Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(04):-
Objective: To control the quality of Jinqiantonglin Oral Liquid and establish the determination of chlorogenic acid in the liquid. Methods: HPLC was used to determine the content of chlorogenic acid on ODS-2 column with a mobile phase of methanol-acetonitrile-water(10.5∶2.5∶87). pH was adjusted to 3.0 by acetic acid. UV detection wavelength was set at 325nm. Results: The linearity of chlorogenic acid standard was well and the average recovery was 100.07%, RSD was 1.47%(n=6). Conclusion: This method is convenient, quick, accurate and available for the quality control of Jinqiantonglin Oral Liquid

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(24):-
[Objective]To study NGF,BDNF gene modified bone marrowe stem cells transplantation with vein on spinal cord injury.[Method]Spinal cord injured rats were divided in to 3 groups.Group C consisted of the rats treated with the transplantation of modified NGF,BDNF genes BMSCs;group B of the rats with transplantation of BMSCs without genetic modification;group A of the rats without treatment and group D was the normal contral. At 2,6,10 weeks the rats were examined with GBS score and neurological function were tested.[Result]The vein with tintracord transplantation of modified BMSCs group was improved by the GBS score and neurological outcome of injured spinal cord was achieved well.[Conclusion]The vein with transplantation of modified NGF,BDNF genes BMSCs can recover of spinal cord injury.

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2001;0(04):-
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of retroperitoneal laparoscopic renal cystectomy. Methods A total of 80 patients with renal cyst were enrolled in this study.Under general anesthesia, the retroperitoneal cavity was established by using water-filled balloon. The renal cyst were exposed by identifying the psoas major muscle. The cysts were unroofed at 5 mm from the edge of the renal parenchyma with electrical claw. Results The operation was completed in all the cases without severe complications. The operation time was 20-100 min(mean 39 min),blood loss was 5-65 ml(mean 20 ml),and hospital stay was 4-11 d(mean 5.6 d).Postoperative pathological examination showed that all the cysts were simple renal cysts. The 80 patients were followed up for 2-24 months(mean 11 months),3 of them were diagnosed as having residual cyst at 2 months after the operation. Conclusion Retroperitoneal laparoscopic renal cystectomy is safe and effective and is superior in mild surgical trauma, quick recovery, and short hospitalization.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the method of medial transposition of the radial nerve in plate fixation of lower segment fracture of humerus.
METHODSFrom January 2010 to December 2013,31 patients with medial transposition of the radial nerve in plate fixation of lower segment fracture of humerus, including 18 males and 13 females ranging in age from 26 to 58 years old with a mean of 37 years old. The time between injury and operation was 1 to 8 days with an average of 4.5 days. According to AO classification, 7 fractures were type A1, 3 fractures were type A2, 6 fractures were type A3, 2 fractures were type B1, 4 fractures were type B2, 2 fractures were type B3, 4 fractures were type C, 3 fractures were type C2. No patients had any signs of radial nerve injury. The results were evaluated with DASH (disability of arm-shoulder-hand) Questionnaire by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) which 0 indicated normal upper extremity function, and 1 to 100 indicated varying degrees of damage to the function of the upper extremties.
RESULTSThere was no neurologic complication or postoperative wound infection in this series. The followed-up period ranged form 8 to 15 months (means 11 months) postoperatively. The clinical outcomes were evaluated with DASH Questionnaire, the score before operation was 76.2±11.8, the final follow-up score was 8.2±7.4, the final follow-up score was significant higher than before operation (P<0.01). The function of the upper extremities recovered satisfactorily.
CONSLUSIONThe method of medial transposition of the radial nerve in plate fixation of lower segment fracture of humerus can avoid iatrogenic radial nerve injury effectively.

Chinese Journal of Urology 2011;32(2):108-111
Objective To assess the outcomes of modified spiral ileal orthotopic neobladder. Methods From January 1998 to January 2008, 32 patients (all male) underwent radical cystectomy and spiral ileal orthotopic substitution for muscle invasive bladder cancer. A segment of 40 to 45 cm ileal loop was isolated, detubularized, and reconfigured in spiral shape to form a pouch. Bilateral ureters were reimplanted by inserting the 1 cm distal segment into the pouch to form a Split-Cuff nipple. The bottom of the pouch was opened and anastomosed with the urethra (4 stitches). Results There were no perioperative deaths. The mean operative time was 281.2±48.7 min. Blood loss was 545.4±181.9 ml. Twenty cases required a blood transfusion, the mean volume of intraoprative blood transfusion was 430.8±235.9 ml. The average hospital stays were 26.8±9. 7 days. Rate of daytime continence was 93. 7% (30/32) while nighttime continence was 81.3% (26/32). Urodynamic studies were carried out in 23 cases 6 months after surgery. Neobladder capacity at first desire to urinate was 315.0± 33.4 ml(270-420 ml). The maximum neobladder capacity was 490. 3±39.7 ml(350-600 ml).The maximum flow rate (Qmax) was 16.5 ± 5.9 ml/s. Full resting pressure was 22. 5 ± 11.8 cm H2O. Peak voiding pressure was 78.3 ± 14.7 cm H2O. After mean 58. 4 months' follow up (range 22 to 132), 4 cases died of metastasis of bladder cancer. Conclusion Modified spiral ileal orthotopic neobladder is a reasonable option for treating invasive bladder cancer.
