Objective To determine the effect of GnRH Ⅰ and GnRH Ⅱ on the secretion of VEGF by eutopic and ectopic endometrial stromal cells cultured in vitro, and to provide theoretical basis for exploring new treatments for endometriosis (EMs).Methods Eutopic and ectopic endometrium stromal cells cultured in vitro were treated with different concentrations of GnRH Ⅱ and a GnRH I(goserelin), and a control group was not treated by GnRH Ⅱ and GnRH Ⅰ. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to measure the content of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) protein in the medium of the above 2 groups. Results (1)There was no difference in the VEGF protein secreted by eutopic and ectopic stromal cells in the medium after being cultured in vitro for 48 h (P>0.05).(2)10-10, 10-8, and 10-6mol/L GnRH Ⅱ dose-dependently reduced VEGF protein secreted by endometrial stromal cells (P<0.05),and the inhibition effect was stronger than that of GnRH Ⅰ (P<0.05).(3)The inhibition effect of GnRH Ⅱ on VEGF in ectopic stromal cells was stronger than that of eutopic stromal cells (P<0.05).Conclusion (1)Ectopic stromal cells cultured in vitro can secrete VEGF,which has no difference from the eutopic stromal cells, and which may play an important role in the formation and development of EMs.(2)GnRH Ⅱ can dose-dependently reduce VEGF protein secreted by ectopic and eutopic endometrial stromal cells cultured in vitro, and the inhibition effect is stronger than that of GnRH Ⅰ, providing theoretical basis for exploring new treatments for EMs.

AIM: To investigate the role of nuclear factor kappa B (NF-?B) inhibitor in the responsiveness of isolated pulmonary artery rings to protein kinase C (PKC) in rats with hypoxia-induced pulmonary hypertension. METHODS: The pulmonary artery rings removed endothelium were prepared from model rats with hypoxia-induced pulmonary hypertension and control rats. The effects of PKC activator PMA (0.5 ?mol/L) time-response cures and NF-?B inhibitor PDTC (0- 1 000 ?mol/L) concentration-response cures on pulmonary artery rings were observed. The responsiveness of each ring was tested by applying a maximally effective concentration of phenylephrine (10 ?mol/L). Data were calculated as relative ratio by the maximally responseness ( P_0 ) setting at 100%,and the relative responseness tensions to PMA and PDTC were derived by dividing by the counts in P_0. t_ 1/2 and T show the time achieving half-maximal response and lasting maxima response to 0.5 ?mol/L PMA,respectively. RESULTS: mPAP and RV/(LV+S) in hypoxia group were greater than those in control group ( P

Objective To establish the rat model of collagen-induced arthritis and study the diagnostic value of MRI for early RA by comparing to pathological changes. Methods Thirty Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal groups and experimental groups.Fifteen rats of the experimental groups were immunized with type Ⅱ collagen and Freund's Adjuvant Incomplete. At the scheduled days, the selected rats of both experimental and normal groups underwent X-ray, 1.5T MR scan plus enhancement and histological analysis. Results Arthritis Index increased on the 14th day after immunization and reached the peak on the 28th day in the experimental group, the positivity of Anti-CⅡ antibody was significantly different from the normal group. The experiemental model was established in 93.33% of all rats. The enhanced MRI showed that 12 (12/15) rats presented with abnormal signs . The sensitivity of MRI was 85.71% and the specificity was 100%. There was no significant correlation could be found between MRI and histological changes X-ray revealed soft tissue swollen in 4 (4/15) rats, which showed that MRI had higher sensitivity in detecting abnormal signs of arthritis than X-ray. Conclusion MRI may be used in the early diagnosis of early RA.

Ovarian vein thrombosis (OVT) is a rare, insidious and dangerous disease mostly occurs in the postpartum period. Early diagnosis and timely treatment are very important and may avoid serious complications. Here we reported a woman who had a fever and left back pain three days after vaginal delivery. Enhanced CT suggested that thrombosis occurred in the left ovarian vein, and even the renal vein was involved. Thrombus susceptibility gene detection revealed that the plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 gene was 4G/5G heterozygous genotype and the 5,10- methylenetetra-hydrofolate reductase gene was C/T heterozygous genotype. Anticoagulant treatments with low-molecular-weight heparin and rivaroxaban were effective.
