Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(01):-
186 serum samples from 81 patients with gastric cancer were determined for circulatingimmune complexe (CIC) by using the polyethylene glycol turbidity assay. Compared with 105healthy blood donors, the mean value of CIC were significantly increased in pretreatment pati-ents (47.46?24.52vs.27.67?12.09), and the corresponding figures for stage Ⅰ+Ⅱ, Ⅲ and stage Ⅳpatients were 38.60?14.24, 42.04?13. 18 and 54.31?29. 15 respectively. The incidence of positivityof CIC in pretreatment patients was 32.1%. The mean value of CIC is significantlyhigher in patients whose disease could not be treated with radical surgery than in patientswhose disease could.CIC levels increased significantly during 11~45 days after radical operation.CIC levels were positive correlated with levels of serum IgA, IgM, C_3, and negative corre-lated with the rate of lymphocyte transformation. The patients found positive for ANA hadhigher incidence of positivity of CIC than those found negative for ANA.The clinical signifi-cance of CIC in patients with gastric cancer was also discussed.

The sulfonylureas as insulin secretagogues, have formed a cornerstone of pharmacotherapy for type 2 diabetes over 50 years.Although sulfonylureas are effective antihyperglycemic agents, individual variability exists in drug response (i.e.,pharmacodynamics) and adverse effects which may be related to some genes. This article mainly reviews the advance of recent studies about drug metabolism and pharmacogenomics of sulfonylureas.
4. Development of fluorescent immunochromatographic strip for detection of cefalexin residue
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2014;49(12):1067-1072
OBJECTIVE: To develop a rapid and sensitive fluorescent immunochromatographic strip for the detection of cefalexin residue. METHODS: The Eu-silica nanoparticles were synthesized by using RP-microemulsion technology. The Eu-silica nanoparticles conjugated with cefalexin monoclonal antibody was used as a fluorescent label. The fluorescent immunochromatographic strip for the detection of cefalexin based on competitive inhibition immunoassay format was developed. The cefalexin-ovalbumin and goat anti-mouse IgG were immobilized on the nitrocellulose membrane as the test line and control line. RESULTS: After experiment optimization, the developed strip could provide detection results within 30 min and the limit of detection of cefalexin was 25 ng·mL-1. There was no cross-reactivity with 12 kinds of antibiotics including cephalosporins and penicillin. CONCLUSION: The fluorescence immunochromatographic strip is rapid, sensitive, and easy to operate, which may be a powerful tool to detect antibiotics in the future.

Objective To assess the radiofrequency ablation (RFA) lesions in canine prostate with real-time harmonic gray-scale contrast-enhanced ultrasonography and investigate the feasibility to predict these lesions. Methods A total of 5 male beagle dogs took RFA of the prostate.Radiofrequency (RF) was delivered under transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) guidance.A lesion was created in the right and left lateral lobes of canine prostate, respectively. The examination of conventional gray-scale ultrasonography, power Doppler ultrasonography,real-time harmonic gray-scale contrast-enhanced ultrasonography were performed immediately after RF procedure. All animals were subsequently sacrificed and the prostates were harvested for pathologic analysis.Thermal lesion volume was calculated based on expected shape of ellipsoid using equation. The volumes of the calculated thermal lesion on contrast-enhanced ultrasonography in dogs were compared with the volumes obtained from the pathological specimens. Results The RFA lesions could not be imaged accurately with real-time conventional gray-scale or power Doppler ultrasonography.However,contrast-enhanced low MI perfusion imaging was able to have real-time monitoring for the lesion (no blood flow). The volume of lesions was measured with contrast-enhanced ultrasonography without significant difference with those of pathologic results.Ultrasonic imaging(conventional gray-scale or power Doppler sonography)of the ablation areas also had its own characteristics. Conclusion The real-time harmonic gray-scale contrast-enhanced ultrasonography appears to be an accurate modality for assessment of RFA lesions.Conventional gray-scale and power Doppler sonography had their own characteristics to evaluate the RFA lesion.

Objective To preliminarily evaluate the value of color power doppler ultrasonography in the diagnosis of sacroiliitis in ankylosing spondylitis(AS). Methods Fifty-seven sacroiliac joints in 31 patients with active AS and 40 sacroiliac joints in 20 volunteers were detected by color power doppler ultrasonography. The color flow signs inside the sacroiliac joints were observed, and the resistance index(RI) was measured. Results In active AS,color flow signs were seen in 55 joints, and the mean RI value was 0.53?0.08 in 45 joints, while the other 10 color flow signs represented reversed phase in diastolic phase on pulse doppler ultrasonography. In the volunteers, color flow signs were seen in 16 joints, and the mean RI value was 0.97?0.01 in 6 joints, while the other 10 color flow signs represented reversed phase in diastolic phase on pulse doppler ultrasonography. Conclusion The abnormal flow signs at the sacroiliac joints can be detected by color power doppler ultrasonography.Low RI values provide diagnosis evidence for active AS.
