2.Effects of diclofenac sodium combined with dionine in cases with fibrinous membrane after intraocular lens implantation
Journal of Central South University(Medical Sciences) 2001;26(2):131-132
Objective The effects of diclofenac sodium(DFNa) combined with dionine in cases with fibrin exudation membrane on intraocular lens (IOL) were studied. Methods Thirty-two eyes, derived from sixteen adult pure bred New Zealand rabbits, were divided at random into two groups after extracapsular lens extraction with posterior chamber IOL implantation: (1) rabbits received DFNa eyedrops combined with dionine eyedrops; (2) rabbits received Pred forte eyedrops. The sum of fibrinous exudation membrane on IOL was observed on 1,3,5,7,14,21,30d postoperation. Results The fibrin exudations in the DFNa combined with dionine group is less than the pred forte group (P>0.05). Conclusion DFNa combined with dionine is effective in treating fibrin exudation membrane after extracapsular lens extraction and IOL implantation, and it is more effective than the pred forte.

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease caused by both genetic and environmental factors, it has a significant association with lifestyle. This paper mainly discusses the effects of diet, sleep, smoking, physical exercise, and lifestyle intervention that interact with genetics on diabetes.
4.Progression made in research into the relationship between bone morphogenetic protein and glycolipid metabolism
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2013;29(9):817-819
Bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) family not only plays a role in bone formation, but is also involved in metabolic disease such as obesity and diabetes. The molecular structure, signal pathways, roles of BMP in regulating glycolipid metabolism, current situation and prospects in related diseases are mainly discussed.
5.Application of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation in Stroke Patients with Upper Extremities Dysfunction (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2014;(4):306-310
Upper extremities dysfunction seriously impacted quality of life and independent self-care ability in patients after stroke. Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation has been proved to be an effective method for upper extremities dysfunction rehabilitation. Clini-cians focused to select the proper therapeutic method according to the patient's specific condition to accelerate the upper limb rehabilitation. This article summarized the clinical application researches of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation in stroke patients with upper ex-tremities dysfunction.

Objective To analyze the hepatitis B virus infected patients'B-ultrasound hepatobiliary imaging and provide a refer-ence for infection prevention and diagnosis of hepatobiliary disease in the region of Shijiazhuang. Methods In three hospitals of Shi-jiazhuang,500 cases of hepatitis B virus infected patients were enrolled in the study. All patients had intact liver function test data and hepatobiliary B-ultrasound information, and their liver function test results and hepatobiliary B-ultrasound imaging test results were analyzed. Results Among 500 cases of patients with hepatitis B virus infection,22.4% patients were with alanine aminotrans-ferase (ALT)increasing, diagnosed by using B-mold ultrasonography 5.4% patients with a liver cyst,2.2% with liver abscess,8. 4% with fatty liver,1.4% with primary liver cancer percent,1.2% with secondary liver cancer,1.0% with cirrhosis. Conclusion The liver function test of patients suffering from fatty liver, cirrhosis, liver abscess shows higher proportion of ALT increasing, which suggests that in patients with hepatitis B virus infection whose liver function tests display ALT elevations should underwent B ultrasonic examination and doctors should focuse on if the patient with cirrhosis, fatty liver or liver abscess.

International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(23):3187-3189
Objective To investigate the expression of brain-type glycogen phosphorylase(GPBB)as a new biomarker in colorec-tal carcinomas,to understand its expression timing in colorectal neoplasia and its relation with the clinical pathological parameters, and to compare it with the P53 gene. Methods 40 specimens of colorectal carcinoma and 18 specimens of colorecpal neoplasia were selected. The expression of GPBB and P53 in colorectal tumor was investigated by self-made specific anti-human GPBB antibody and P53 antibody. Results The positive expression rate of GPBB in colorectal carcinoma was 80%,which was significantly higher than that in colorectal carcinoma, moreover its expression in moderate and severe atypical hyperplasia adenoma and papillary adenoma was earlier than P53 gene expression. Conclusion GPBB is a enzyme expressed in carcinoma and precancerous lesion, therefore it may be taken as early biomarker enzyme for predicting the occurrence of colorectal carcinoma.
10. Effects of Tongluo recipe on renal function and renal expression of CTGF, RAGE, and p-ERK1/2 in rat model of type 1 diabetes mellitus
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;31(10):1086-1090
Objective: To observe the effects of Tongluo recipe on the renal expression of connective tissue growth factor (CTGF), advanced glycation end products receptor (RAGE) and phosphorylated extracellular signal regulated kinase (p-ERK1/2) in streptozotocin-induced rat model of type 1 diabetes mellitus, and to explore the mechanism of its renoprotective effect. Methods: Adult male Sprague-Dawley rats, weighing 180-220 g, were randomly divided into 2 groups: control group (A, n=10) and model group (n=50). Rat diabetic model was induced by intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (60 mg/kg body weight), and the model rats were randomly subdivided into B group (diabetic control, n=10), C group (diabetic rats treated with low dose of Tongluo recipe, 0.5 g·kg-1·d-1, n=10), D group (diabetic rats treated with medium dose of Tongluo recipe, 1.0 g·kg -1·d-1, n=10), E group (diabetic rats treated with high dose of Tongluo recipe, 2.0 g·kg-1·d-1, n=10), and F group (diabetic rats treated with losartan, 30 g·kg -1·d-1, n=10). At the end of the 12th week the rats were sacrificed and were weighed; the urea nitrogen (BUN) in blood, serum creatinine (Scr), 24 h albumin excretion rate (UPRO24), microalbuminuria (MAU) and creatinine in urine (Ucr) were analyzed by bio-chemical methods. The left kidneys were weighed and the right kidneys were subjected to real-time PCR analysis for the expression of CTGF and RAGE mRNA. Western blotting analysis was used to examine the expression of CTGF, RAGE, p-ERK1/2, and total-ERK1/2 protein expression. Results: The creatinine clearance rate, urea nitrogen, 24 h albumin excretion rate, and microalbuminuria in group D and E were significantly lower than those of group B. And the renal functions of rats in group D and E were improved and the expression of RAGE and CTGF mRNA and protein and p-ERK1/2 protein expression was significantly decreased (P<0.05). Conclusion: Tongluo recipe may exert its renoprotective effect through inhibiting RAGE-ERK1/2-CTGF signal pathway.
