Nanotechnology has shown broad application prospects in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Currently, nearly 80 cancer nanomedicines are under clinical investigation, and many have been approved with enhanced anti-tumor efficacy and decreased side effects. However, the presence of various barriers in related basic research, process control and clinical trials lead to extremely low translation rate. From the perspective of clinical commercialization, we summarized the progress, clinical status, challenges and opportunities of cancer nanomedicine, and presented a cutting-edge prospect on the rational design of nanomedicine and clinical trial strategies.

Objective Published literatures on the relationship between IL-13 gene polymorphism and the susceptibility of children to bronchial asthma in China were comprehensively analyzed with the use of Meta-analysis to evaluate this relationship.Methods The data were collected from the Medline database,Ovid database,the Cochrane library,and Chinese Biomedical database,and the references of eligible studies were manually screened.Published data related to case-control studies reporting the link between IL-13 polymorphisms and asthma in Chinese children were retrieved through those database.Meta-analysis was conducted to determine whether the IL-13 gene polymorphisms were associated with asthma.Results Eighteen studies were finally accepted for analysis.There were three studies focusing on C-1 112T polymorphism,and six studies focusing on C + 1923T polymorphism,and fourteen studies focusing on G + 2044A polymorphism.There was no evidence to confirm that the genotypes in position IL-13-1112 C/T were associated with asthma in Chinese children [odds ratio(OR) =1.00,95％ CI 0.82-1.22,P =0.98].The OR of asthma for TT/CC genotypes was 1.15 (95 ％ CI 0.57-2.33,P =0.69) and for CT/CC was 1.01 (95 ％ CI 0.82-1.25,P =0.89).There was significant evidence to confirm that the genotypes in position + 1923 C/T were associated with asthma in Chinese children(OR =1.86,95％ CI 1.29-2.67,P =0.000 9).The OR of asthma for TT/CC genotypes was 2.12 (95 ％ CI 1.27-3.56,P =0.004) and for TC/CC was 1.67 (95％ CI 1.18-2.35,P =0.003).There was no correlation between IL-13 + 2044G/A polymorphism and the susceptibility (OR =1.33,95％ CI 0.94-1.88,P =0.11).The OR of asthma for AA/GG genotypes was 1.30 (95 ％ CI 0.76-2.20,P =0.34) and for AG/GG was 1.24(95％ CI 0.90-1.70,P =0.19).Conclusions IL-13 gene + 1923 TT and TC genotypes should be associated with susceptibility of asthma in Chinese children,and the T allele could increase the risk of asthma.No clear relationship was found between the genotype TT/TC at the IL-13-1112 site and the incidence of asthma of children in China,and so was the genotype AA/AG at the IL-13 +2044 site and the incidence.

Objective: To analyse the nutritional components and flavorous substance of the white yak,s milk. Method: In collecting the raw milk of eighteen white yaks,dry substance,protein,fat and ash were detected by routine methods;mineral elements by ICPV-1000S inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy,amino acids by 835-Shimadzu amino acid analyzer,volatile substances by GC-MS. Results: The milk of white yak contained dried substance (18.38%),protein (6.53%),fat (5.64%),minerals (0.87%), TAA(6.36%), EAA(2.56%),two limiting amino acids (Met and Trp), EAA / TAA (40.25%), EAA/ NEAA (67.37%); seven flavorous substances: esters, alcohols,ketones and aldehydes,etc. Conclusion: The milk of white yak has distinct propertis: high protein,high fat,high energy,abundant minerals,agreeable flavor,abundant amino acid. So the milk of white yak is an excellent nutritional resource.

Objective:To evaluate the effects of 2 kinds of fiber posts with different optical conductivity on the polymerization of resin cement in deep root canal.Methods:16 human premolars with single root were decoronated and randomly divided into 2 groups(n=8),which were restored using fiber posts with and without optical conductivity(i-TFC optical fiber post and Panavia post) respectively.Fiber posts were luted with light-curing resin cement and light cured.3 dentin slabs with fiber posts located at cervical,middle and apical 1/3 were harvested from each root.Knoop microhardness(HK) of the resin cement in each slab was measured using microindentation and the relative curing rate (RCR) was also examined,data were submitted to two-way ANOVA.Results:As the depth in the canal increased,the HK and RCR of the resin cement was decreased in both groups.At the cervical and middle 1/3 HK and RCR were not statistically different between the 2 groups(P＞0.05).At the apical 1/3 of the optical and Panavia group,the RCR of the resin cement was 69.89％ and 50.05％ (P＜0.05),the HK was 33.25 ± 3.04 and 23.08 ± 5.93 (P＜0.05),respectively.Conclusion:The optical fiber post is useful in promoting the polymerization of the resin cement in deep root canal.

Objective To investigate the role of CD4+CD25+FoxP3+ in severe Mycoplasma pneumonia among children.Methods One hundred and forty children with M.pneumoniae pneumonia (65 severe and 75 non-severe) who were hospitalized were enrolled along with forty other children as controls.X-ray was assessed.The proportions of peripheral blood CD4+CD25+FoxP3+cells were determined by flow cytometry.Results Both severe and non-severe children had decreased CD4+CD25+FoxP3+cells as compared with control subjects in acute phase (0.87 ± 0.66％ vs.3.88 ± 2.00％,P ＜ 0.01 and 1.17 ± 0.70％ vs.3.88 ±2.00％,P ＜0.01,respectively).The levels of CD4+CD25+FoxP3+cells in severe children were lower than those in non-severe children in acute phase and recovery phase (0.87 ±0.66％ vs.1.17 ±0.70％,P ＜0.05 and 1.66 ±0.85％ vs.3.61 ± 1.45％,P＜0.01,respectively).Both severe children and non-severe children expressed higher CD4+CD25+FoxP3+cells in recovery phase than in acute phase (1.66 ± 0.85 ％ vs.0.87 ± 0.66％,P ＜0.01 and 3.61 ± 1.45％ vs.1.17 ±0.70％,P ＜0.01,respectively).Conclusion The expression of CD4+CD25+FoxP3+Tregs may play a role in the onset of severity of mycoplasma pneumonia and the low express of CD4+CD25+FoxP3+Tregs in children infected with M.pneumonia may increase the susceptibility to severe mycoplasma pneumonia.

Objective To identify the nursing interventions and activities for hemiplegic patients in various functions suffered from stroke,and guide clinical practice.Methods Review rehabilitation of evidence-based clinical practice and literature of hemiplegic patients,stroke patients in different functional states were continuously cared and recorded by a researcher.Nursing program was identified according to patients' functions and the sixth edition of Nursing Interventions Classification,8 experts were consulted by a questionnaire survey,which was based on the initial screened nursing interventions and activities,30 nurses and 41 experts were consulted then.Results The established nursing program included 20 interventions and 307 activities.80％-100％ nurses' opinions culminated in consensus on the selected interventions.The selected activities scored 4.00-5.00 in average,with the coefficient of variations ranging from 0.00 to 0.25.Conclusions The established nursing program is convenient to communication and could be a tool to guide the clinical nursing practice.

Objective To examine the caregivers' burden and quality of life (QOL) of main caregivers of patients with Parkinson's disease by analyzing caregiver and patient-related factors. Methods A total of 53 cases with Parkinson's disease seen from October 2012 to December 2013 in Yantaishan hospital of Yantai City were selected. Assessments: (a) EuroQol-5 questionnaires, including: EQ-5 dimensions (EQ -5d) and visual analogue scale (VAS). (b) Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale. (c) Hoehn-Yahr(H-Y) stage; (d) Parkinson's disease sleep scale (PDSS), 15 items; (e) Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAMD-14), Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMA-24); (f) Chinese version of Zarit caregiver burden interview. Results Spearman correlation analysis showed that the EQ-5D index and EQ-VAS negatively correlated with HAMD-14 of caregivers of Parkinson diseasepatients (r=- 0.318, - 0.046) (P<0.05), and negatively correlated with H-Y staging (r=-0.592, -0.531), UPDRSI (r=-0.434, -0.316) , UPDRS Ⅱ (r=0.521, 0.513) , UPDRS Ⅲ (r=0.520, 0.534), UPDRS Ⅳ (r=0.564, 0.509), PDSS in patients with Parkinson's disease (r=0.547, 0.490), HAMD-14 (r=0.315, 0.350), HAMA-24 (r=0.413, 0.401) of Parkinson's disease patients (P<0.05). Caregiver burden was related with HAMD-14 (r=0.496), HAMA-24 (r=0.551),H-Y stage (r=0.697), PDSS (r=0.659), UPDRS Ⅰ-Ⅳ (r=0.538, 0.668, 0.696, 0.600), EQ-5D index of Parkinson disease patients (r=0.682), EQ-VAS of Parkinson disease patients (r=0.670) (P<0.05); and positively related with anxiety of caregivers (r=0.275) , and a negative correlation with the caregivers' quality of lives (r=0.665) (P<0.05). Bivariate analyses showed significant correlations between caregiver burden and patients' sleep, scores of Parkinson's motor symptoms, and caregivers' depression. Based on multiple regression analysis, Zarit score proved to be the main predictor of caregivers' QOL. Caregivers' age, total numbers of caregivers and H-Y stage also proved to be a relevant factor. Conclusion Improvement of patient's sleep, motor symptoms anddepression might alleviate caregivers' strain. There is a correlation between caregivers' burden and QOL. QOL of caregivers can be improved through reducing their care-burden.

A HPLC method of analysis of Monascus citrinin was established. More than 30 strains of Monascus spp. were cultured in steamed rice at solid state or in MSG liquid medium composed of monosodium glutamate as sole nitrogen source and glucose as sole carbon to investigate their ability of producing citrinin. The results indicated that most of the Monascus strains are able to produce citrinin. MSG medium can be used as a specific culture medium to qualitatively identify if the strain is the potential citrinin producer. But to confirm whether the Monascus strains are potential citrinin producers, these strains should be cultured in several cultivation methods, as the culture states and culture conditions influence the citrinin production greatly.
