Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;19(7):970-971
ObjectiveTo determine the role of low-field magnetic resonance angiography(MRA) in diagnosis of intracranial artery steno-occlusive disease in patients with cerebral infarction.Methods67 cases with cerebral infarction were given low-field MRA and DSA examination.Results62 cases of cerebral infarction MRA diagnosis and DSA agree, diagnostic accuracy was 92.5%.ConclusionLow-field MRA has a good reliability in diagnosis of intracranial artery steno-occlusive disease with the advantages of safe, reliable and convenient, can provide effective instruction for treatment of cerebral infarction.

Objective To investigate and evaluate the pathological features and diagnostic significance of MSCT findings in scan postprocessing for focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH).Methods A total of 24 patients with FNH who underwent MSCT scan post processing were investigated. The FNH were pathologically and clinically confirmed. Results There are single focus in 22 cases and multiple focus in 2 cases. On plane scan 16 lesions were hypodensity and other 7 isodensity,4 hyperdensity( cases with fatty liver). After contrast,17 lesions were evenly high enhanced on arterial phase;13 lesions showed still hyperdensity and other 10 lesions isodensity,4 lesions hypodensity on parenchymatous phase.Only 5 lesions were hyperdensity but 9 lesions isodensity and 13 lesions hypodensity on delayed phase.Twelve lesions in 27 were detected with central stella-formed cicatrix. There were thickening tumor feeding arteries in 24 lesions, the artery of which were entered integrated into parenchymatous lesions with soft course. Conclusion Synthesizing the charcteristic appearance on MSCT scan postprocessing, doctor could make correct diagnosis and differentiated diagnosis for FNH.

Objective To observe the effect of curcumin on the expression of smad7 and TGF-β1 in rats renal tubular cells of with Ang II, and discuss the mechanism of curcumin to improve renal interstitial fibrosis. Methods Cultured rat renal tubular epithelial cells were divided into the blank group, the Ang II control group and the low, medium and high dose curcumin group. The rest of the groups were intervened by 10-8 mol/L Ang II except the blank group; the low, medium and high dose groups of curcumin were intervened by 2.5, 5.0, 10.0μmol/L curcumin. Then Western blot was used to detect the expression of TGF-β1 and smad7 protein, RT-PCR was used to detect the TGF-β1 and smad7 mRNA expression. Results Compared with the blank group, the expression of TGF-β1 protein (0.23 ± 0.03vs. 0.16 ± 0.01), and TGF-β1 mRNA (1.89 ± 0.20vs. 1.00 ± 0.00) significantly increasedin AngⅡ control group (P<0.05), and the expression of smad7 protein (0.19 ± 0.03vs. 0.24 ± 0.02), and smad7 mRNA (0.48 ± 0.05vs. 1.00 ± 0.00) significantly reduced in AngⅡcontrol group (P<0.05). Compared with the AngⅡ control group, the expression of TGF-β1 protein in low, medium and high dose curcumingroup (0.18 ± 0.02, 0.17 ± 0.02, 0.16 ± 0.03vs. 0.23 ± 0.03) and TGF-β1 mRNA (1.58 ± 0.11, 1.34 ± 0.16, 0.97 ± 0.19vs. 1.89 ± 0.20) significantly decreased (P<0.05), and the expression of smad7 protein (0.28 ± 0.04, 0.31 ± 0.03, 0.34 ± 0.04vs. 0.19 ± 0.03) and smad7 mRNA (0.68 ± 0.07, 0.80 ± 0.06, 0.98 ± 0.09vs.0.48 ± 0.05) increased significantly (P<0.05).Conclusions Curcumin can thus play its role in renal protection by counteract the AngⅡ mediated renal interstitial fibrosis. Its mechanism may be related to the reduction of TGF-β1 protein and its mRNA expression, up regulation of smad7 protein and its mRNA expression.

OBJECTIVE: To observe the clinical efficacy of Ginkgo biloba exocarp polysaccharides (GBEP) capsule preparation in treating upper digestive tract malignant tumors of middle and late stage. METHODS: Eighty-six patients of the upper digestive tract malignant tumors were treated with GBEP capsule preparation taken orally. The clinical symptoms and the qualities of life of the patients with single GBEP and combined with operation, radiotherapy or intervention chemotherapy were observed. The tumor size was measured by electronic gastroscope before and after treatment with single GBEP. Objective response rate (RR) of the tumor was calculated. The survival period of patient was observed. The changes of blood routine examination in the patients treated with radiotherapy were observed. RESULTS: GBEP preparation could markedly improve the patients'clinical symptoms. Karnofsky scoring of the patients markedly increased after treatment. There were 2 CR (complete response, 6.3%), 22 PR (partial response, 68.8%)and 5 SD (stable disease, 15.6%) of 32 cases with single GBEP preparation. The survival periods of the 32 cases were markedly prolonged. The preparation could relieve the inhibited hematopietic function and the weight loss due to radiotherapy. CONCLUSION: GBEP capsule preparation has some definite therapeutic effects on upper digestive tract malignant tumors of middle and late stage.

Objective? To explore the effects of ideation and imitation behavior training on rehabilitation in patients with chronic schizophrenia. Methods?Totally 200 schizophrenia patients admitted and treated in 2016 from Fuzhou Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital were selected and equally randomized to treatment group (n=100) and control group (n=100) according to the random number table. Patients in the control group received conventional nursing, while patients in the treatment group received ideation and imitation behavior training for 8 weeks on this basis. Wisconsin Card Sorting Test (WCST), Nurses' Observation Scale for Inpatient Evaluation (NOISE) and Personal and Social Performance Scale (PSP) were used to compare the rehabilitation effects between the two groups. Results? After intervention for 8 weeks, the score for correct response in WCSI in patients in the treatment group was (24.78±7.39), higher than that of patients in the control group, and the score for continuous mistakes in WCSI in patients in the treatment group was (14.78±5.27), lower than that of patients in the control group (t=3.800, 3.640;P<0.01). After intervention for 8 weeks, the scores for NOISE (200.06±26.09) and PSP (79.83±4.21) in patients in the treatment group were higher than those of patients in the control group (t=6.880, 19.040;P<0.01). Conclusions?Ideation and imitation behavior training helps to improve the patients' cognitive performance, including attention, memory, linguistic competence and reasoning ability, as well as self-care ability of daily living and social function, and promotes chronic schizophrenia patients' rehabilitation.
