As a special branches of capillary electrophoresis(CE), nonaqueous capillary electrophoresis (NACE) was variedly applied in the recent years. A brief summary on solvent properties and molecular interactions in nonaqueous solutions are introduced. Discussing of the approaches employed to enhance and tune selectivity in NACE. Special detection techniques for NACE are presented. Furthermore, a list of relevant applications in biological sample and its metabolin and also in pharmaceutical since 2000 is included, and also take perspective for NACE.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Zusanli moxibustion intervention in abdominal distention with enteral nutrition after stomach cancer surgery. Methods One hundred patients who had undergone stomach cancer surgery and received postoperative enteral nutrition were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups, 50 cases each. The control group received medication and the treatment group, Zusanli moxibustion in addition. Post-treatment incidences and grading scores of abdominal distention were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of abdominal distention was 6.0% in the treatment group and 24.0% in the control group; there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). The grading score of abdominal distention was (0.33±0.58) in the treatment group and (0.92±1.00) in the control group; there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion Zusanli moxibustion can effectively prevent the occurrence of abdominal distention in patients with enteral nutrition after stomach cancer surgery.

Chinese Journal of Infectious Diseases 2001;0(05):-
Objective To study the antimicrobial resistance changes of common pathogenic bacterial isolates in Guangzhou. Methods Disc diffusion test was used to measure the antibiotic susceptibility of 5063 strains collected from 13 hospitals in Guangzhou from 1998 to 2000 (Fastidious bacteria were detected by E test). Results From 1998 to 2000, the percentage of methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus was 45.3%,53.0%, and 50.8%, respectively, and that of methicillin resistant coagulase negative Staphylococcus was 64.1%, 86.0%, and 79.0% accordingly. There was no resistance to vancomycin in the strains of Staphyloccocas and there were 40.7%, 31.8% and 36.4% in E.coli and 43.1%, 42.7%, and 31.5% in Klebsiella found to be extended spectrum lactamases producing in the 3 years. Resistant rates of Enterobacter spp against the third generation cephalosporins increased. Resistant rates of P.aeruginosa against cefoperazone/sulbactam, ceftazidime, amikacin were changed unmarkedly in recent years. Conclusions The antimicrobial resistance of common pathogenic bacteria is serious in Guangzhou area. The surveillance of antimicrobial susceptibility is of great significance.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(04):-
Under the principle of giving priority to patient care, efforts were made to expand the functions of HIS in the dispensary of the ward areas. Using HIS to automatically create and print drug-dispensing labels that fit in with clinical needs and thus realizing paperless dispensation in the dispensary of the ward areas could not only reduce errors but also improve work efficiency and service quality. Medication records created automatically with HIS, in the process of which clinical data were automatically entered, were easy to use and provided complete and timely information, thus setting up a sound platform ofr the delivery of pharmaceutical service. A quantitative system for personnel appraisal and control was also established. Hence the enhancement of work efficiency and control level.

Objective:To establish a method of ion chromatography for the determination of sodium, potassium and citric acid in potassium sodium hydrogen citrate granule. Methods:The chromatographic conditions for potassium and sodium were as follows:a Di-onex IonPac CS12A column (250 mm × 4. 6 mm, 5μm), 0. 02 mol·L-1 methane sulfonic acid solution as the mobile phase, the flow rate of 1. 0 ml·min-1 , the suppressor of CSRS 300, the inhibition current of 59 mA, the inhibition type conductivity detector, and the injection volume of 25 μl. The chromatographic conditions for citrate were as follows: a Dionex HPICE-AS1 colunm ( 250 mm × 9. 0 mm,7. 5 μm), 0. 015 mol·L-1sulfuric acid solution as the mobile phase, the flow rate of 0. 6 ml·min-1, the detection wave-length of 220 nm and the injection volume of 10 μl.
