Objective To investigate the level of self-care behaviors and self-efficacy among adult type 2 diabetes patients in community and discuss current problems.Methods A convenient sample of 85 patients with type 2 diabetes in Haiyuncang community was interviewed,using diabetes self-care scale and diabetes self-efficacy scale.Totally 85 questionnaires were got and underwent analysis.Results The index score of self-care behaviors and self-efficacy among adult type 2 diabetes patients in community were 66.98% and 69.02%.There were no significant difference in self-care behaviors of patients whether they attended diabetes lectures or not.Self-efficacy correlated significantly with self-care behaviors.Conclusions The self-care behaviors and self-efficacy of diabetes patients need to be improved,and diabetes education in community should be emphasized and carried out effectively.

Objective This research is to assess the heterozygosity of Tbx1 gene on 22q11 2 in the patients with conotruncal heart malformation.Methods By fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) with partial segment of Tbx1 gene, we examined 22 patients with conotruncal heart malformation including 5 syndromic cases and 17 isolated cases. Northern blot was performed with RNA of 50 human tissues.Results Two of 5 syndromic patients had chromosome 22q11 2 hemizygote microdeletion of the Tbx1 gene, while 17 isolated patients did not show such deletion. Northern blot showed that there were Tbx1 gene positive expression in skeletal muscle, testis, lung and fetal heart.Conclusions Our study suggests that Tbx1 gene may be one of the pathogenic gene related to CATCH22.Association of the Tbx1 gene and conotruncal heart teratogenic gene is to be further detected in gene mutation of patients without heterozygosity deletion.

Objective To study the results of treatment of open fracture of tibia and fibula by external fixation with unilateral multifunction external fixation apparatus(UMEFA) and plaster in different period. Methods 89 cases with open fracture of tibia and fibula had got reduction and external fixation with UMEFA and then divided into two groups, group A of 53 cases followed by external fixation with UMEFA, 8 cases of them were forced to remove UMEFA because of complications, the other 45 cases followed by external fixation with UMEFA till bone union, group B of 36 cases were removed UMEFA and changed with plaster when the skin was healed, the sweal was eliminated and the bone was steady. Objective To study the role of chronic prostatitis(CP)in the pathogenesis and development of IgA nephropathy(IgAN). Methods The incidence rate of CP was compared between the patients with IgAN and the patients with non-IgA mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis. Furthermore, the clinical and pathological features were compared between the IgAN patients without CP and those with CP. The therapeutic effect of anti-inflammatory treatment in IgAN patients with CP was evaluated. Results Incidence of CP in IgAN patients was 44.7% and that in non-IgA mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis patients was 21.6%. There was significant difference in the incidence of chronic prostatitis between the two groups. The incidence of glomerular sclerosis and the deposition of immune complexes in vascular wall in IgAN patients with CP were higher than that in patients without CP. The treatment of CP may be beneficial in ameliorating IgAN in some patients. Conclusion Chronic prostatitis is one of the probable pathogenetic factors in IgAN.

Effects of Shou Wu Huan Jing Capsule. on human sperm moment velosity, index of vitality, capillary penetrativity test and sperm hypotonic expansion test were analysed for the application in improving the seminal quality of male infertility patients in culture of human sperm with extract of Shou Wu Huan Jing Capsule. The results revealed that it could promote motor ability and membrane function of sperm. Thus, it is of potential application value for treatment of male infertility and in auxiliary fertility technique as extrinsic additive.

Objective: To explore the protective roll of ifbroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) in endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS) induced rat's H9c2 cardiomyocyte apoptosis with its mechanism. Methods: pcDNA4 was used as gene vector, pcDNA4-FGF21 plasmid was constructed and transfected into rat's H9c2 myocardiocytes for 48 h. ERS model was established by 10 μM tunicamycin (TM) induction for 24 h. The experiment was conducted in 4 groups:①Control group,②TM group, the cells were treated by TM,③pcDNA4-FGF21+TM group,④pcDNA4+TM group. The expressions of FGF21, protein kinase R-like ER kinase (PERK) and c-Jun N-terminal kinases (JNK) mediated apoptosis pathway related protein were measured by Western blot analysis; cell survival rate was examined by CCK-8 method and apoptosis rate was detected by TUNEL technique. Results: pcDNA4-FGF21 vector was successfully constructed and overexpressed in H9c2 myocardiocytes. Compared with Control group, TM group and pcDNA4+TM group had up-regulated endogenous FGF21 expression, increased PERK and JNK mediated apoptosis pathway related protein expression; reduced cell survival rate and elevated apoptosis rate. Compared with TM group and pcDNA4+TM group, pcDNA4-FGF21+TM group had down-regulated PERK and JNK mediated apoptosis pathway related protein expression; increased cell survival rate and decreased apoptosis rate. Conclusion: FGF21 overexpression can reduce ERS induced apoptosis rat's H9c2 myocardiocytes which might be partly related for inhibiting PERK and JNK mediated signal transduction of apoptosis pathway.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of ultrasonography in neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC)by Meta analysis.Methods PubMed,EMbase,CBM,CNKI,VIP and WanFang databases were retrieved to incorporate studies on the diagnostic value of ultrasound in NEC that met the inclusion criteria.The retrieval time limit was from establishment of the databases to July 24th,2015. QUADAS was used to assess the quality of the literatures and Meta -Disc software (Version 1 .4)was used for Meta analysis.The SROC was drawn and the area under curve (AUC)of SROC was calculated.Results A total of 7 studies were included and 485 patients were involved.The sensitivity of the ultrasonography was 0.65 (95%CI 0.58 ~0.71 )and the specificity was 0.61 (95%CI 0.55 ~0.67).The AUC of the SROC was 0.726.Conclusion The ultrasonography showed no clear advantage for diagnosis of NEC.Combining with clinical manifestations would enhance the diagnostic ability of the ultrasound.
