer was determined by spot hybridization method. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: sequencing of pAAV-MCS-U6-cdc2-siRNA-EGFP plasmid inserting U6-cdc2-siRNA; 3 plasmid pAAV-MCS-U6-cdc2-siRNA-EGFP, p-RC, p-Helper cotransfecting AAV-293 cells; cdc2 expression after rAAV-U6-cdc2-siRNA-EGFP infected AAV-293 cells.RESULTS: ①The successful construction of U6-cdc2-siRNA in pAAV-MCS-EGFP plasmid was proved by DNA sequencing. ②Green fluorescent protein was expressed in AAV-293 cells, and the contransfection was working well. ③The cdc2 gene expression in AAV-293 cells was down-regulated markedly after infection of rAAV-U6-cdc2-siRNA-EGFP. ④The titer of rAAV-U6-cdc2-siRNA-EGFP was 1×10<'12> v.g/mL.CONCLUSION: The package of rAAV encoding cdc2-siRNA is successful. It can silence cdc2 gene effectively.

Objective To investigate the association between hepatic fibrosis and anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA)in the patients with schistosomiasis. Methods Totally 145 schistosomiasis patients confirmed by Jingzhou First Peo-ple's Hospital during the period of February 2014 to June 2016 were randomly selected as an experimental group, and 100 healthy people during the same period were randomly selected as a control group. The serum samples of the two groups were col-lected and the level of ANCA was detected by indirect immunofluorescence, and the levels of hyaluronic acid,laminin,procol-lagen type Ⅲ,and collagen type Ⅳ were detected by radioimmunoassay. The levels of the above indexes of the two groups were compared. Results The positive rate of ANCA was 28.96%(42/145)in the experimental group and 1.00%(1/100)in the healthy control group, and the difference between them was statistically significant(P < 0.05). The levels of hyaluronic acid, laminin, procollagen type Ⅲ and collagen type Ⅳ in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P < 0.05),and the proportions of those with abnormal levels of hyal-uronic acid, laminin, procollagen type Ⅲ and collagen type IV in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P < 0.05). In the experimental group, among the 42 pa-tients with ANCA positives, the proportions of those with abnormal levels of hyaluronic acid and laminin were significantly high-er than the proportions of those with ANCA negatives, and in the former, the levels of the four indicators of liver fibrosis were all higher than the normal values, and the average levels of hyaluronic acid and laminin in the patients with ANCA positives were significantly higher than those in the patients with ANCA negatives(all P < 0.05). Conclusion The patients with schistosomia-sis hepatic fibrosis could be positive for the autoimmune antibody ANCA,and ANCA may be associated with the autoimmune process of liver fibrosis.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2015;(8):735-738
[Summary] Glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide ( GIP) is known to promote the release of insulin fromβcells, but this function suffers from a defect in obese patients. More and more evidences suggest that GIP is the bridge between a high-fat diet, obesity, insulin resistance, and type 2 diabetes. With the deepening of research in GIP in type 2 diabetes and obesity, GIP may provide new ideas for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and obesity.

Chinese Journal of Dermatology 1994;0(05):-
A 13 year old male farmer suffered from cutaneous and nail phaeohyphomycosis for five years is reported in this paper. The lesions were dull red, nodules and well defined plaques with ulcerations, mainly on the face, extremities, palmar and plantar surfaces and buttocks. Some of them were covered with thick greyish black crusts. General examination did not reveal abnormal findings except the skin lesions. Histopathology showed granulomatous response with numerous light brown septate branching hyphae. The colonies were greyish brown on SDA and PDA at 25℃ and 37℃ with brownish black ascomata. The ioslated strain was identified as Chaetomium globosum based on the morphological features of ascomata, ascomal hairs and ascospores.
