Objective To investigate the signal mechanism of protein kinase C alpha(PKC-α)participated in enhanced expression of type Ⅰ inositol 1,4,5-trisphophate receptors (IP3 RI) induced by tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNFα),in order to delineate the mechanisms of decreased glomerular filtration rate (GFR) in hepatorenal syndrome caused by TNFα.Methods The glomerular mesangial cells (GMCs)line from rats was chosen as experimental material.GMCs were divided into control (D),TNFα-2 h,TNFα-4 h,TNFα-8 h,and TNFα-24 h groups.Moreover,another two groups were sanflngol-8h (S),TNFα + Sanfingol-8h(TS)groups.The effect of TNFα on the expression of IP3RI was detected by immunocytochemical staining,Western blotting,teal time-polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assays.Results Immunocytochemical staining demonstrated that IP3 RI was mainly distributed in cytoplasm of GMCs.Enhanced positive staining was determined in all TNFα-treated groups,especially in TNFα-8 h group.Western blotting demonstrated that the expression of IP3RI protein was significantly higher in TNFα-4 h,TNFα-8h and TNFα-24 h groups than control group(4 h:1.82 ± 0.63 ; 8 h:2.95 ± 0.66 ; 24 h:2.48 ± 0.72 ; D:1 ±0.02 ; F =9.24,P ＜ 0.05).The expression of IP3 RI protein was the highest in TNFα-8 h and TNFα-24 h groups(P ＜0.05).No difference was found among S,TS,and control groups(S:1.39 ±0.65; TS:1.35± 0.37 ; P ＞ 0.05).Real time-PCR found the expression of IP3 RImRNA was significantly higher in all TNFα-treated groups than control group(2 h:3.35 ± 1.97; 4 h:3.16 ± 1.35; 8 h:3.70 ± 1.76; 24 h:4.49±1.70; D:1 ±0.01; F =6.167,P ＜0.05).No difference was found among all TNFα-treated groups(P ＞0.05).No difference was found among S,TS,and control groups(S:1.53 ±0.79; TS:1.32 ± 0.38 ; P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions IP3 RI was mainly distributed in cytoplasm of GMCs.TNFa could enhance the expression of IP3 RI protein and IP3 RI mRNA,which could be blocked by sanfingol,a PKCα inhibitor.It might be an important signal in the mechanisms of GFR decrease caused by TNFα in hepatorenal syndrome.

Objective To evaluate the feasibilities and advantages of different concentrations of sodium alginate (SA) solutions as a submucosal injection solution for endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). Methods In vitro study, different concentrations of sodium alginate solutions and normal saline were injected into submucosal of resected porcine esophagus and stomach respectively, then observe and measure the heights of each injection induced mucosal elevations, and their changes over time. In vivo study, the mimic ESD were conducted in healthy pigs to evaluate the mucosal elevation effect and other assistant effects of sodium alginate as a submucosal injection solution. Results The elevation heights of the experiment groups injected with SA solutions were much higher than the control group injected with normal saline. Specially, the elevation created by 1 % SA in porcine esophagus was significantly higher than that of normal saline (P < 0.01) and the elevation created by 3 % SA was significantly higher than that of normal saline in porcine stomach (P < 0.001). In the mimic ESD experiment, mucosal elevation with clear margin occurred immediately after injection with SA solution. And the durable submucosal fluid cushion created by SA protected deeper tissues while facilitating ESD procedure. Conclusion The elevation heights created by SA solutions were greater and more durable than that created by normal saline, which were crucial for ESD. The viscosity property enabled SA to form a stable protective cushion and prevent bleeding by squeezing tissue around the wound, which may decrease perforation and bleeding rate during ESD procedure. Therefore, sodium alginate can be an ideal clinical submucosal injection solution.

Experiment teaching is a most important item of college teaching, and plays a vital and unexchangeable role to train students for their ability to practice and to innovate. To construct a feasible and scientific examination system of experiment teaching, will significantly help deepen the reformation of experiment teaching and improve the teaching quality. So according to the request for cultivating qualified ap- plication person, we preliminarily constitute the valuation system throughout the whole course and in the final, of theoretic examination and practice examination, and combined with students’ self-valuation and valuation from teachers. In fact, the system works well with a perfect effect.

Objective To investigate the MRI features of intracranial solitary fibrous tumors/hemangiopericytomas (SFT/HPC),and to compare these findings with those of intracranial meningiomas.Methods The clinical features and MRI findings in 28 patients of intracranial SFT/HPC (SFT/HPC group)and 68 patients of meningiomas (meningiomas group) confirmed by operation and pathology were retrospectively analyzed.The indicators of two groups were compared.Results Shape of tumor,signal homogeneous,signal voids of vessel in tumor,hypointense signal nodules on T2WI and enhanded,cystic or necrosis in tumor,meningeal tail sign,changes of the nearby bone,sex,Ki-67％ level,blood lose in surgery had significant differences between SFT/HPC group and meningiomas group (all P＜0.05).Conclusion There are some differences between intracranial SFT/HPC and meningiomas.It is helpful in diagnosis and differential diagnosis through the comparative analysis of the imaging signs.

Objective:To explore the efficacy and safety of Rasburicase therapy in critically ill children su-ffering from advanced Burkitt′s lymphoma.Methods:A retrospective analysis of children with advanced Burkitt′s lymphoma was admitted to Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University, from January 2015 to May 2020 and accepted treatment.According to the uric acid-lowering therapies, patients were divided into 2 groups, namely Rasburicase group (Group R) and traditional treatment group (Group T), to compare the effects of hypouricemic treatment and the prognosis between the 2 groups.Results:Twenty-nine children with advanced Burkitt′s lymphoma were included in this study, with 13 cases (44.83%) of stage Ⅲ and 16 cases (55.17%) of stage Ⅳ.Abdominal mass/ abdominal distension (13 cases, 44.83%) and abdominal pain (7 cases, 24.14%) were the main reasons of initial medical visit attendance.The most common primary tumor site was abdominal/ pelvic cavity (21 cases, 72.41%), followed by head or neck (6 cases, 20.69%). There were 15 cases in Group R and 14 cases in group T. No significant differences in serum creatinine, lactate dehydrogenase and uric acid were detected between the 2 groups (all P>0.05). The proportion of serum uric acid recovery rate of 24 hours and 72 hours after initial treatment in Group R were significantly higher than those in T group (85.71% vs.25.00%, 100.00% vs.25.00%, all P<0.01). Although there were no obvious differences in the incidence of tumor lysis syndrome between the 2 groups (33.33% vs.64.29%, P=0.096), the incidence of acute renal injury, renal replacement therapy requirement, serious complications and the 28 day mortality in Group R were remarkably lower than those in Group T (33.33% vs.85.71%, 13.33% vs.64.29%, 20.00% vs.78.57%, 0 vs.35.71%, all P< 0.05). Conclusions:Rasburicase can effectively reduce the serum uric acid level and decrease the incidence of acute kidney injury and other severe complications, thus improving the prognosis of children experiencing advanced Burkitt′s lymphoma.

To study the association between penetration enhancement effect of essential oils and drug properties of traditional Chinese medicines. Through literature research, 34 kinds of essential oils with the penetration enhancement effect were collected. The methods of frequency analysis and variable crosstab were used for intuitive analysis and association analysis. The association between penetration enhancement effect of essential oils and drug properties (four natures, five flavors, channel tropism) were analyzed by a general linear model. According to the findings, the essential oils with penetration enhancement effect were all sourced from acrid traditional Chinese medicines, because their positive drug nature contributed to the enhancement of the penetration effect of essential oil; five flavors had little effect on penetration enhancement (P = 0.6982), but four natures and channel tropism showed significant effects (P = 0.011, 0.077). In conclusion, there were obvious association and regularity between penetration enhancement effect of essential oils and drug properties of traditional Chinese medicine.

Objective To investigate the choroidal thickness (CT) in patient (＞ 50 years old) with central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) compared to age-matched healthy controls.Methods Together 25 (＞ 50 years old) patients with CSC from January 2016 to January 2017 were enrolled in these study.Of 25 patients,20 patients were affected unilaterally and 5 patients were affected bilaterally.These patients were divided into affected eye group (30 eyes) and unaffected fellow eye group (19 eyes).Addition 26 age-matched healthy subjects were recruited as control group (26 eyes).Enhanced depth imaging technique of optical coherence tomography (EDI-OCT) was used to measure the choriodial thickness at 5 sites,including subfovea and 500 μm,1500 μm temporal and nasal to the fovea.Results The mean age of patients with CSC was (60.08 ± 7.68) years.The subfoveal choroid thickness of both affected eye group and unaffected fellow eye group was significantly thicker than that of the control group [(414.17 ±85.88)pan vs.(352.89 ±97.22) μn vs.(280.69 ±90.99) pau] (both P ＜0.05).In the patients with monocular affected eyes,the subfoveal choroid thickness of the affected eyes was thicker than that of the fellow eyes [(414.07 ± 85.88) μm vs.(352.89 ± 97.22) μm] (P ＜ 0.05).There were significant differences in choriodal thickness at other sites in the three groups (all P ＜ O.05).Conclusion The choriodal thickness in patients with CSC at over 50 years of age is significantly thicker than that in the agematched healthy subjects,with subfoveal choroid thickness ＞ 400 μm,which is helpful for the differential diagnosis of elderly patients with macular serous retinal detachment.

OBJECTIVETo predict part of medicinal properties of traditional Chinese medicine components and traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces by using the traditional Chinese medicinal property data prediction platform, in order to establish the relationship between properties of traditional Chinese medicine components and traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces.

METHODThe properties of traditional Chinese medicine components were predicted by using the medicinal property data prediction platform based on the pharmacological effects of the components.

RESULTThe total sum of identical or similar results of the prediction for the properties of traditional Chinese medicine components and traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces accounted for over 75%.

CONCLUSIONThe self-similarity exists between properties of traditional Chinese medicine components and traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces, which reflects the inheritance, additivity and emergence among different properties of traditional Chinese medicines.

Objective To determine the relationship between abnormal blood glucose and lipid levels and body mass index in patients with chronic respiratory diseases. Methods This research was conducted in Urumqi baseline survey population from "Xinjiang multi-ethnic cohort study" in which patients with chronic bronchitis, emphysema and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) were screened.The patients were defined as angular, normal, overweight, obesity groups according to body mass index (BMI), and were compared with blood levels of lipid and glucose, and rate of abnormal metabolism. Results A total of 6 046 subjects were included in the 2018 Urumqi cohort study, including 545 patients with chronic respiratory diseases.The prevalence of chronic respiratory diseases in different age groups and at different physical activity levels was different, and the prevalence of emaciation group was significantly higher than that of the other three groups.However, there were no statistically significant differences among people with different genders, nationalities, educational levels and whether they smoked or not.There were statistically significant differences in fasting glucose, serum cholesterol (TC) and serum high-density lipoprotein (HDL) levels among respiratory patients with different BMI (P < 0.05).The detection rates of hyperglycemia, high TG and low HDL increased with the increase of BMI.The result of multi-factor analysis showed that blood glucose, TG and HDL were the influencing factors of BMI. Conclusion Increase of body mass index in patients with chronic respiratory diseases is associated with abnormal glucose and lipid metabolism, which is not significantly different from that in patients with non-respiratory diseases.However, the body mass index and nutritional status of patients with long-term diseases should be closely monitored, and timely intervention measures should be taken to delay the disease process.
