Pulse-taking is the most specific diagnostic method of TCM.Its significance has been recognized by ancient and modern doctors. However,at present the application and spread of pulse-taking is limited. In this paper, the author made detailed explorations of literatures and studies the value of pulse condition in guiding syndrome differentiation of liver diseases. The study shows abnormal pulse in left guan and taut pulse in cunkou location both suggest the liver is disordered. We can judge the location of diseases through pulse condition. This exploration shows pulse-taking plays important role in syndrome differentiation. But there is one thing should be paid more attention, pulse condition should be integrated with other symptoms, that will be reliable in guiding diagnosis.

Objective To apply the feedback closed-loop management systemin the telephone follow-up service for discharged patients to increase patient satisfaction and improve the quality of nursing. Methods From January 2015,telephone return visit to discharged patients were analyzed, a summary of dissatisfaction events, analyze the causes every month. Then, the improvement measures for nursing quality were put forward and the effects were evaluated to form a closed-loop management system. Results After the application of feedback closed-loop management system, there was a significant difference in patients' satisfaction with nursing service between the first half (with the incidence of 91.77%,3657/3985) and the second half (with the incidence of 95.76%,3610/3770) of 2015 (χ2=52.22, P < 0.01). Of the 9 items of dissatisfaction recorded in the questionnaire, significant difference was observed in 8 items, as service attitude, hospitalizing education, personal care, question answering, nurse's operation, health education, respect, clean environment and the discharge instructions. The incidence of each item was 2.11%(84/3985), 0.23%(9/3985), 0.35%(14/3985), 0.33%(13/3985), 0.30%(12/3985), 2.99%(119/3985), 0.33%(13/3985), 0.58%(23/3985), 2.58%(103/3985) in the first half of 2015 respectively, compared to 1.09%(41/3770), 0.05%(2/3770), 0.05%(2/3770), 0.08%(3/3770), 0.21%(8/3770), 0.64%(24/3770), 0.85%(32/3770), 0.21%(8/3770), 1.25%(47/3770) in the second half of 2015 respectively (χ2=4.084-59.088,P<0.01 or 0.05). However, no significant difference was observed in the nurse operational between the first half (0.30%) and the second half (0.21%) in 2015 (χ2=0.596, P>0.05). Conclusions Feedback closed-loop management systemic a scientific management theory. It can increase patient satisfaction with nursing service, improve the quality of nursing, and make quality management more scientific and effective .

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(2):256-262
Traditional sample entropy fails to quantify inherent long-range dependencies among real data. Multiscale sample entropy (MSE) can detect intrinsic correlations in data, but it is usually used in univariate data. To generalize this method for multichannel data, we introduced multivariate multiscale entropy into multiscale signals as a reflection of the nonlinear dynamic correlation. But traditional multivariate multiscale entropy has a large quantity of computation and costs a large period of time and space for more channel system, so that it can not reflect the correlation between variables timely and accurately. In this paper, therefore, an improved multivariate multiscale entropy embeds on all variables at the same time, instead of embedding on a single variable as in the traditional methods, to solve the memory overflow while the number of channels rise, and it is more suitable for the actual multivariate signal analysis. The method was tested in simulation data and Bonn epilepsy dataset. The simulation results showed that the proposed method had a good performance to distinguish correlation data. Bonn epilepsy dataset experiment also showed that the method had a better classification accuracy among the five data set, especially with an accuracy of 100% for data collection of Z and S.

ObjectiveTo investigate the status of benefit finding in diabetic patients, and mediating effect of resilience between family support and benefit finding in diabetic patients.MethodsFive hundred and thirteen diabetic patients from a hospital of Harbin were recruited as investigative subjects from September 2015 to June 2016.The resilience scale, family adaptability, cohesion scale and benefit finding scale were used in the study.ResultsThe scores of benefit finding, resilience and family adaptability and cohesion were 55.67±12.87,70.65±10.39 and 104.25±15.38,separately.The total score of family adaptability and cohesion was positively related to the total score of benefit finding(r=0.389,P<0.05).The total score of resilience was positively related to the total score of benefit finding(r=0.155,P<0.05).The total score of family adaptability and cohesion was positively related to the total score of resilience(r=0.112,P<0.05).Benefit finding as the dependent variable, the results of hierarchical regression analysis indicated that family adaptability and cohesion (β=0.382,P<0.01),resilience(β=0.098,P<0.01)entered the regression equation. There was a partial mediating effect of resilience between family support and benefit finding in diabetic patients. The mediating effect was 0.011,accounted for 2.8% of the total effect. The resilience was the important protective factor for benefit finding.ConclusionFamily support has a direct influence on benefit finding and an indirect effect mediated by resilience on benefit finding.

Objective To investigate the feasibility of using recombinant infectious clones of hu-man coronavirus OC43 (HCoV-OC43) as a vector for the expression of exogenous genes and to analyze the insertion sites. Methods Based upon pBAC-OC43FL, a full-length cDNA infectious clone of HCoV-OC43, three recombinant expression plasmids ( pBAC-OC43-GFPΔNS2, pBAC-OC43-GFPΔNS12. 9 and pBAC-OC43-N-GFP) were respectively constructed by replacing NS2 and NS12. 9 genes with the reporter gene en-coding the green fluorescent protein ( GFP ) and inserting the reporter gene after the N gene by using the overlapping-PCR and in vitro ligation. Reverse genetics techniques were used for viral rescue. All of the res-cued virus strains were characterized by immunofluorescence assay ( IFA) and Western blot ( WB) assay af-ter transfecting BHK-21 cells with the recombinant viruses. Results Two recombinant viruses, OC43-GFPΔNS2 and OC43-GFPΔNS12. 9, could be successfully rescued by transfection the BHK-21 cells with pBAC-OC43-GFPΔNS2 and pBAC-OC43-GFPΔNS12. 9 plasmids. The expressed GFP was observed in BHK-21 cells transfected with pBAC-OC43-GFPΔNS2 or pBAC-OC43-GFPΔNS12. 9 plasmids, but not in the cells transfected with the pBAC-OC43-N-GFP plasmid. An efficient and stable expression of GFP was observed in the pBAC-OC43-GFPΔNS2 plasmid-transfected cells. The 10th generation of OC43-GFPΔNS2 virus was ob-tained after repeated freezing and thawing. The expression of GFP and N protein were detected in cells infec-ted with the OC43-GFPΔNS2 virus after 10 passages. Conclusion The NS2 gene of HCoV-OC43 could be used as a promising insertion site of the pBAC-OC43 FL infectious clone for the expression of exogenous genes. This study might provide a platform for further researches on the replication of HCoV-OC43 and the development of human coronavirus-based vectors.
