2.Scaffold materials in tissue engineering of tendon and ligament
International Journal of Surgery 2008;35(11):760-763
Terapeutic options used to repair tendon and ligament injury consist of autografis, allografts and synthetic prostheses.Tendon and ligament of tissue engineering have their unique advantages as alternative therapy.Choosing the proper scaffold materials is important for successfully constructing tissue engineering tendon and ligament,so in this review we focus on natural and artificial scaffold materials used in tissue engineering of tendon and ligament in recent years.
3.Analysis of prognostic factors of 324 patients with multiple traumas
Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine 2008;17(11):1195-1197
Objective To explore the effective prognostic factors of patients with multiple traumas. Method During January 2003 to March 2007, totally 324 patients with multiple traumas were treated in the emergency department of Renmin Hospital, Wuhan University. The relationship between prognosis and age, visiting time after injury, injury severity score (ISS) ,main wounded part and shock degree was analyzed. The data were tested using ehi-square test and logistic regression method. Results Seventy-eight patients died and 246 patients survived, the total mortality was 24.1%. Statistical differences existed in mortalities of patients with different visiting time (visiting hospital within 1 h,16.7%; visiting hospital beyond 1h, 37.4%),ISS (16≤ISS≤24, 5.7%; 25≤ISS≤40, 19.2%; IS8>40, 41.3%) and shock degree (non-shock, 11.8%; mild shock, 13.6%; moderate shock,27.7%; severe shock,46.9% ) ( P<0.01). There were no significant difference in mortalities among patients with different age (<18, 23.8% ; 18~38, 21.7% ; 38~58, 24.2% ;>58, 32.5% ) and with various main wounded part (head, 26.0%; neck, 25.3%; chest, 27.3%; abdomen, 24.1%; limbs, spine and pelvis,16.3%), P>0.05. Logistic regression study showed that mortality increased with postponed visiting time after injury, augment of ISS and aggravation of shock degree, with the exception that there was no differenoe in mortality of patients with between non-shock and mild shock. Conclusions Visiting time after injury, ISS and shock degree were valuable progrostic predictors for multiple traumas. It's vital to follow principle of damage controlled surgery and emphasis on the timeliness and integrity of medical rescue and control shock actively to reduce mortality of patients with multiple injuries.
4.Progress on ventilator-induced lung injury and lung protective ventilation strategies in pediatric patients
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2015;(8):743-746
Ventilator-induced lung injury is a serious complication of mechanical ventilation. At present a lot of researches have explored lung protective ventilation strategies to prevent and treat ventilator associated lung injury in adult. But researches on children are relatively rare. This article reviewed the pathophysiological mechanisms of pediatric ventilator-induced lung inju-ry and the clinical application of lung protective ventilation strategies in children.
5.The Development of Research on the Carboplatin Polymer System
Journal of Kunming Medical University 2001;22(1):100-102,107
Glioma is the most common tumor in craniocerebra l neoplasms. It is hard to deal with for every neurosurgery not the difficulty o f operation, but the poor outcome. Many efforts was made in this area include ne w drugs in chemotherapy; intratumoral radiation, stereostatic radioneurosurgery in neuroradiation, and the new strategy of operation direct to tumor. Local intratumoral implants carried by biodegradable polymer provide a new promising approach for more selective and less neurotoxic in chemotherapy. The polymer microsphere carried with carboplatin is much powerful to glioma in vitro and in vivo. The disadvantages of carboplatin during delivery systemically disappeared.
6.Analysis of JI Wei's Experience in Treating Ankylosing Spondylitis
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2017;41(6):502-505
[Objective] To discuss Professor JI Wei's clinical experience in treating ankylosing spondylitis.[Methods] To expound Professor JI Wei's academic thoughts and clinical experience in ankylosing spondylitis from aspects of etiology, pathogenesis, and syndrome differentiation and treatment variation, summarizing the characteristics of her prescriptions and ways of treatment as well as exemplifying them. [Results] Professor JI Wei believes that the basic pathogenesis of this disease is kidney deficiency and governor vessel vacuity, with wind, coldness, dampness, heat, phlegm, and blood stasis obstructing channels and collaterals. In her opinion, the major task of the early- and middle-term of this disease is to dispel wind and eliminate dampness and to alleviate impediment and free the vessels, and that of the late-term is to supplement the kidney and reinforce the governor vessel and to transform phlegm and disperse blood stasis. When treating the disease,we should correlate all four examinations, differentiating carefully the primary from the secondary, paying attention to the unique use of aconitum, monkshood, triptolide and other toxic drugs,as well as the black snake, scorpion, centipede and other animal medicinals, and attaching importance to ankylosing spondylitis complicated with inflammatory bowel disease ,treatment of uveitis and syndrome. [Conclusion] Professor JI Wei's clinical experience in treating ankylosing spondylitis is effective and worthy of wide application.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2005;0(06):-
To solve the problems occurring in Ophthalmologic clinical teaching,we made a detailed investigation on the idea, mode as well as the application of specific methods for ophthalmologic clinical teaching. Then we raised a further proposition compatible with the social environment in order to improve the efficiency and quality of ophthalmologic clinical teaching.
9.Analysis of protoscoleces-specific antigens from Echinococcus granulosus with proteomics combined with Western blot.
Biomedical and Environmental Sciences 2012;25(6):718-723
OBJECTIVETo establish and optimize the proteomic analysis of protoscoleces-specific antigens from Echinococcus granulosus. To provide a foundation for identifying specific antigens in the soluble proteins of E. granulosus protoscoleces for further research.
METHODSBrood capsules were collected aseptically from fertile E. granulosus cysts from the livers of an infected patient. The fertile E. granulosus cysts were fractured, and protoscoleces were collected by centrifugation. The soluble proteins of protoscoleces were acquired using the 2D Quant kit according to the manufacturer's instructions. We employed two-dimensional electrophoresis (2-DE) combined with immunoblot assay (Western blot) to analyze the soluble components of E. granulosus protoscoleces antigens. The 2-DE and immunoblot maps obtained were analyzed with PDQuest 8.0 image analysis software.
RESULTSAbout 233 soluble protein spots were identified with Coomassie-stained gels. Most of the proteins had a molecular weight of 16,000 Da to 117,000 Da, and an isoelectric point value of 3.0 to 10.0. 2-DE immunoblot was conducted and 57 specific antigen spots were observed, among which 23 spots were identified.
CONCLUSION2-DE combined with Western blot is the key to successful proteomic analysis and presents a new possibility for searching the specific E. granulosus protoscoleces antigens.
