1.Determination of Naringin in Fructus Ponciri Trifoliatae Immaturi Collected in Different Seasons

Objective To study the best collected time of fructus ponciri trifoliatae determine the naringin in it by RP-HPLC method. Methods The hypersil ODS C18 (250 mm?4.6 mm, 25 ?m) column was used. The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid (21∶79), the detection wavelength was 283 nm. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min. Result The calibration curve of naringin was in good linearity over 0.164 4~0.832 0 ?g, and the regression equation was Y =156 681X -84 834 (r =0.999 9). The average recovery was 98.49%, and RSD=2.68%. Conclusions The method is simple, quick, sensitive, accurate, reproducible and can be used to control the quality. Fructus ponciri trifoliatae should be collected in the beginning and middle of June.
2.Application of BP neural network to medical equipment demand forecast

An initial forecast model of BP neural networks is established, and is trained using the history data of our hospital inventory. This model is applied to forecasting the demand of medical equipment in Daping Hospital. The result indicates that the inventory cost is reduced enormously. The model is useful in the purchase and inventory management of medical equipment.
3.Screening and Identification of Interaction Partner of Cytoplasmic Domain of L1

L1 cell adhesion molecular is a type Ⅰ membrane glycoprotein of immunoglobulin superfamily. L1 is expressed mainly in nervous system and plays important roles in nervous system development, learning and memory. L1 cytoplasmic domain (L1CD) is important for L1 function by mediating signaling. To investigate the molecular mechanisms of signaling mediated by L1CD, yeast two-hybrid assay was carried out to screen the human brain cDNA library using L1CD as the bait. After sequence analysis and BLAST, several candidates were identified. One candidate is PAX6 transcription factor. L1CD and PAX6 cDNA were cloned in expression vectors and cotransfected into COS-7 cells. The interaction between L1CD and PAX6 was verified by co-immunoprecipitation assay. These preliminary results suggest that L1CD may be involved in transcription regulation.
4.Effects of taurine on metabolism of thyroid hormone in rates after exhaustive exercise

Objective To probe into protective action of taurine against exhaustive,exercise induced myocardial damage in rats.Methods Using the model of exhaustive exercise,the present study researches into the effects of taurine on the content of thyroid hormone(T3,T4)in serum and myocardium as well as T45'- DI activity in myocardium of rats.Results The content of T3 in serum and myocardium,T45'- DI activity in myocardium were significantly increased(P<0.01)while that of T4 in serum and myocardium had no significantly changed after exhaustive exercise,the supplement of taurine might significantly inhabits the changes.Conclusion Taurine could protect myocardium from exhaustive exercises induced damage by inhabiting hypermetabolism of thyroid hormone.

Fifty-four patients with greater occipital neuralgia were treated by faceup and rotationally pulling manipulation of cervical vertebra plus acupuncture on Fengchi (GB 20), Tianzhu (BL 10), Anmian (Ex-HN), Jiaji (Ex-B 2, C1 and C2), Naokong (GB 19), Yuzhen (BL 9) and Waiguan (TE 5) and all got effectiveness.
7.Advances in the pathogenesis and treatment of febrile seizures

Febrile seizures ( FS ) is a common convulsive disorder in infants and young children. It is clinically classified into simple febrile seizures(SFS)and complex febrile seizures(CFS). Although intensively investigated,it remains controversial on the etiology,pathogenesis,treatment,long-term prognosis of FS,even the definition itself is still under debate. This paper briefly reviews recent advances on the underlying mechanisms of FS,including involvement of genetic factors,role of ion channels,and immunologic and neurotransmitter dysreg-ulation. We also gathered some new insights on the treatment and prevention of FS,aiming to improve our under-standing of FS.
8.Clinical observation of corneal lamellar debridement combined with sutureless amniotic membrane transplantation for the treatment of superficial fungal keratitis

To evaluate the clinical efficacy of corneal lamellar debridement combined with sutureless amniotic membrane transplantation for the treatment of superficial fungal keratitis.
●METHODS:Totally 22 cases (22 eyes) with superficial fungal keratitis were referred to our hospital from April 2012 to October 2013. The patients with persistent cornea ulcer after treatment of local and systemic antifungal drugs underwent corneal lamellar debridement combined with sutureless amniotic membrane transplantation, and the recipient bed was covered with an amniotic membrane using fibrin sealant during the operation. All patients were still given topical antifungal therapy for 1 -2mo after operation. The followed- up time was 3mo or above. We observed the corneal healing and amniotic membrane adhesion by split lamp microscope, and investigated the transformation of amniotic membrane and fungal infection recurrence with confocal microscope.
●RESULTS: Corneal edema and anterior chamber reaction of 21 patients disappeared gradually, and no amniotic membrane graft dissolved and shed off within 1-2wk postoperatively. Two weeks after operation, the graft integrated into the corneal and the corneal wounds' thickness increased gradually, the corneal epithelium reconstructed and corneas became clear. Four weeks after operation, the corneal scarring developed gradually and fluorescence staining was negative. Nineteen cases' amniotic membranes that adhered with the cornea dissolved 4wk after operation. There were different degrees of corneal nebula or macula remained 3mo postoperatively. All patients' vision improved in varying degrees, except in 1 case with fungal keratitis who had been cured by lamellar keratoplasty.
●CONCLUSlON:Corneal lamellar debridement combined with sutureless amniotic membrane transplantation can effectively remove the foci of inflammation, improve the local efficacy, shorten the operation time, relieve the postoperative reaction, and promote cornea union, which is an effective way to treat superficial fungal keratitis.
