Chinese Journal of Medical Physics 2009;26(6):1495-1499,1507
Objective: Digital images processing is widely applied in the fields of biology and medicine, and some achievements have been gained by this technique. But there is few reports on measure the parameters of morphology of pathology from the patients which were threated by ovulation induction, by computer processing techniques. The work shows it has significant value in clinical diagnosis and reproductive medicine at present and in the future. Methods: Write the programmeces by Image Processing Toolbox in MATLAB. The original pathology images are preprocessed by 4 steps: step 1: read imagejstep 2: imopen the curve background brightness; step 3: adjust the background; step 4: adjust the contrast. Then segmentation image by 4 steps; step 1: read image; step 2: estimation the image; step 3: remove the noise; step 4: find the boundaries. The end, measure the parameters of morphology. Results: The pathology was studied percase for their area, perimeter, maximum diameter, equivalent diameter and metric. Conclusions: Image Processing Toolbox is useful to measure the parameters of morphology of pathology.

Objective To study the effects and significance of thrombexane -B_2(TXB_2)and six-ketone-prostaglandin(6-k-PG)F1 α levels in the primary type of hyper-acute cerebral infarction with different sensitivities to aspirin. Methods Sixty-three patients with primary type of hyper-acute cerebral infarction were divided into three groups based on their sensitivities to aspirin:aspirin resistance(AR)group, aspirin semiresistance(ASR)group, aspirin sensitivity(AS)group.TXB_2 and 6-k-PGF1α levels were measured, compared and analyzed in the three groups before and two weeks after taking aspirin(100 mg/d).Results The total effective rate in AS group[87.0%(20/23)]was significantly higher than that in ASR group[55.0%(11/20)]and AR group[30.0%(6/20)](P<0.05).There was no significant difference of TXB_2 and 6-k-PGF1 α among the three groups before taking aspirin. After taking aspirin for two weeks,TXB_2 leveh in all the three groups were lower than those before making aspirin(P<0.01),6-k-PGF1α levels in all the three groups were higher than those before taking aspirin(P<0.01).Conclusions Aspirin can decrease the TXB_2 concentration and increase the 6-k-PGF1α concentration of the primary hyper-acute cerebral infarction. It may be reduce the risks of re-infarction after the primary acute infarction. Monitoring the concentration of TXB_2 and 6-k-PGF1α can be helpful to evaluate rehabilitation prognosis.

Objective:To analyze the success rate and safety of artery blood-collection from related artery and provide reference for clinical work. Methods:A total of 600 patients in need of artery blood-collection ,who visited to our hospital from Jul 2013 to Sep 2013,were selected. They were randomly divided into femoral artery blood-collection group (n=120,femoral group),radial artery blood-collection group (n= 240,radial group)and brachial artery blood-collection group (n=240,brachial group).Success rate of puncture and incidence rate of adverse reactions were compared among three groups. Results:Success rates of puncture in femoral group and brachial group were sig-nificantly higher than that of radial group (95.00%,92.92% vs.86.67%,P <0.01 all),there was no significant difference between femoral group and brachial group,P >0.05;incidence rate of adverse reactions in femoral group was significantly higher than those of radial group and brachial group (11.67% vs.5.83%,5.00%),there was no significant difference between radial group and brachial group,P >0.05. Conclusion:Synthetic judgment:Success rate of puncture is higher and incidence rate of adverse reactions is lower for brachial artery blood-collection,so it may be regarded as preferred.

Objective:To explore the subjective quality of life of pediatric patients.Methods:42 children with acute diseases, 38 with chronic diseases and 57 normal children were investigated with Children's Subjective Quality of Life Questionnaire. Results: The subjective life satisfaction were similar in acute disease group (159.9?13.9) and in chronic group (160.0?16.9), which were lower than normal control (165.8?17.6). Multiple regression showed that girls, from urban area, late onset, longer duration, less activities out of class, lack of support from relatives, poor mental health of parents were risk factors. Conclusion: Children with acute or chronic diseases have poorer life quality than normal control.

Objective To investigate the nutrition value of w heat flour fortified with lysine, vitamin B1,vitamin B2,vitamin A. Methods White rat cut off milk were allocated into four gro ups ( Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ、Ⅳ)at random. Control group (Ⅰ) was raised with ordinary wheat flou r non-fortified and experiment group (Ⅱ、Ⅲ、Ⅳ) were raised with nutriment wh eat flour with different prescription. The observer watched each group of animal periodically in weight, nitrogen balance, food raised efficiency , thermal energy efficiency, protein efficiency ratio, and swimming persisting ti me under burdon, and so on. Results After raised for 28 days amo ng each group, the targets mentioned above in experiment group was found significently higher than that of control. Conclusions The wheat flour possessed higher nutrition evaluation of protein which benefit s the development of white rat when fortified with lysine and some kinds of th e vitamins.

Objective To investigate the expression of phosphorylation-mammalian target of rapamycin (p-mTOR) in endometrial carcinoma. Methods The expressions of p-mTOR protein in tissues from 45 cases of endometrial adenocarcinoma, 7 endometrial atypical hyperplasia, and 6 normal endometrium were detected by immunohistochemistry SP method. Results The expression of p-mTOR protein maily restricted to cytoplasm. Compared with normal endometrium, the expression of p-mTOR protein in the cases of endometrial atypical hyperplasia and endometrial adenocarcinoma was significantly up-regulation(2.36 ± 0.76vs 6.21 ± 1.19, 15.82 ± 2.64)( F = 11.37, P < 0.05 ). There was significant difference of p-mTOR protein in different histology class in endometrial adenocarcinoma (F = 8.27, P < 0.05), but there was no significant difference of p-mTOR protein in different pathological grade in endometrial adenocarcinoma (P >0.05).Conclusion The expression of p-mTOR protein may participate in the occurrence and development of endometrial carcinoma.

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(03):-
AIM: To investigate the frequency and pattern of deletion of p53 gene in primary hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and its clinical significance. METHODS: The interphase dual fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH) technique was applied to detect loss of p53 gene in HCCs. RESULTS: The deletion of p53 gene was found in 68.0% of HCCs whereas no loss of p53 gene was detected in 40 mated normal liver specimens. Loss of p53 gene was closely related to tumor size and serum ?-fetoprotein(AFP) level in HCC patients ( P 0.05). The 2-year survival rate of postoperative HCC patients was significantly lower in the HCC cases with p53 gene deletion (25.6%) than those without p53 gene loss (69.6%) ( ? 2=11.463, P
