Ureaplasma urealyticum(UU)is one of the most common pathogen in childbearing age women.The proportion of neonate especially premature baby infected with UU is increasing yearly.UU infaction is related with premature labour,low birth weight,bronchopulmonary dysplasia,chronic lung disease,respiratory distress syndrome and other perinatal diseases by promoted the expression of inflammatory cytokines,increasing the inflammatory response and interfering inflammation clear.There still has controversial point to treat perinatal diseases caused by UU infection by erythromycin,azithromycin,pulmonary surfactant,steroid.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of medical therapy in the patients with osteoporotic vertebrae fracture. Methods The patients suffered from vertebrae fracture and had undergone percutaneous vertebroplasty operation were reviewed from May, 2006 to December, 2009. Informations were collected via case evaluation and telephone interview, regarding dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry(DXA), calcium and vitamin D supplementation,and anti-osteoporosis drugs treatment. Patients with fracture induced by trauma and tumor metastasis were excluded. Results Among 253 patients, DXA was performed only in 3.6% of patients. Calcium and vitamin D supplements were prescribed in 9.5% and 6.7% of patients, respectively. Anti-osteoporosis drugs were prescribed in 36% of patients, of them 27.5%, 29.7%, 2.2%, and 3.3% received bisphosphonate, calcitonin, ossotide, and traditional Chinese drugs respectively. 37. 4% of patients could not recall the name of the drug they had received. Conclusions Most patients with osteoporotic vertebrae fracture do not receive adequate anti-osteoporosis drugs or appropriate evaluation. More care should be given to the patients with vertebrae fracture, with regard to adequate drug treatment and appropriate evaluation in order to prevent future fractures.

Objective To Analyze the imaging characteristics of intraparenchymal schwannoma and the related pathology,in order to improve the accuracy of diagnosis and be in favor of the clinics and the prognosis.Methods Four cases were confirmed to be intraparenchymal schwannoma by pathological and immunohistochemistry examination.One case was examined with precontrast and enhanced CT scanning,one with unenhanced MRI scanning,two with unenhanced and enhanced CT and MRI scanning.Their images were retrospectively analyzed.Results Of the four cases,three patients were less than 30 years old,with tumors located supratentorially.Cysts were found in all cases,with nodules on the wall in 3 cases.The nodules were enhanced markedly in two cases and moderately in one ease.In addition,calcification was detected in one case and prominent peritumoral edema existed in 1 case.The picture of the pathology demonstrated Antoni type A and Antoni type B.Immunostaining showed intense immunoreactivity for S-100 protein and Vim and negative immunoreactivity for GFAP and EMA.Conclusions Intraparenchymal schwannoma mostly occurred in juvenile,which located supratentorially in most cases.The presence of a cyst and peritumoral edema together with the tumor appears to be characteristic of intraparenchymal schwannoma.Calcification or the enhanced nodule is the helpful sign for the diagnosis.Combining the imaging findings with the pathology and immunohistochemistry results can gain the accurate diagnosis.

Objective To investigate the effect of angiotensin Ⅱ(Ang Ⅱ)on the expression of integrin-linked kinase(ILK)in rat glomerular mesangial cells.Methods SD rat glomerular mesangial cells were separated and cultured.They were treated with 10-7 mol/L Ang Ⅱ in various time-point(0,12,24,48,72 h),and then cultured rat glomerular mesangial cells were treated 48 h with Ang Ⅱ in various concentration(0,10-11,10-9,10-7,10-5 mol/L).Then total protein expression in rat glomerular mesangial cells stimulated by Ang Ⅱ at every time-point and every concentration-point was extracted.The expression of ILK protein was measured by Western blot.Results 1.Expression of ILK protein in rat glomerular cells stimulated by Ang Ⅱ in various time-point,or various concentration was significantly increased.In group of 10-7 mol/L Ang Ⅱstimulated cells,the protein semiquantity of ILK at 0,12,24,48,72 h respectively was 0.18?0.02,0.37?0.07,0.90?0.10,1.73?0.12,and 1.72?0.13(F=166.78 P

Objective To investigate CT features on increased cerebral vascular density and its pathological mechanism in patients with cyanotic congenital heart disease(CCHD).MethodsPreoperative brain CT scan and clinical data in 82 patients suffering from CCHD were analyzed. According to the increased levels of vascular density,patients were divided into 4 groups:normal,mild,moderate and severe.Relationships between the increased levels of vascular density and Hb,RBC,HCT,as well as the degree of cyanosis,were studied.AVONA was carried out to test blood CT value of cerebral sinuses,Hb,RBC and HCT in different groups. Descriptive analysis and linear regression were adopted to study the correlation between blood CT value and Hb concentration.The relationship of increased vascular density todegrees of cyanosis was analysed by Spearman.Results Among 82 patients,12 patients ( 14.6％ ) werefound in the group of normal vascular density and 70 patients ( 85.4％ ) in the increased vascular density group.Among 70 patients with increased vascular density,22 patients (26.8％ ) with (55.4 ± 2.6) HU,(169 ±6)g/L of Hb,(5.8 ±0.3) × 1012/L of RBC and 0.51 ±0.03 of HCT,29 patients (35.4％) with (61.3 ± 2.9) HU,(209 ± 15 ) g/L,(7.1 ± 0.4) × 1012/L,0.66 ± 0.06 and 19 patients ( 23.2％ ) with ( 68.8 ± 4.2) HU,( 242 ± 23 ) g/L,( 8.3 ± 0.9 ) × 1012/L,0.78 ± 0.08 were observed in the mild,moderateand severe group,respectively.There were significant differences in distribution of blood CT value ( HU),Hb,RBC and HCT in different groups ( F =163.263,134.703,120.974,136.541 ;P ＜ 0.01 ).Blood CT value was positively correlated with Hb concentration ( r =0.98,P ＜ 0.01 ). Vascular density was also positively correlated with the degree of cyanosis ( r =0.86,P ＜ 0.01 ). Conclusions Cerebral vascular density of patients suffering from CCHD presented different levels of increases based on CT scan results due to rise of RBC stimulated by anoxia.The increased level of vascular density was positively correlated with blood Hb concentration,and also associated with RBC accunulation caused by abnormal blood circulation.Moreover,it was positively correlated with the degree of cyanosis.

Objective To lay the foundation for further exploration on parasitifer's defence reaction to pneumolysin through constructing ply gene-deletion strain of Streptococcus pneumoniae and researching on its virulence change. Methods A linker fragment with erm gene in middle and homologous upstream and downstream fragment of ply gene at both sides was prepared by long flanking homology-polymerase chain reaction(LFH-PCR). The linker fragment was transformed into Streptococcus pneumoniae. ply-deficient strain was then screened out from blood plate which contains erythromycin and identified by PCR. ply-deficient strain growth in vitro was observed and virulence change was observed through infecting mouse model. Results PCR results showed that ply gene was replaced completely by erm gene. The ply deficient strain was successfully constructed. The growth of single strain culture medium showed that ply genetic defect made no influence on bacterial's external growth. While in the mice nasal cavity infecting experiment, deficient strain enter into blood after 6 h from infecting which obviously slower than that did wild-type(2 h). And the number of bacteria at each point was much smaller than that of wild-type(P ＜0. 01 ). The mice peritonaeum infecting experiment showed that median lethal time of wild-type was 3 d, while that of deficient strain was 18 d(P＜0. 01). Conclusion It is a good way to completely substitute ply gene using LFH-PCR. ply deletion made no influence on baterial's growth in vitro, but it resulting in reduction of bacterial virulence in vivo.

Objective To explore the relationship of proteinuria,immunopathogenesis and humoral immunity in children with Henoch-schonlein purpura nephritis(HSPN).Methods Serum IgG,IgA,IgM,C3 and C4 levels were detected with complete-automatic biochemistry analyzer in 47 children with HSPN and 18 heathy children,and the differences in the findings were compared among groups.The levels of IgG,IgA,IgM,C3 and C4 were compared among groups according to the count of proteinuria.The renal tissues were adopteded with immunity in the children with HSPN were taken for biospy examination,and the differences in immunopathalogy were compared among groups with immunof-luorescence assay.Results The IgG,IgA levels in children with HSPN were higher than those of heathy children,on the contrary,the IgM,C3 and C4 levels were lower than those of heathy children(Pa0.05),but the IgM level of the nephritic syndrome group were higher than that of other groups(Pa0.05).Conclusions There is severe disturbance of immunologic function in children with HSPN.There is no connections among serum IgG,IgA,IgM,C3 and C4 levels,proteinuria and renal immunopathlogy.

Objective To introduce a kind of operative technique in repair for the prolapse of the anterior mitral valve leaflet.Methods From January 2004 to October 2010,the operation of chordal transfer based on theedge-to-edge technique was performed in 18 cases with serious mitral valve regurgitation because of prolapse of the anterior leaflet.First,the edge-to-edge suturing was performed at the free edge of the prolapsed anterior leaflet with corresponding posterior leaflet.After that,quadrangular resection was performed to transfer these segments of posterior leaflet with its attached chordae.At last,the posterior leaflet was repaired after a quadrangular resection which would be much easier for the surgeons.After the operation,echocardiography was performed in each patient before discharge and at the time of follow-up.Results All patients survived after the operation,1 case required the rnitral valve replacement because of anterior leaflet performation occurring 3 days after the operation,1 case with hemoglobinuria and 1 case with low cardiac output,who all got symptomatic treatment afterwards.All the other patients were well discharged.At the time of follow-up,all of the patients were in NYHA functional class I.In all these patients,pre-discharge and follow-up echocardiography showed neither stenosis nor significant regurgitation of the mitral valve:the cross-sectional area of the mitral valve was 2.8-4.8 (3.78 +0.52) cm2,the mean regurgitation area was (0.45 +0.22) cm２.At the same time,both dimension of left atrium and left ventricular reduced significantly [ left atrium diameter:pre-operation ( 48.26 + 11.12 ) mm,post-operation ( 37.57 ± 9.56) mm (P ＝ 0.028 );the end-diastolic diameter of the left ventricular:pre-operation(61.43 ± 8.24) mm,post-operation (42.35 ±10.79) mm (P＝0.008)].Conclusion Chordal transfer based on the edge-to-edge technique provides good results for repair of anterior leaflet prolapse.
