Wanglaojichongfu Herb Tea was found to possess the following actions: (1)antibiosis and anti-inflammation, (2) diuresis, (3) inceasing the contraction power of smooth muscle of gastrointestinal canal, (4)promoting the peristalsis of intestinum, (5) contracting the trachea link, (6) decreasing the perfusion amount of lung. The toxic test suggested that the maximal tolerance dose of mice with its extract a day was 220 times as much as clinical administration dose.

AIM: To study the effects of alltride on experimental gastric ulcer and promoting bowl movement. METHODS: Applying experimental gastric ulcer models induced by alcohol and hydrochloric acid, ligating pylorus, indomethacin, acetic acid, calculated the index of gastric ulcer. Applying dry stool constipations in mice the first defecation time, moist dejection amounts were observed. [Objective]To investigate the expression and the clinical significance of macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF)in the serum and lung tissues of the patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).[Methods]Eighty-eight eligible inpatients were confirmed by pathology of lung tissues ,including 66 patients with NSCLC and 22 patients with benign lung lesions. ELISA was performed to measure serum concentration of MIF of these patients ,which was compared with 30 healthy individuals. Meanwhile,immunohistochemistry(IHC)was performed to examine the expression of MIF in the lung tissues of the two groups. MIF expression level was compared between two groups and among different subgroups of NSCLC. The correlationship between serum MIF level and high expression rate in lung tissues was also analyzed. All the data were analyzed by SPSS17.0.[Results]The serum concentration of MIF in NSCLC group was significantly higher than that in healthy control(14.79 ng/mL vs 10.69 ng/mL,P=0.001), and was slightly higher but not significantly different from benign lung lesions group(14.79 ng/mL vs 13.68 ng/mL,P=0.580). The comparison among subgroups of NSCLC showed that the serum MIF level was not only correlated with the histological grade and clini?cal stage of the cancer,but also correlated with the gender and smoking history of the host. Immunohistochemistry showed that the MIF high expression rate in the lung tissues of NSCLC was markedly higher than that of benign lung lesions group(30.3%vs 4.5%, P=0.014). Among the subgroups of NSCLC,IHC showed MIF high expression rate was correlated with the histopathologic types and clinical stage of the cancer. Simultaneously ,the serum MIF level showed a positive correlation with MIF expression rate in the lung tissues in all patients and NSCLC group(P<0.05).[Conclusion]MIF was strongly related to the clinicopathological characteristics of NSCLC. It could be helpful for the diagnosis and clinical evaluation of NSCLC.

Objective To study the adjunctive therapy with mucosolvan oxygen atomization on bronchitis. Methods All of the 83 cases were bronchitis patients in the hospital, and divided into 2 groups, we observed it`s curative effect compared with normal therapy. HZ Results Therapy in hospital mucosolvan group was 8.4 and thutinegroup was 11.2. Time of chirping and disappearing of lung phlegm.It is 5.1 to bathe Mucosolvan group. But routine group was 8.4.The two groups had remarkable differences and have statistics meanings. Conclusion Mucosolvan Oxgyen urge atomization is a kind of safe and high-efficcient way to heal the bronchitis.

Objective: To study the action of Zhongjiangweiling Capsule (Fructus Amoni, Cortex cinnamoni, Rhizoma Alpiniae officinarum Radix Glycyrrhizae) on the experimental gastric ulcer. Methods: Area of ulcer, gastric juice volume, acidity and pepsin output were measured on experimental gastric ulcer models induced by the ligated pylorus and burned acetic acid and i.p Reserpine in rats. Results: Zhongjingweiling Capule showed to be able to reduce areas of ulcers, gastric juice volume, acidity and pepsin output. Conclusion: Zhongjingweiling Capsule had antiulcer effect in rats.

Objective To investigate the sedative and hypnotic effects of Ganoderma lucidum brewage(GLB).Methods The NIH mice were given with gavage of GLB 0.06,0.12,and 0.24g/kg per day respectively for 15 days.The spontaneous motion,the sleeping time induced by pentobarbital sodium in subthreshold dosage and threshold dosage,and the number of mice subjected to pentylenetetrazol-induced convulsion were observed.Results GLB can reduce the spontaneous motion,significantly longthen the mice sleeping time of pentobarbital sodium in threshold dosage and increase the number of sleeping mice under subthreshold dosage of pentobarbital sodium.GLB was synergic with pentobarbital sodium,and antagonized pentylenetetrazol-induced convulsion in a dose-dependent manner.Conclusion GLB possesses obvious sedative,hypnotic and anticonvulsive effects.

[Objective] To observe the pharmacological action of Ganoderma Lucidum Brewage (GLB) in decreasing blood lipid. So did the mice. Hyperlipidemia mouse models and rat models were induced by yolk and high-fat diet respectively. Effect of GBL in various doses to decrease blood lipid was observed in the two kinds of hyperlipidemia models and was compared with that of Xuezhi Kang, Ganoderma Lucidum Decoction and Ganoderma Lucidum Capsule. AIM: To study the effects of Zhongjingweiling Capsule (Fructus Amomi, Cortex Cinnamemi, Rhizoma Alpiniae Galangae, Fructus Foeniculi, Radix Glycyrrhizae, etc.) on analgesia, anti inflammation and gastrointestinal peristalsis inhibition. METHODS: The effect of analgesia was tested by the method of writhes and hot plate on mice. The effect of anti inflammation was tested by injecting acetic acid and implanting cotton pellet and xylene into mice. RESULT: Zhongjingweiling Capsule effectively inhibited the swelling of mouse pinna induced by xylene and the increase of peritoneal capillary permeability caused by the acetic acid injected into mice. The capsule also decreased the proliferation of granuloma caused by implantation cotton pellet significantly and had an abirritant effect on the algesia induced by acetic acid and hot plate. Besides, it effectively inhibited the gastrointestinal peristalsis. CONCLUSION: Zhongjingweiling Capsule is an effective medicine in anti inflammation, analgesia, and gastrointestinal peristalsis inhibition.

Objective To investigate CT and MRI features of abdominal huge liposarcoma,and improve the preoperative diagnostic accuracy. Methods The CT and MRI findings of 1 7 cases with abdominal huge liposarcoma proved by operation and pathology were analyzed and correlated with pathologic subtypes retrospectively.Results In 17 cases,16 cases were located in retroperitoneal,1 case was located in the abdominal cavity.The average maximal diameter of the lesions was 17 cm.In all cases,main components of well differentiated liposarcomata (n=7) were fat density on CT and MRI,and enhanced slightly,3 cases were multiple lesions,1 case of sclerosing liposarcoma contained massive patchy calcification,1 case was fatless.Myxoid liposarcoma (n=5)were similar to cystic on CT and MRI features,enhanced with latticed or cloudy components slightly to moderately .Dedifferentiated liposarcoma (n=2)has both fat and soft tissue inside and the dividing line was clear.The soft tissue mass unevenly obviously enhanced.Mixed liposarcoma (n=3)had the imaging characteristics above different types,2 cases contained no fat composition.Conclusion Liposarcoma pathological subtype has diversity,and various subtypes have certain characteristic on CT and MRI imaging features.

Objective To further explore the effects of acupuncture and Fuyuan Mixture(FM) on learning and memory. Methods One hundred and twenty_nine NIH male mice were allocated to six groups:Group A (normal control group),Group B(model group),Group C(treated with acupuncture),Group D(treated with FM),Group E(FM and acupuncture),and Group F(treated with nimodipine).
