Objective To observe the effect of intermittent and continuous blue light therapy for pathological neonatal jaundice,and to evaluate the prognosis of newborns.Methods 214 patients with pathologic neonatal jaundice who treated with blue light irradiation were slected,they were randomly divided into two groups according to the admission number combined with single and double numbers,107 patients in each group.Group A received continuous blue light irradiation treatment.Group B received intermittent blue light irradiation.The clinical efficacy and prognosis of children,blue light exposure time,serum total bilirubin (TBiL) recovery time,the hospitalization time and the adverse reactions during the treatment were observed.The levels of serum TBiLwere measured before and after light exposure 3,5 days.Results The total effective rate of group B was 97.18％ (104/107),which was higher than that of group A [90.65 ％ (97/107)],the difference was statistically significant (x2 =10.30,P ＜ 0.05).The time of blue light irradiation and hospital stay time of group B were (71.59 ± 7.05) d and (11.51 ± 1.23) d,respectively,which were significantly shorter than those of group A [(79.54 ± 6.82) d and (13.64 ± 1.18) d],the differences were statistically significant (u =11.42,9.87,all P ＜ 0.05).The level of TBiL of group B was (96.28 ± 10.25) μmol/L,which was significantly lower than (104.52 ± 10.31) μmol/L of group A (u =8.94,P ＜ 0.05).The incidence rate of adverse reactions in group B was 2.55％ (4/157),which was lower than that in group A [7.01％ (11/157)],the difference was statistically significant (x2 =9.66,P ＜ 0.05).The prognosis of neonatal in the two groups was good.Conclusion The intermittent and continuous blue light in the treatment of pathological neonatal jaundice has good clinical effect and the neonatal prognosis is good.The clinical efficacy of intermittent blue light irradiation is better,which can significantly shorten the treatment time and has higher safety.

OBJECTIVE To discuss the antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects of GanKeQing granules.METHODS The antibacterial tests in vitro,and the tests of it′s affects for auricular swelling induced by xylene and celiac capillary permeability induced by acetic acid in mice were done to observe the pharmaceutical effects of GanKeQing granules.RESULTS GanKeQing granules could inhibit and kill 5 kinds of pathogenic bacteria,suppress the swelling of the mouse′s ear caused by xylene and releave the enhancment of mice capillary permeability caused by acetic acid.CONCLUSIONS GanKeQing granules have better antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects,which could be used for the treatment and prevention of cold and flu.

BACKGROUND: Human placenta is a stable source for human amniotic epithelial cells, which is becoming a cellsource in the regenerative medicine that attracts widespread attentions.OBJECTIVE: To establish the method of isolation, culture, and adipogenic, chondric and osteogenic differentiationof human amniotic epithelial cells. METHODS: Trypsin-EDTA digestion was used to isolate human amniotic epithelial cells from human amnion tissue,which were then cultured and identified in vitro. The growth curve of the cells was observed in 12 days. Passage 1human amniotic epithelial cells were induced to differentiate into adipocytes, chondrocytes and osteoblasts, andconventional cultured cells were used as controls. After 16 days induction, oil red O, Masson and alkaline phosphatesstaining methods were carried out, and adipogenic transcription factor, type Ⅱ collagen, osteopontin, alkalinephosphatase mRNA expressions were detected using real-time fluorescene quantitative PCR.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Human amniotic epithelial cells were successfully obtained from human amnion tissue.Immunofluorescence data showed the expression of epithelial cell surface marker CK19. Passage 1 cells had a strongability to divide and proliferate. Compared with passage 1 ones, passage 2 cells showed a slight decrease in proliferationability, and the proliferation ability of passage 3 cells was the worst. Red lipid droplets, brilliant blue cartilage matrix andreddish brown calcium nodes were detected by oil red O, Masson and alkaline phosphates staining after adipogenic,chondrogenic and osteogenic differentiation, respectively. With the time prolonged, the expressions of adipogenictranscription factor, type Ⅱ collagen, osteopontin and alkaline phosphatase mRNA were increased. These resultsdemonstrated that human amniotic epithelial cells could be isolated from human amniotic membrane by enzymedigestion method, and these amniotic epithelial cells could be induced to differentiate into differentiate into adipocytes,chondrocytes and osteoblasts.

Objective To evaluate the specificity,sensitivity and accuracy of miniature probe combined with radial scanning endoscopic ultrasonography(EUS)in preoperative TN staging of rectal cancer,and to assess its value in the choice of therapeutic strategy.Methods A total of 60 patients with rectal cancer received EUS assessment before surgery.Diagnosis was made according to TNM standard and compared with those of MRI and postoperative pathological examination.The reference value of EUS for therapy selection was studied.Results According to EUS staging,there were 4 cases of TI,18 T2,30 T3 and 8 T4,among which 7 cases were over-staged and 4 others were under-staged.MRI staging showed 1 case of T1,18 T2,30 T3 and 10 T4,among which 14 were over-staged and 3 others were under-staged.The total accuracy of EUS in T staging and N staging was 81.67%(49/60)and 78.33%,respectively,with the sensitivity and specificity at 71.43%and 91.03%,respectively.Accuracy of MRI for T staging and N staging were 71.67%(43/60)and 83.33%,respectively,with the sensitivity and specificity as 85.71%and 86.96%.Conclusion EUS with combination of miniature probe and radial scanning is effective in preoperative TN staging of rectal cancer with easy manipulation and less pain.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the variation of endothelial progenitor cells (EPC) number and cardiovascular diseases (CVD) in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients ,and discuss the function of EPC in the progression of CVD in MHD. Methods One hundred and fifteen MHD patients over 18 years whose dialysis vintage was over six months from Department of Nephrology, Renji Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine were enrolled. They were divided into CVD group and non ? CVD group by medical history, electrokardiographie (EKG), cardiac ultrasound, peripheral vascular imaging and cardiovascular imaging. Peripheral blood (5 ml) was collected for detecting EPC number by flow cytometry as CD34/CD133/vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2) cells. The EPC number between CVD group and non?CVD group was compared. The relationship between the decrease of EPC number and CVD risks in MHD patients was analyzed by logistic regression analysis. In a three?year follow?up, the death and new CVD events of the two groups were compared in order to discuss the relationship between EPC number and adverse events. Results Among 115 MHD patients, the average age was 61.57 ± 12.76, male/female was 71/44, the average dialysis vintage was (86.24 ± 56.31) months, the average Kt/V was 1.69 ± 0.29 and average ultrafiltration volume was (2.48 ± 0.90) L. Forty?four patients in 115 (38.3%) were with concurrent CVD. The EPC number in CVD group was significantly lower than that in non CVD group (P=0.015). The CVD group had higher serum phosphate (P=0.013), higher glycosylated hemoglobin (P<0.001), but serum calcium, intact parathyroid hormone (iPTH) and other indicators had no significant difference between two groups. Multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that older age (OR=1.061), history of diabetes (OR=9.796), dialysis vintage (OR=1.015), serum phosphate (OR=3.766), decrease of EPC number (OR=0.909) were the independent impact factors of CVD events in MHD patients. There were 22 patients of the 115 MHD patients had encountered a new CVD event in a three?year follow?up between December 2012 and December 2015, 9 patients from the CVD group and 13 patients from the Non?CVD group, and there was no significant difference between two groups (P=0.776). Nine patients from the CVD group and 7 patients from the Non?CVD group died in the follow?up, and there was no significant difference (P=0.111). Seventy?one MHD patients from the non?CVD group were divided into two groups by the median of EPC number. There were 3 patients in the higher EPC number group encountered CVD events and 10 patients in the lower EPC number group encountered CVD events, which had significant difference (P=0.024). Conclusion The decrease of circulating EPC number may be related with CVD events in MHD patients. Even adjusted by age, sex, diabetes, dialysis vintage and serum phosphate, decreased EPC number is still the independent risk factor of CVD events in MHD patients. The decrease of EPC number in MHD patients may be used to predict the occurrence of cardiovascular events.

Objective To analyze the data of influenza A(H1N1) viruses surveillance and genetic characteristics from Taian City during 2005-2008,so a scientific basis can be provided for the prevention and treatment of influenza.Methods The specimens from Influenza-Like Illness(ILI) were collected.The viruses were isolated with MDCK cell and identified with HAI and RT-PCR.The product of PCR were sequenced.Then the sequences were analyzed through biometric software.Results A total of 121 influenza strains were obtained from 615 specimens,and 4 of them were identified as A(H1N1) subtype.There were 3 strains mutated on several sites.Compared with strains isolated in 2005,there were 5 and 8 mutations in the amino acid sequences of virus strains isolated in 2007 and 2008 respectively.And there were a total of 22 amino acid mutations compared with A/Brisbane/59/2007(H1N1).Conclusions Influenza type A(H1N1) are detected in Taian City.There are several mutations in the amino acid sequences of virus strains isolated in Taian. The antigenic drift of virus strains is due to accumulation of amino acid substitutions

Objective To assess the role of endoscopic ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration (EUS-FNA)for diagnosis of gastrointestinal tract lesions.Methods Sixty-eight patients underwent endoscopic uhrasonagraphy and EUS-FNA between May 2007 and Dec.2008.The result of cytology and/or pathology was compared with that of surgical finding and follow-up study.Results EUS-FNA was successfully performed on 62 patients with lesiorm in oesophagus(4 eases),stomach(19 case),rectum(19 cases),liver(3 case),mediastinum(4 cases)and lymph node(13 cases),and had a successful rate of 91.18%(62/68).Among them,the lesions in 40 patients(64.52%)were cytologically confirmed.The lesions in 10 out of 22 patients(35.48%)were pathologically confirmed.Compared with the results of pathology and long-term followe-up study,the sensitivity,specificity and positive predictive value of EUSFNA in diagnosis of lesions in gastrointestinal tract was 85.48%,100.00%and 90.91%,respectively,The positive predictive value and negative predictive value was100.00%and 57.14%,respectively.Conclusion EUS-FNA is a safe,effective and accurate method for diagnosis of lesions in gastrointestinal tract,and has an important role in cytological diagnosis.

METHODS:Based on literature review,analysis of pharmacy automation setting and features,this paper gave the suggestions and solutions on construction cost,management model change,equipment maintenance and emergency response,etc. according to the practice of the hospital. RESULTS&CONCLUSIONS:Pharmacy automation construction should be stick to the requirements of new health re-form to lower the cost by using the out resources and interior optimal allocation,to improve efficiency by unified planning and proper design,and to ensure the system running efficiently by sufficient maintenance and contingency plan.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the genetic feature of meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aures isolated from earthquake victims and compare them with those of common patients.METHODS The MRSA isolates underwent SCCmec(Staphylococcal Cassette Chromosome mec) multi-PCR and PVL gene detection.Diversilab method was used for homology comparison and antibiotic resistance was also analyzed.RESULTS All the MRSA isolates were confirmed to be type Ⅲ SCCmec with PVL gene negative.Homology analysis showed relatively consistent with community-acquired MRSA confirmed to be ST8 by MLST typing.CONCLUSIONS There may be cross-spread of MRSA between hospital and community.We should pay more attation even in emergent time.
