1.Analysis on diseases interfering treponema pallidum antibody detection by chemiluminescence
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2017;38(7):939-940
Objective To explore the interference situation of several diseases in the detection of treponema pallidum antibody by chemiluminescence method. Methods One hundred and ten samples of 9 kinds of different infectious diseases and 200 clinical random samples were collected.Three hundreds and ten samples were simultaneously detected by using the Abbott ARCHITECT i2000 automatic chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer and matched reagents, and the Roche E602 automatic chemiluminescence instrument and its matching reagent. The samples of inconsistent results were confirmed by the gelatin particle agglutination test (TPPA).Results There were 5 samples with inconsistent results detected by two instruments,5 samples confirmed by TPPA were negative, and 4 cases were the samples of multiple myelome. Conclusion (1)Abbott ARCHITECT i2000 and Roche E602 have a good consistency in detecting treponema pallidum antibody;(2)for the patients of multiple myeloma, the interference may exist in detecting treponema pallidum antibody by chemiluminescence method, which may cause false positive results and needs to be vigilant in our daily work.

China Oncology 2001;0(05):-
Purpose:To study the malignant probability of a solitary thyroid nodule, probable risk factor, the status of B-mode ultrasonography, computed tomography, fine needle aspiration and frozen section in the operation and other adjuvant examination in the diagnosis. Methods:In the retrospective analysis of 902 cases of solitary thyroid nodule treated by surger- y and diagnosed by pathology in the Cancer Hospital of Fudan University from March 1998 to May 2001,we analyzed the value of B-mode ultrasonography, computed tomography, fine needle aspiration and frozen section in the operation and com- pared them with the final pathological conclusion. Results:This disease occurred mostly in 20~50 years old women, while the malignant nodules occurred more frequently in men(P50 years) (P50 years) is a risk factor.B-mode ultrasonography can be used as routine preoperative examination.CT is valuable in the cases with metastasis to neck lymph nodules. With FNA the pathological diagnosis of the nodule suspected to be malignant can be made preoperatively.

Objective To examine expression of PTEN gene in ovarian cancer cisplatin-sensitive cell line OV2008 cells and cisplatin-resistant cell line C13K cells, and evaluate the effect of wild-type PTEN gene on reversing cisplatin-resistance of C13K cells and underlying mechanisms. Methods The expression of PTEN mRNA and protein in OV2008 and C13K cells were detected by semi-quantitative RT-PCR and western blot.Recombinant eukaryotic expression plasmid containing human wild-type PTEN gene was transfected into C13K cells by lipofectamine 2000.The expression of PTEN mRNA was monitored by RT- PCR and the expression of PTEN,protein kinase B(AKT),phospho-AKT(p-AKT)protein were analyzed by western blot in PTEN transfected and untransfected C13K cells.Proliferation and chemosensitivity of cells to cisplatin were measured by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium(MTT),and cell apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry after treatment with cisplatin.Results(1)The expression of PTEN mRNA and protein(1.02 ?0.05,1.02?0.07)in OV2008 cells were significantly higher than those in C13K cells, which were 0.45 ?0.03 and 0.55?0.03 respectively(P

The digital X-ray imaging device was disinfected with trichloro-isocyanuric acid solution. The samples were taken with cotton swab pouring method before and 1,2,3 and 6 h after disinfection and the bacteriological examination was performed. Before disinfection the colony count of samples was all above the standard (> 10 cfu/cm2) with bacilli and gram-positive cocci predominantly. The highest count was detected in the X-ray photographic bed (58 cfu/cm2) and the lowest was in the exposure button(19 cfu/cm2).After disinfection the colony count in radiation suits still exceeded the standard, the colony count in diagnosis bed 2 h after disinfection, that in all parts of device 3 h after disinfection was off levels. The results indicate that the chlorine disinfectants can only achieve short-term effect in disinfection of digital X-ray imaging device.

ObjectiveUsing large sample clinical study to reevaluate the safety and efficacy of recombinant human growth hormone(ANSOMONE) in treating pediatric growth hormone deficiency(GHD).Methods1012 cases were administered with ANSOMONE at a dose of 0.1 IU · kg-1 · d -1 in bedtime for 6 months. The alteration of mean height, growth rate, height standard deviation scores, bone age,and anti-GH antibody and occurrence of adverse effects were observed.ResultsThe growth rate was promoted from ( 2.50 ± 0.85 ) cm/year to ( 13.44 ± 4.27 ) cm/year,the net growth rate was( 10.94 ±3.69)cm/year.There was significant difference between the pre-treatment and post-treatment patients ( P < 0.01 ).The post-treatment anti-GH antibody positive rate was 13.34%,which had no obvious effect on the efficacy.Few patients exert transient inflammation reactions, which disappeared with any treatment.ConclusionANSOMONE had significant efficacy, and could promote the height increase obviously. It had good safety without any obvious side effect and early-maturing effect.
