Objective To investigate the factors affecting platelet transfusion efficiency. Methods A total of 102 cases of leuke-mia patients were recruited in the study, whose platelet count were measured before platelet transfusion and 1,24 h after platelet transfusion, then corrected count increment(CCI)values were calculated.By using CCI combined with clinical manifestations, the ef-ficacy of platelet transfusion were evaluated. The platelet antibody were detected before platelet transfusion.Depending on whether there were platelet antibodies, complications, the number of times of platelet transfusion, the types of platelet, patients were grouped and their platelet transfusion efficiency and CCI values were compared. Results The total effective rate of platelet transfusions were 71.6%(73/102 ).Invalid transfusion group had higher platelet antibody positive rate (17.2%)than effective transfusion group (2.7%),the difference were statistically significant(P <0.05).Among the groups of different transfusion times, the tansfusion effi-ciency was statistically different(P <0.05).With the increase of the number of times of platelet transfusion, the platelet transfusion efficiency decreased.Comparison between different types of platelets showed different platelet transfusion efficiency, which was sta-tistically significant(P <0.05).1 h and 24 h CCI value, platelet antibodies and whether patients with complications were related(P<0.05).1 h and 24 h CCI values were both associated with platelet antibodies and complications(P <0.05).Conclusion Platelet antibodies, complications, times of platelet transfusion and types of platelet transfusion are affecting factors of the transfusion effica-cy in patients with leukemia.

Objective The aim of the longitudinal was to explore the level of posttraumatic growth (PTG) and the effect on rehabilitation outcome in patients who received renal transplant. Methods A questionnaire survey was carried out in patients after renal transplant in one month (T1) and six months (T2) in China during hospitalization. PTG was measured by the Posttraumatic Growth Inventory (PTGI), depression by the Patient Health Questionaire (PHQ-9), anxiety by the Generalised Anxiety Disorder Questionaire (GAD-7). Totally 180 patients were recruited, and 160 completed the follow-up measure. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS 20.0. Results There were 88.3% (158/180) patients reported positive PTG in T1, and 94.3% (151/160) in T2. The mean score of posttraumatic growth at T1 and T2 had no significant difference (T1:77.96 ± 16.36,T2:79.54 ± 17.58;t=-1.302,P=0.195). PTG was not significant to the recovery of physical symptoms (χ2Creatinine=0.504,P=0.841,χ2recover=0.609,P=0.777, χ2complication=6.131,P=0.150), while it affected the incidence of anxiety (χ2=7.541, P=0.021), but not related with the incidence of depression (χ2=3.926,P=0.130). Conclusions There is no difference in the level of PTG in time. PTG has no obvious effect on body health recovery for patients with renal transplantation after six months, while for the mental health, PTG has no effect on depression symptoms, but can reduce the occurrence of anxiety symptoms.

Purpose To explore whether potassium perchlorate shall be taken orally to occlude gastric mucosa before taking 99Tcm-3PRGD2 SPECT/CT gastric image, and to provide theoretical evidence for clinical application.Material and Methods Eighteen adult male Wistar rats were divided into three groups randomly:low dose group of potassium perchlorate (36 mg/kg),high dose group (72 mg/kg) and normal saline control group, with six rats in each group. All rats were conducted with gavage of 1 ml/100 g respectively and,one hour later, injected with 99Tcm-3PRGD2 intravenously to rat tail. Then 99Tcm-3PRGD2 gastric image was taken two hours later. The same film reader carried out audio analysis of the image and then gastric and radioactivity ratio (T/N) on the lung of the same side were analyzed. Results Preparation of 99Tcm-3PRGD2 was simple and radiochemical purity of final products was (98.90±0.70)%.Rat weights in high dose group of potassium perchlorate, low dose group and control group were (479.7t21.5) g,(481.0± 17.6) g and (478.5± 16.5) g,respectively. The differences were of no statistical significance (F=0.027,P>0.05).T/N values in rat stomach area were 1.2219±0.0165,1.2204±0.0167 and 1.2186±0.0175,respectively.The differences were of no statistical significance (F=0.055,P>0.05).Conclusion Preparation of 99Tcm-3PRGD2 is simple and radiochemical purity is high. There is great possibility of no need to take potassium perchlorate orally to occlude gastric mucosa when taking 99Tcm-3PRGD2 SPECT/CT image (especially when the radiochemical purity of final products is over 98%),making it convenient in clinical promotion and utilization.

The clinical data of rare hemiaxial limb skeletal Ollier disease in a child admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University in July 2020 were analyzed retrospectively. The literature was reviewed and the methods of diagnosis and treatment of Ollier disease in children were summarized. The patient is a 3-year-old boy, who was hospitalized for 2 days of claudication of the right lower limb.Imaging examination showed hemiaxial limb ske-letal disease and suggested the possibility of histiocytosis.Curettage, bone graft and plaster external fixation were performed on the lesions of the right femoral neck and greater trochanter. The postoperative pathological results indicated endogenous chondroma. The follow-up results revealed that the bone graft healed well, the symptoms of claudication were improved, and there were no complications such as infections and femoral head necrosis.Long tubular bones are the main site of children′s Ollier disease, but multiple lesions in hemiaxial limbs are extremely rare.It is difficult to diagnose this rare case, which is easily misdiagnosed. At present, it′s diagnosis still needs to be confirmed by pathological examination.Surgical treatment and long-term follow-up are needed for children with a wide range of lesions, seriously impaired limb function and obvious limb deformity.

Background::The conversion of adenosine (A) to inosine (I) through deamination is the prevailing form of RNA editing, impacting numerous nuclear and cytoplasmic transcripts across various eukaryotic species. Millions of high-confidence RNA editing sites have been identified and integrated into various RNA databases, providing a convenient platform for the rapid identification of key drivers of cancer and potential therapeutic targets. However, the available database for integration of RNA editing in hematopoietic cells and hematopoietic malignancies is still lacking.Methods::We downloaded RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) data of 29 leukemia patients and 19 healthy donors from National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database, and RNA-seq data of 12 mouse hematopoietic cell populations obtained from our previous research were also used. We performed sequence alignment, identified RNA editing sites, and obtained characteristic editing sites related to normal hematopoietic development and abnormal editing sites associated with hematologic diseases.Results::We established a new database, "REDH", represents RNA editome in hematopoietic differentiation and malignancy. REDH is a curated database of associations between RNA editome and hematopoiesis. REDH integrates 30,796 editing sites from 12 murine adult hematopoietic cell populations and systematically characterizes more than 400,000 edited events in malignant hematopoietic samples from 48 cohorts (human). Through the Differentiation, Disease, Enrichment, and knowledge modules, each A-to-I editing site is systematically integrated, including its distribution throughout the genome, its clinical information (human sample), and functional editing sites under physiological and pathological conditions. Furthermore, REDH compares the similarities and differences of editing sites between different hematologic malignancies and healthy control.Conclusions::REDH is accessible at http://www.redhdatabase.com/. This user-friendly database would aid in understanding the mechanisms of RNA editing in hematopoietic differentiation and malignancies. It provides a set of data related to the maintenance of hematopoietic homeostasis and identifying potential therapeutic targets in malignancies.
