1.Progress on children traumatic cerebral infarction

There are many causes of children cerebral infarction, including cerebrovascular malformation,autoimmune cerebrovascular phlogistic, infection, trauma and the high state of blood coagulation. Because the brain development is not mature, the children is the high-risk group of traumatic cerebral infarction. The early diagnosis of traumatic cerebral infarctions relies on the dynamic performance of the clinical observation, taking head CT or MRI quickly, especially diffusion-weighted imaging, which is more sensitive on the judgement of acute cerebral infarction period. Common sites of traumatic cerebral infarction are basal ganglia. The infarcts are usually small. Treatment on traumatic cerebral infarction must give priority to non-operation. Early diagnosis and prompt treatment can provide better prognosis than adults.
2.The Effect of ProstaglandinF_(2a) (PGF_(2a)) in the Blood Plasma and Interleukin-1?(IL-1?) in the Blood Serum of Endometriosis in the Rats Treated with Complex Prescription Dragon’s Blood Plaster

[Objective] To optimize the exact preparative technique of complex prescription Dragon’s Blood Plaster(DBP),to evaluate the therapeutic effect to endometriosis rats with acupoint therapy and to discuss its probable mechanism.[Methods] Making into DBP through the preparation of ultra-fine powder,extraction of the volatile oils and their ointments were made as well.Induced by surgery for the experimental endometriosis ,observed that the levels of PGF2a in the blood plasma and IL-1? in the blood serum in different control groups.[Results] Complex prescription DBP could inhibit the ectopic endometrium hyperplasic ,and decrease the levels of PGF2a.No significant difference in IL-1? in the blood serum.[Conclusion]The treatment by acupoint therapy with complex prescription DBP is effective to endometriosis.It could inhibit the ectopic endometrium hyperplasic and promote the shrinking of glands.
3.Apoptosis Expression-based Pattern Recognition System of Four Properties of Chinese Materia Medica——Panax quinque folium vs. Panax ginseng in Drug Property against MPP~+-induced Apoptosis of SH-SY5Y Cells

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of water extract of Panax quinque folium(WEAG,of cool property)and Panax ginseng(WERG,of warm property)on MPP+-induced apoptosis of SH-SY5Y cells.METHODS:SH-SY5Y cells were divided into 4 groups:the control group was cultured in complete medium,model group was cultured with 0.5 mmol MPP+;Panax quinque folium group was treated with 0.5 mmol MPP+ plus different concentration of WEAG,and Panax ginseng group was treated with 0.5 mmol MPP+ and different concentration of WERG concomitantly.WEAG and WERG were added for intervention.the morphology of SH-SY5Y cells was observed by Hoechst33258 staining and the apoptotic rate was detected by FCM;the cell survival rate was measured by MTT chromatometry.RESULTS:Compared with model group,WEAG and WERG markedly reversed the apoptotic characteristics of SH-SY5Y cells,markedly up-regulated MTT value and lowered the apoptotic rate,with WERG showing more potent efficacy than WEAG doing.CONCLUSION:Water extracts of both Panax quinque folium(cool)and Panax ginseng(warm)pose protective effects of different degree against MPP+-induced apoptosis of SH-SY5Y cells,with the Chinese materia medica of warm property showing more potent action against apoptosis.Chinese materia medicas of different drug property have different anti-apoptotic action.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of water extracts of Panax ginseng(warm),dry P.ginseng(mild),P.quinque folium(cool) on the apoptosis of SH-SY5Y cells induced by ?-amyloid protein(A?25-35).METHODS:SH-SY5Y cells were treated with A?25-35 to simulate the pathologic neuronic damage model in patients with Alzheimer's disease,and then treated with different doses of water extracts of P.ginseng(WERG),dry P.ginseng(WEG)or P.quinque folium(WEAG).The morphologic changes of the SH-SY5Y cells were observed by inverted microscope.Cell survival rate was measured by MTT assay.The percentage of apoptosis and the expression of Bax and Bcl-2 proteins were detected by Western Blotting.RESULTS: After treatment with A?25-35 50 ?mol?L-1 for 72 hours,SH-SY5Y cells became more round and aggregated and the cell survival rate was significantly reduced(P
5.The treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease by point injection of spleen ;polypeptides

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of point injection of spleen polypeptides in the treat-ment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Methods Totally 60 patients with AECOPD were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,30 cases in each group.Based on conventional treatment,the observation group was treated by point injection of spleen polypeptides,4ml for each time, 1 time a day;and the control group was given equivalent volume of spleen polypeptides by intramuscular injection.The treatment lasted two weeks.The clinical efficacy,PCT,inflammatory and ADRs of patients in the two groups were observed.Results In 7 days of treatment,the clinical efficacy was 87% in the observation group,which was better than 60% of the control group (χ2 =5.45,P=0.019).PCT,interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-8),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF -α)of the observation group and the control group were (1.84 ±1.48)ng/mL and (2.21 ±1.75)ng/mL,(32.54 ±6.62)ng/L and (38.94 ±5.69)ng/L,(31.51 ±6.03)ng/L and (36.75 ± 7.95)ng/L,(45.90 ±4.40)ng/L and (51.53 ±2.21)ng/L respectively,which were lower than before treatment (t=12.76 and 15.25,13.23 and -8.42,-10.43 and 5.78,25.04 and 26.95,all P<0.01),which of the obser-vation group were lower than the control group(t=-2.84,4.01,-2.74,-6.27,all P<0.01).After treatment, PCT,IL-6,IL-8,TNF-αof the observation group and the control group were (1.05 ±0.74)ng/mL and (1.38 ± 0.87)ng/mL,(26.89 ±3.57)ng/L and (32.44 ±5.96)ng/L,(21.40 ±3.41)ng/L and (27.71 ±5.50)ng/L, (32.29 ±2.40)ng/L and (39.77 ±2.57)ng/L respectively,which were lower than before treatment(t=22.40 and 22.44,23.10 and -11.96,21.40 and 12.66,48.94 and 38.81,all P<0.01),which of the observation group were lower than the control group(t=-4.09,-4.26,-5.29,-11.68,all P<0.01).No obvious side effect was found in the two groups in the treatment and followed-up period.Conclusion Point injection of spleen polypeptides can effectively reduce the inflammatory response in patients with AECOPD,improve clinical outcomes,shorten course of treatment,has better clinical value.

The frequencies of sister chromatid exchange (SCE) and micronucleus (MN) of peripheral blood lymphocytes were determined in 15 patients with RB, their 24 parents and 16 normal controls.The results showed that the spontaneous,MMC induced SCE and MN rates in patients were significantly higher than those in controls. Therefore, the results provided some positive evidence for chromosome instability in RB patients. The relationship between chromosome instability and the origin of RB was also discussed
7.Roles of anti-angiogenic therapy combined with radiotherapy in the treatment of malignant tumors

The growth and metastasis of tumor relies on oxygen and nutrients provided by neonatal blood vessel. When no angiogenesis, the tumor growth will be obviously inhibited. At present, anti-tumor angiogenesis strategies are increasingly becoming a focus of attention and study at home and abroad. However,because of the complexity of the antiangiogenesis, the clinical effects of antiangiogenesis alone is not so satisfied, while this is reversed when combined with radiotherapy.
8.Induction of neural stem cells into oligodendrocytes

Objective:To induce neural stem cells(NSCs)differentiating into oligodendrocytes in vitro and provide experiment foundation for NSCs-derived oligodendrocytes.Methods:The primary NSCs were isolated from endbrain and midbrain of neonatal rats,and then the cells were cultured in vitro.NSCs were induced by thyroid hormone(T3)and(or)insulin,and the effect of T3 and insulin was analysed by comparing the proliferation and the differentiation rate of NSCs and by measuring the prominency of GalC-positive cells.Results:NSCs were induced into oligodendrocytes by thyroid hormone and/or insulin,and different concentration of T3 and/or insulin had different effects on differentiation.Conclusion:Thyroid hormone and insulin can induce NSCs to differentiate mainly into oligodendrocyte and promote the proliferation and maturation of oligodendrocytes.The effect is more outstanding when 40ng/ml T3 is used in combination with 25?g/ml insulin.
9.SUBSTANCE P-POSITIVE STRUCTURE IN HUMAN AND RAT SPINAL CORD BY PAP METHOD

The distribution of substance P-positive structure was studied in the human and rat spinal cord using immunohistochemical technique. The results showed that a very dense network of substance P-positive fibers was found in the spinal cord in laminae Ⅰ-Ⅲ, in Lissauer's fasciculus and a rather dense plexus was seen in the area around the central canal. P-positive fibesr were observed in the ventral horns, but they were rare. These positive fibers were stained yellow, brown and dark-brown colour. In addition, substance P-positive neuronal cell bodies and fibers were seen in rat spinal ganglia, and they were smaller cells.
