Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(09):-
To find out the health need of the city population in Guangzhou and the service level of the city's medical units and to set up a public health service system to answer the need of the market e- conomy,an investigative analysis is here focused on the health state and health service need of the city's population, the allocation of the health resources and the utilization of the city's health resources,eco- nomic factors, ways of medical payment, the cultural and age composition of the population structure, and the impact of the service personnel quality on the utilization of the service. It is suggested that the government increase its fund appropriation on public health, establish neighborhood medical leagues, start medical insurance, speed up cooperative medicine in the countryside, and complete the medical se- curity system.

The transcript assembly is essential for transcriptome studies trom next-generation sequencing data. However, there are still many faults of algorithms in the present assemblers, which should be largely improved in the future. According to the requirement of reference genome or not, the transcript assembly could be classified into the genome-guided and de novo methods. The two methods have different algorithms and implementation processes. The quality of assembled transcripts depends on a large number of factors, such as the PCR amplification, sequencing techniques, assembly algorithm and genome character. Here, we reviewed the present tools of transcript assembly and various indexes for assessing the quality of assembled transcripts, which would help biologists to determine which assembler should be used in their studies.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(02):-
Multimedia teaching and SimMan,which is a portable and advanced patient simulator for team training, were used to develop a new course for the medical students of grade four. This course was named "SimMan clinical techniques training". The course of Sim-Man clinical techniques training can help students comprehend truly all kinds of cases in clinical practices, improve their capabilities of clinical thoughts and clinical techniques, and it makes fine basis for their clinical practices in the hospitals.

Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2003;0(10):-
A case of mercury-induced Baboon syndrome is reported.A 31-year-old female presented with a 2-3 day history of pruritic symmetric erythematous papules on both axillas, popliteal fossa, buttocks and groins. The patient was exposed to a broken mercury thermometer two days before the onset of the eruption.Patch testing showed that the patient was sensitive to ammoniated mercury, mercury, mercuric chloride and mercurochrome. The mercury levels in serum and full blood reached the up limit of normal value three days after the onset, and gradually decreased over time. The patient was diagnosed with Baboon syn- drome caused by mercury according to the clinical manifestation and results from laboratory studies.

Objective Human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells were transfected by Smad7 and labeled with green fluores-cent mark.BMMSCs were implanted into rabbit glaucoma operational model and observed surviving condition. Methods Through BP and LR reaction,Smad7 with green fluorescent mark was inserted into human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells by bacterio-phage,filtered positive colony and picked out cell line.15 New Zealand white rabbits were enforced trabeculectomy with BMMSC, then following up cell survival condition. Results Smad7 expressed stable in human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells with sat-isfactory green fluorescent mark.BMMSC survived in rabbit trabecula with stable green fluorescent and effective ocular press.Con-clusion Smad7 with green fluorescent mark could be inserted into human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells stably, and has ef-fective results in rabbit model.

ObjectiveTo explore the significance and the scheme of OSCE ( Objective structural clinical examination ) applied in clinical resident training and examination. MethodsOSCE were adopted to train and evaluate residents clinical skills. 180 residents were trained through OSCE for two weeks. Then a test on clinical skills of the residents by OSCE was conducted after training. 172 questionnaires of evaluation on the training effect were collected and analyzed. ResultsWith regard to the training and examination of clinical skill, 96.51% residents considered that it was helpful for clinical work, 98.26% considered that it would make their operation more standandized. ConclusionThe training through OSCE is an important way to improve and evaluate clinical skills of residents and may be widely applied.

International Eye Science 2015;(1):172-173
?AlM: To investigate the clinical characteristics and influencing factors of chronic renal failure ( CRF) patients with dry eye, and to provide clinical reference.?METHODS:Sixty-one cases (122 eyes) of patients with CRF ( CRF group ) and 61 cases ( 122 eyes ) of healthy persons ( control group) were carried out on Schirmer ▏test ( S▏t ) , break-up time of tear film ( BUT ) , corneal fluorescein staining ( FL) , test results of two groups were compared and related factors of dry eye in CRF patients were analyzed.?RESULTS: The results of S▏t and BUT in CRF group were lower than that in the control group (P<0. 05). The proportion of tear secretion reduce in CRF group ( S▏t<10mm/5min) was 49. 2% ( 60/122 ), which was higher than that in the control group ( 10. 0%, 12/122 ), the difference was statistically significant ( X2 = 45. 39, P <0. 05). The percentage of instability of tear film in CRF group (BUT≤10s) was 75. 4% (92/122), which was significantly higher than that in the control group (27. 0%, 33/122) (X2=57. 1, P<0. 05). The positive rate of corneal FL was 37. 7% (46/122), which was higher than that of the control group (10. 7%, 13/122), there was a statistically significant difference (X2= 24. 34, P<0. 05).?CONCLUSlON:CRF patients with a decrease in tear film stability and tear secretion are susceptible population to dry eye, clinically should be paid attention to the treatment.

BACKGROUND:On the basis of thorough debridement, homochronous anterior or staging posterior fixation has been a standard scheme for spinal tuberculosis. Numerous studies confirmed that above approach has obtained good effects, but the anterior approach has some disadvantages, such as complex anatomic structure, great trauma, relatively more complications, and difficult operation and fixator implantation. OBJECTIVE:To observe spinal stabilization and deformity correction in patients with single-segment thoracic/lumbar spinal tuberculosis after posterior debridement and interbody fusion. METHODS:Clinical data of 36 patients with single-segment thoracic/lumbar spinal tuberculosis undergoing one-stage posterior debridement and interbody fusion in the Guangxi Yulin Orthopedics Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from January 2008 to January 2012 were retrospectively analyzed. There were 2 cases in single T11/12 segment, 4 in T12/L1 segments, 6 in L3/4 segments, 22 in L4/5segments and 2 in L5/S1 segments. Of them, 24 patients suffered from different degrees of spinal nerve injury. At 6, 12 and 24 months after surgery, al patients were folowed up. Bone graft fusion, kyphosis correction, functional recovery of the spinal cord and complications were observed. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Al patients were folowed up for 24-38 months. Cobb angle of kyphosis and spinal stenosis rate were significantly improved at 2 years after treatment (P < 0.05). The lumbar back pain symptoms were significantly improved in final folow-up (P < 0.05), with an intervertebral fusion rate of 100%. No lesion residue and recurrence, correction loss, fixation loosening or displacement was found. These results demonstrated that in patients with single-segment thoracic/lumbar spinal tuberculosis, posterior debridement and interbody fusion can effectively reconstruct spinal stabilization, correct deformity, and promote the functional recovery of spinal nerves.
