International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2015;(1):60-61
Objective To make the detection results of the different automated hematology analyzers in laboratory to be reliable and comparable. Methods With the Beckman Coulter LH750 after calibration as the reference instrument, the fresh whole blood was extracted from the patient and divided into 3 equal parts after mixing evenly. The first part was determined the target value in the LH750 instrument;the second part was used to calibrate the HMX and ABX PENTRA 60 instruments and the third part served as a calibration validation. After calibration, the fresh whole blood of patient was performed the detection for conducting the accuracy evaluation. Results After calibration, the detection results of RBC,HGB,WBC,HCT,MCV and PLT by each instrument were largely improved and the error of the results was less than 1/3 of CLIA′88 requirements. Conclusion Adopting fresh whole blood for calibrating the hematology analyzer is feasible.
2.Ocular biometric characteristics of acute and chronic primary angle-closure glaucoma in Chinese patients
Journal of Central South University(Medical Sciences) 2014;(4):333-337
Objective: To compare the ocular parameters of acute angle closure glaucoma (AACG) and chronic angle closure glaucoma (CACG). Methods: Totally 106 patients with primary angle closure glaucoma were recruited: 58 patients with AACG and 48 with CACG. All patients were divided into 3 groups: AACG attack eyes group, AACG uninvolved fellow eyes group and CACG group and underwent the same ophthalmic examinations, comprising optometry, keratometry, and A-scan ultrasonography. The lens/axial length factor (LAF) and relative lens position (RLP) were calculated. Results: The AACG attack eyes had a significant shallow anterior chamber depth, thick lens, short axial length and larger LAF. hTere tended to be a reduction in the percentage of LAF>0.20 in AACG attack eyes, CACG eyes and AACG uninvolved fellow eyes, though there were no statistically signiifcant difference in all groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: The eyes with AACG attack have a more crowded anterior chamber structure compared with uninvolved fellow eyes and eyes with CACG.

5.Expression of Th1/Th2 cytokine and T lymphocyte subset in rat allogenic corneal transplantation with organcultured graft
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2012;30(2):121-126
BackgroundAllogenic immunological rejection is still the common cause of keratoplasty failure.Organ culture is a good choice for gradually attenuating corneal antigeniciy. However, the complicated regulatory mechanism of such allogenic rejection with organ culture gratts is unclear until now.ObjectiveTo investigate the changes of several Thl/Th2 cytokines and T lymphocyte subsets in the rat corneal allogenic transplantation rejection with organ culture grafts.MethodsThirty-six SPF Wistar rats served as donors, and 72 SPF SD rats served as recipients in this study.Seventy-two SD rats were divided into two groups randomly.Organ culture and fresh grafts from Wistar rats were performed on 36 recipients SD rats, respectively.Six normal SD rats were served as the normal control. After transplantation, graft survival time was observed ; Aqueous humor levels of IL-2,IFN-γ,IL-4 and TNF-α were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay.Immunohistochemistry was performed to examine CD25 expressions in grafts.Levels of TNF-αmRNA,IFN-γmRNA,IL-4mRNA and CD25mRNA in grafts were detected by using reverse transcription polymerase chain reagction. The levels of CD28subsets in peripheralblood were determined by Flow Cytometry. The use of experimental animals followed the Statement of ARVO.Results The mean rat graft survival time was longer in the organ culture grafts group( 13.78 d) than that with fresh gratts( 10.56 d)(t=14.945,P =0.000 ).The aqueous humor levels of IL-2,IFN-γ,IL-4 and TNF-α were higher in two allograft groups at day 6,day 13 and day 24 after transplantation than that in the normal control, which peaked at day 13,and the fresh grafts group had the highest level( F=324.891,416.416,240.661,364.533,P=0.000).At day 13,CD25 was weakly expressed in frozen section of two operation groups. The expression of TNF-α and IFN-γmRNA in organ culture grafts group was markedly less than in fresh grafts group at day 13 after surgeries (t =2.464,P =0.039;t=5.438,P=0.001 ),whereas there was no significient difference in IL-4 and CD25 mRNA levels between them (t=-0.782,P =0.457,t =0.712,P =0.497).The percentages of CD28 of the fresh graft group increased significantly and more weakly expressed in organ culture grafts group (P =0.016 ). Conclusions Th1/Th2 cytokines and CD28 lymphocyte subsets may play important roles during corneal allograft rejection with organ culture grafts.
6.Effects of Mosapride Combined with Acupressure at Selected Time and Psychotherapy on Constipation-predominant of Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2006;0(02):-
[Objective]To evaluate the effects of mosapride combined with acupressure at selected time and psychotherapy on constipation-predominant of irritable bowel syndrome.[Methods]A total of 86 patients with constipation-predominant of irritable bowel syndrome(C-BS) randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group(n=43) and the control group(n=43). Every patient in the study was diagnosed C-BS according to Rome II criteria. Patients in control group took mosapride (5mg,tid) and in treatment group acupressure at selected time and psychotherapy were givn besides mosapride.[Results]The total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.0%,which was superior to that of the control group(60.5%)(P
7.Effects of Stimulation of Wind, Cold and Dampness on Metabolism of Oxygen Free Radical and Prostaglandin in Cervical Muscle and Blood in Rabbits
Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1992;0(08):-
In order to probe into effect of stimulation of wind, cold and Sdampness to the cervical part on oxygen free radical and prostaglandins, 24 rabbits were randomly assigned to control group and wind - cold - Sdampness group, head - lowering group and combined model group, 6 rabbits in each group, and changes of superoxide dismutase (SOD),lipid hyperoxide (LPO), prostanglandin E2 (PGE2), 6 -keto -PGF1a in affected local region and blood were observed. Results indicated that the commonly - seen pathogenetic factors of cervical spondylopathy such as wind, cold , dampness and lowering head might cause aspetic inflammation of the cervical part and abnormality of SOD, LPO, PGE2 and 6 - keto - PGF1a in affected local tissue and blood, and abnormal metabolism of oxygen free radical and prostagnadins might be one of important mechanisms of cervical spondylopathy induced by wind, cold and dampness.
