Objective To explore themethod for the objective evaluation of single lim b function after in-jury in forensic m edical practice. Methods The score of activities of daily living (ADL ) w ere graded for a single lim b function after injury from 47 cases.Allcases w ere sim ultaneously evaluated using the differentmethods including Fugl-M eyer m otor function assessm ent (FM A ), w eighting, look-up table (LUT). The correlation w ere com pared betw een ADL and the other threemethods. Results Injured part and the score using the threemethods w ere correlated w ith ADL score (P<0.05). The correlation coeffi-cient (|r| value) show ed highest using LUTmethod, and low est using FM Amethod. Conclusion The loss function of lim b is affected by the injuried parts. Themethods of FM A , w eighting and LUTshow a good accuracy for evaluating the lim b function after injury and the correlation presents higher using LUTmethod.

Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of domestic and imported losartan on patients with reversal hypertension left ventricular hypertrophy ( LVH). Methods 118 patients with reversal hypertension left ventricular hypertrophy were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group of 60 cases were treated by oral domestic losartan and the control group of 58 cases were received oral valsartan imports. The dose was 80mg once day with 6 months for a course of treatment. Before and after treatment, we observed the blood pressure, left ventricular hypertrophy changes in echocardiographic parameters and to monitor the blood, urine routine, liver and kidney function and other indicators,and to record adverse reactions. Results Two groups had lowering blood pressure effect. It was significant difference between before and after treatment( P 0.05 ). Conclusion Domestic and imported valsartan can lower blood pressure in the treatment of reversal hypertension left ventricular hypertrophy, and reverse LVH, without affecting heart rate,and at the same time with fewer adverse reactions.

Objective: To observe the efficacy and safety of Xuebijing combined with bronchoalveolar lavage in the adjunctive therapy of severe pulmonary infection.Methods: Totally 110 patients with severe pulmonary infection were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group according to the admission odd or even number with 55 ones in each.The control group was treated with bronchial lavage on the basis of the conventional therapy.The observation group was treated with Xuebijing combined with bronchoalveolar lavage.The treatment efficacy and adverse reactions were observed, and the degree of lung infection and prognosis were evaluated by the clinical application of pulmonary infection score (CPIS) and acute physiology and chronic health Ⅱ (APACHE-Ⅱ) before and after the treatment.The treatment time or symptom improvement time was recorded, and the serum levels of inflammatory cytokines before and after the treatment were detected.Results: The effective rate of the observation group was 60.00%, which was higher than that of the control group (43.64%, P<0.05).CPIS and APACHE-Ⅱ scores in both groups decreased after the treatment, and those of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).The levels of procalcitonin (PCT), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in both groups decreased after the treatment, and those of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).The time of mechanical ventilation, infection control window appearance and respiratory failure correction, pulmonary inflammation disappearance and antibiotics application of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group (P<0.05).The adverse reactions in the two groups showed no statistically significant differences(P>0.05).Conclusion: Xuebijing combined with bronchoalveolar lavage shows better clinical efficacy in the adjunctive therapy of severe pulmonary infection with improved prognosis, shorter treatment time, decreased levels of inflammatory factors and promising security.

Objective:To develop an LC-MS/ MS method for the analysis of 17 memory-enhancing drugs illegally added in tradi-tional Chinese medicines(TCM)and health foods. Methods:The method involved liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/ MS),and the separation was conducted on an Eclipse XDB C18 column(100 mm × 3. 0 mm,1. 8 μm). The 17 memory-en-hancing drugs illegally added in traditional Chinese medicines and health foods were analyzed by LC-MS/ MS with electrospray ioniza-tion(ESI)and multiple reactions monitoring(MRM). Results:A fast LC-MS/ MS method for the simultaneous screening of 17 illegal-ly added chemical components was described with the LOD below 10 ng·ml - 1 . Conclusion:The method is selective and sensitive in the detection of memory-enhancing drugs illegally added in traditional Chinese medicines and health foods.

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy and the effects on serum inflammatory factors of carbocisteine and budes-onide in the treatment of asthma. Methods:Totally 186 asthma patients were randomly divided into the observation group (93 cases) and the control group (93 cases). The control group received budesonide combined with the conventional treatment, the observation group was treated with carbocisteine and budesonide, and one week was a treatment course. The efficacy was observed. The airway re-sponsiveness and cough condition was respectively assessed by early respiratory resistance ( Rrsc) and Leicester cough questionnaire ( LCQ) . The improvement of day and night symptoms was observed, and the serum levels of inflammatory factors and the safety were also evaluated. Results:LCQ score of the observation group after the treatment was significantly higher than that of the control group, Rrsc score for day and night symptoms and serum IL-8, TNF-αand IgE levels were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0. 05). The effective rate of the observation group was 86. 02%, which was high-er than that of the control group (77. 42%), while the difference was not statistically significant (P>0. 05). The difference in the in-cidence of ADR between the groups was not statistically significant (P>0. 05). Conclusion: Carbocisteine and budesonide in the treatment of asthma can significantly improve asthma symptoms and reduce cough and inflammatory cytokines with promising safety.

Objective To investigate the causes of death, the trend of mortality of main diseases, change of disease spectrum of residents in Zhongshan Torch Development Zone during 2009 to 2013 so as to work out strategies and measures for prevention and treatment of diseases.Methods The data of death causes of residents in the zone based on international disease classifications, ICD-10 were statistically treated with DeathReg 2005 software.Re-sults The residents′deaths in the zone were increasing year after year from 2009 to 2013.The first five leading cau-ses of deaths were:circulatory diseases, respiratory diseases, malignant tumor, injuries and poisoning, and digestive diseases.The mortality on circulatory diseases was 0.327 8%among which cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disea-ses resulted in the highest mortality.The mortality from respiratory diseases was 0.064 1%, among which chronic ob-structive pulmonary disease resulted in the highest mortality.The death rate from malignant tumors was 0.142 5%, a-mong which lung cancer resulted in the highest mortality.The mortality from injuries and poisoning was 0.023 4%, among which traffic accidents resulted in the highest mortality.The death rate of digestive diseases was 0.021 2%, a-mong which cirrhosis combined with upper gastrointestinal bleeding resulted in the highest mortality.Conclusion The residents in the zone mainly die from chronic diseases such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and the death rate of chronic cor pulmonale in the circulatory disease ranks on the top.Owing to the population aging, the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases have become the major non-communicable chronic diseases ( NCD) en-dangering health of the elderly population.

Objective To explore the role of comfortable nursing in patients with malignant tumor undergoing chemotherapy and the quality of life and satisfaction degree in patients after chemotherapy. Methods 100 patients with malignant tumor undergoing chemotherapy were divided randomly into the observation group and the control group(each had 50 cases). The observation group took the comfortable nursing, the control group was applied with the traditional nursing method, their comfort degree,satisfaction degree and life quality after chemotherapy were observed and compared. Results Comparing the results of two groups of patients, the satisfaction degree of the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, the scores of life quality for the observation group and the control group were (45.2±5.1 ) and (34.1 ±4.6) respectively. Conclusions Comfortable nursing for patients with malignant tumor undergoing chemotherapy may improve their comfort degree, satisfaction degree and life quality, and hence is worthy of being recommended in clinical practice.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of potting net capsule combined with antibiotics in the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.MethodsThe clinical data of 156 patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease admitted from October 2013 to October 2016 were retrospectively analyzed.The patients were randomly divided into control group (n=77) and observation group (n=79).Routine antibiotic therapy and Pelvic acid net capsule combined with antibiotic therapy.The changes of TCM syndromes and treatment efficiency and the level of serum inflammatory factors were observed, and the incidence of adverse reactions was observed and compared.ResultsAfter treatment, the scores of TCM syndromes were evaluated and compared between the two groups.There were significant differences between the two groups.The scores of the control group were significantly higher than those in the observation group (P<0.05).The treatment group was 93.67%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group (72.73%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There were no significant differences in CRP, TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-1β levels between the two groups before and after treatment.After different treatment, the two groups were compared (P<0.05), and there was significant difference between the two groups after treatment.There were statistically significant differences between the two groups after treatment.The observation group was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05).There were no adverse reactions in both groups.ConclusionThe treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease with conventional antibiotic therapy combined with pelvic inflammatory capsule can improve the clinical symptoms, reduce the inflammatory level and improve the therapeutic effect.It is a safe and effective treatment program.

Objective:To study the feasibility of the determination of ephedrine hydrochloride in Tongxuan Lifei pills by acceler-ated solvent extraction ( ASE) combined with QuEChERS purification, and compare the results with those of the extraction method in Chinese Pharmacopoeia. Methods: The extraction efficiency of ephedrine hydrochloride in Tongxuan Lifei pills determined by HPLC was used as the evaluation index, and the operation parameters of ASE were optimized by orthogonal experiments. Results: The opti-mum conditions of ASE for the determination of ephedrine hydrochloride in Tongxuan Lifei pills were as follows:the samples were defat-ted by n-hexane ( the extraction temperature was 80℃, the static extraction time was 5 min for one cycle, and the flush volume was 100%. ) ,and then methanol was used as the extraction solvent for the extraction of ephedrine hydrochloride ( the extraction temperature was 80℃,the static extraction time was 8 min for three cycles) ,in the end, the impurities were purified by PSA purifying agent. Using the optimized ASE method to extract ephedrine hydrochloride in Tongxuan Lifei pills, the extraction time was reduced to 40 minutes with less interference, and compared with that of the method in Chinese Pharmacopoeia, the determination of the relative standard devi-ation was less than 5%. Conclusion:The ASE technique combined with QuEChERS purification is simple, quick and effective,and it can be used as the pretreatment method for the determination of ephedrine hydrochloride in Tongxuan Lifei pills.

BACKGROUND:Compared with the conventional composite resin materials, large pieces of filing composite resin materials have the features of increasing light-curing depth, decreasing the polymerization shrinkage rate and streamlining operational procedures; however, the properties of different types of large pieces of filing composite resin materials are different. OBJECTIVE:To analyze the hardness and bond strength of four kinds of composite resin materials. METHODS: Large pieces of filing composite resin Tetric EvoCeram Bulk Fil, SDR, as wel as conventional composite resin P60, Z350 were obtained. The vickers microhardness of these four kinds of composite resin materials under the light-curing depth of 2, 3, 4, 5 mm was detected. The shear bond strength between these four kinds of composite resin materials and the dentin was also detected. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The hardness order under different light-curing depths was: P60 composite resin > Z350 composite resin > Tetric EvoCeram BulkFil composite resin > SDR composite resin, there was a significant difference between these four groups (P < 0.05). The light-cured hardness of Tetric EvoCream BulkFil and SDR composite resins was not significantly decreased with the increased cured depth. The shear bond strength of Tetric EvoCeram BulkFil and SDR composite resins was significantly higher compared with the P60 and Z350 composite resins (P < 0.05). These results demonstrate that large pieces of filing resinous materials, Tetric EvoCeram BulkFil and SDR, show better comprehensive mechanical properties and have a higher shear bond strength.
