[Objective]To study the prophylactic effects of high dose methylprednisolone(MP) for perioperative surgical treatment of thoracic spinal stenosis.[Method]From July 2003 to December 2007,a retrospective study of 40 patients who underwent simply posterior thoracic vertebral canal decompression was made. The patients were divided into 2 groups according to the application of MP or none-MP at perioperation.Twenty-one patients in MP group were treated with MP stoss(30 mg/kg,iv 15 min) 30 min prior to the decompression and then 45 min later MP(5.4 mg/kg/h) was continuted for 23 hours.Nineteen patients in the control group were treated with dexamethasone(DX) 15 mg 30 min prior to the decompression and then DX(10 mg/d,iv) was given for 3 days after operation.Neurological function improvement rates were evaluated according to the JOA scores(postoperative JOA scores-preoperative JOA scores /17﹣preoperative JOA scores)?100% at 3d,7d,3d and 12 months after operation.Complication were observed.[Result]Neurological function recovery rates were 33.54?10.01% in MP group and 28.29?8.73% in the control group at 3 days after operation. The difference was found to be significant(P0.05).Neurological deficit was found in 5 in control group, while no one in the MP group.[Conclusion]High dose of MP used perioperatively for thoracic stenosis can protect spinal cord and improve operative security, while it does not increase serious adverse complications.

China Pharmacy 2007;0(31):-
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the quality of Gentiana scabra in Qingre jiedu oral solution. METHODS: HPLC method was established to determine the content of gentiamarin in the oral solution. 299 batches of Qingre jiedu oral solution in circulation were measured and evaluated. RESULTS: Developed HPLC method is simple and reliable. The quality of Qingre jiedu oral solution in circulation is not satisfied. CONCLUSION: Great importance should be attached to the manufacture procedures monitoring of Qingre jiedu oral solution and quality control of G. scabra.

Objective: To establish the determination method of gallic acid in Ninbitai Capsules. Methods: HPLC with Shimadzu Shim-pack VP-ODS(250mm?4.6mm,5??m) column was used. Methanol-water-dimethylformamide-acetic acid glacial (1∶81∶15∶3) was used as mobile phase. The flow rate was 0.5mL/min. The detection wavelength was at 272nm.Results: The linearity of this method was well. The recovery of the added sample was 98.16%. RSD was 1.18%.Conclusion: This method is convient with a good separating degree and can be used for the quality control of Ninbitai Capsules.

Objective To analysis of the detection result of amniotic fluid chromosome which in NIPT high-risk pregnant women. Methods Amniotic fluid cells via amniotic cavity puncture were cultured and analyzed, the chromosome karyotypes were observed. Results The highest positive predictive value of NIPT was for trisomy 21(85.00%),then trisomy 18(75.00%),sex chromosome abnormalities(68.00%),other chromosome abnormalities(41.67%),trisomy 13 (25.00%).Conclusion The highest accuracy of NIPT was shown in detection of Down''s syndrome by NIPT.NIPT was screening test which is effective and noninvasive in prenatal diagnosis.Amniotic fluid Chromosomal karyotype analysis was the gold standard in the diagnosis of fetal chromosomal disease.

Objective To investigate 13 high-risk types of HPV (HR HPV) infection rates in women with different grades of cervical lesions. Methods A total of 350 women, who were hospitalized in the department of gynecology in Bao′an Maternity & Child health hospital, were enrolled for the study.TCT technology was used to evaluate the cervical epithelium. The group were divided according to the cytology results.Multiplex real time PCR (mRT PCR) was used to detect the viral loads.HR HPV infection rate of different groups were analyzed using χ2 test or Fisher exact test.HR HPV viral loads of patients in different grades of cervical lesion groups were compared using Kruskal-Wallis or Wilcoxon test, and the age distribution of HR HPV positive group and negative group was analyzed by using Wilcoxon test. Results The HR HPV infection rates of NILM, ASCUS, LSIL, HSIL were 3.4% (10/295), 20.0% (7/35), 78.6% (11/14) and 100.0% (6/6), respectively.HR HPV positivity in NILM was lower than ASCUS (χ2=14.43,P<0.01) and LSIL (χ2=107.69,P<0.01), HR HPV positivity in ASCUS was lower than LSIL (χ2=14.76,P<0.01). The median of HR HPV viral loads in NILM, ASCUS, LSIL and HSIL were 4.10 (3.38-6.27), 5.33 (3.63-6.66), 5.77 (4.01-7.01) and 5.58 (4.19-5.85) respectively (copies/ml,lg).Combined ASCUS, LSIL and HSIL groups into cervical lesion group, HR HPV viral load of which was higher than that of NILM (U=43.0, P<0.05).The median Ages of HR HPV positive group and negative group were 36 and 33, respectively. No statistical significance was found between them (U=4 544, P>0.05).Conclusions The present study revealed that HR HPV infection was related to cervical lesion, but there was no correlation between viral load and cervical lesion grade. In additional, no difference in age distribution was found between HR HPV positive group and negative group.

Abstract: In order to investigate the feasibility of the extract from Cyclocarya paliurus as an additive in cigarettes, the volatile aromatic components were analyzed by gas chromatography-ion mobility spectrometry (GC-IMS), and C.paliurus extract was pyrolyzed to simulate cigarette smoking by TGA-GC/MS. The cracking products of C.paliurus were analyzed in a nitrogen environment, and the possible cracking mechanism of the products was reasonably speculated. The results showed that aldehydes, alcohols, and ketones were the primary volatile aroma components of the C.paliurus extract, comprising 62.28% of the total aroma components. The cracking products of C.paliurus extract varied greatly under different temperature conditions. A total of 79 compounds were identified at 200,360, and 440 ℃, among which 24 aromatic components were clearly identified as having significant effects on cigarette style, including aldehydes, ketones, alcohols, phenols, furans, benzene series, and other natural aromatic substances. Among them, phenols containing a high concentration are mainly formed by compounds containing the structure of guaiacol unit and eugenol unit by side chain cleavage, demethylation, demethoxylation, dehydration, etc. Furan and its derivatives are mainly formed by glycosides or glycoside compounds by breaking glucoside bonds and dehydration.
