1.Relationship between alexithymia and patients' satisfaction in anterior esthetic restorations
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2011;20(5):431-433
Objective To analyze the relationship between alexithymia and patients' satisfaction under the condition of good quality in the esthetic characters. Methods 211 patients requiring single anterior tooth restoration were treated with all ceramic crowns which were assessed by the good and moderate degrees. Patients received 20-item Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20) and a visual analogue scale assessing patients' satisfaction (VAS). Chi-squared analysis, correlation analysis and the general linear modeling procedure were calculated for TAS total and factors scores according to age, gender and dichotomized satisfaction. Results 85. 3% patients belonged to the high satisfaction group(VAS scores 80 or higher) and 7.1% reported alexithymia ( total score 61 or higher). No difference across gender was observed in the prevalence of alexithymia and satisfaction. Age was correlated with the TAS scores ( r=0.629) and satisfaction scores ( r= -0.429). According to dichotomized satisfaction,TAS total and factor 1&2 scores were significantly different. When adjusting for the effect of age,the association was existed between TAS scores and san'sfaction( r= -0.68). Conclusion Alexithymia has effect on dental satisfaction.
2.Effect of glucagon like peptide 1 receptor agonist on blood glucose fluctuation and oxidative stress
Clinical Medicine of China 2016;32(8):746-749
Objective Oxidative stress which participates in the development of diabetes and its complications can induce inflammation and increase the damage and apoptosis on cells and tissue by influencing multiple signaling pathways?Blood glucose fluctuation increased oxidative stress and aggravated damage and apoptosis on cells? The roles of glucagon?like peptide?1 ( GLP?1) receptor agonist can improve blood glucose fluctuation by playing multiple system physiological effects, such as,delaying gastric emptying, reducing appetite, food intake and body weight, enhancing glucose dependent insulin secretion, inhibiting glucose dependent glucagon secretion? In addition,GLP?1 can reduce oxidative stress state by reducing the reactive oxygen species, inhibiting oxidase activity,up?regulating anti?oxidative stress genes, increasing the level of antioxidant enzymes.
3.The relationship between professional commitment, time management disposition and learning burnout of the rural medical orientation undergraduate students
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2014;(11):1023-1026
Objective To investigate the rural medical orientation undergraduate student's professional commitment, time management disposition and learning burnout and the relationship between them. Methods Use the college students' learning Burnout scale, adolescence time management disposition Questionnaire and College Students'professional commitment scale, survey of Xinxiang Medical University grade 2010 ~2012,739 valid ques?tionnaires, the questionnaire has 92. 61% efficiency. Results Three scores were normally distribution. Learning burnout was the medium level, the average score of each entry was 2.88±0.45,and moderate and above level learn?ing burnout ratio was 45.06%. The average score of time management disposition was 3.45±0.43. Professional com?mitment level was higher, the average score was 3.82±0.43 for each item. Affective commitment, ideal commitment, the sense of time efficacy and the sense of time control have entered on the learning burnout of the stepwise regres?sion equation, and four variables together explained 44.0% of the variance in the dependent variable. Time manage?ment disposition, the professional commitment and learning burnout were negatively correlated, but between time management disposition and professional commitment is positively related, professional commitment, the variance explained by variables of learning burnout was 30.12%. Conclusion The rural medical orientation of undergradu?ate students time management disposition are important factors of learning burnout, which has the forecast function to the learning burnout. Professional commitment is part of the intermediary variables.
4.Progress on the relationship between Foxp3 and malignant tumor treatment
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2014;(9):608-610
The expression of transcription factor forkhead box protein 3 (Foxp3) is predominantly restricted to the CD25+CD4+population in both the thymus and periphery. Limited evidence indicated that Foxp3 is also expressed, albeit to a lesser extent, in the tis-sues outside of the thymus and spleen. However, recent studies showed that Foxp3 is expressed in many tumor cells, and has a definite relation with the occurrence, progress, and prognosis of malignant tumors. Foxp3 has become a popular topic in research on malignant tumor treatment, thereby bringing a new turning point for malignant tumor therapy.
5.Effect of Amylum Pregelatinisatum on the Dissolution of Calcium Dobesilate Capsule
China Pharmacy 1991;0(01):-
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of amylum pregelatinisatum on the dissolution of calcium dobesilate capsule.METHODS:The amount of amylum pregelatinisatum was optimized by means of the determination of angle of repose and the in vitro dissolution, using the single factor design. The comparisons of effects of different manufactory of amylum pregelatinisatum on formulation and dissolution of capsule were done.RESULTS:Amylum pregelatinisatum could improve significantly the fluidity of powder of capsule. The dissolution of calcium dobesilate capsule were decreased with the increment of amylum pregelatinisatum. It demonstrated that the fluidity of powder and dissolution of calcium dobesilate capsule were the best when the ratio of amylum pregelatinisatum and microcrystalline cellulose was 1∶3 and the amount of sodium carboxymethyl starch was 4 %.The different resource of amylum pregelatinisatum had great effect on the dissoution of the formulation.CONCLUSION:Amylum pregelatinisatum is a favourable filler adjuvant of capsule, but its quantity and the quality should make an optimization.
6. Effects of Panax notoginseng saponins on hydrogen peroxide-induced apoptosis in cultured rabbit bone marrow stromal cells
Academic Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University 2010;22(1):25-29
Objective: To investigate the effects of Panax notoginseng saponins (PNS) on hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)-induced apoptosis in cultured rabbit bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs). Methods: BMSCs from 3-month-old New Zealand rabbits were isolated and cultured by the density gradient centrifugation combined with adherent method. The cultured BMSCs were divided into three groups: normal control, H2O2 treatment (100 μmol/L), and PNS pretreatment (0.1 g/L). Intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels as the index of oxidative stress were measured by using 2′7′-dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate. Flow cytometry was used to observe the apoptosis of BMSCs by staining with annexinV-FITC/PI. The protein expression of Bax in BMSCs was analyzed by Western blotting. Activity of caspase-3 enzyme was measured by spectrofluorometry. Results: Pretreatment with PNS significantly decreased intracellular ROS level induced by H 2O2 (P<0.01). PNS markedly attenuated H 2O2-induced apoptosis rate from 38.68% to 19.24% (P<0.01). PNS reversed H2O2-induced augmentation of Bax expression. Furthermore, PNS markedly reduced the altered in activity of caspase-3 enzyme induced by H2O2 (P<0.01). Conclusion: PNS has a protective effect on hydrogen peroxide-induced apoptosis in cultured rabbit BMSCs by scavenging ROS and decreasing Bax expression and caspase-3 activity.
