BACKGROUND: Super-resolution reconstruction has been extensively studied and used in many fields, such as medical diagnostics, military surveillance, frame freeze in video, and remote sensing.OBJECTIVE: In order to obtain high-resolution magnetic resonance images, gradient magnetic field is required and the signal-to-noise will be reduced due to the decrease in voxel size with traditional scan. The present study used a self-adaptive regularized super-resolution reconstruction algorithm to acquire high-resolution magnetic resonance images from four half-pixel-shifted low resolution images.METHODS: The least squares algorithm was used as a cost function. The dedvative of the cost function was calculated to obtain an iterative formula of super-resolution reconstruction. In the process of iterative process, the parameter and step size of image resolution were regularized.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The new regularization parameter makes cost function of the new algorithm convex within the definition region. The piori information is involved in the regularization parameter that can improve the high-frequency components of the restored image. As shown from the results obtained in the phantom imaging, the proposed super-resolution technique can improve the resolution of magnetic resonance image.

Objective To explore the design of forehead flap pedicled with supratrochlear artery and shift way for aesthetic reconstruction of the nose without secondary operations for debulking. Methods Origin of blood supplies and the distributed situation of the vessel in the frontal region were studied through the internal carotid artery and the external carotid artery X-ray angiography. The frontal region existed polyphyletic blood supplies, the supratrochlear artery and the supraorbital artery set out many branches, respectively,in the level of frontal bone eyebrow plane. One constant, thicker horizontal branch from the superficial temporal artery obviously extended to the forehead median. The branches from three blood vessels mentioned above constituted the network of artery adequate in the muscle and the subcutaneous tissue level, assumed the three-dimensional distribution in the forchead region. The nasal reconstruction had been done for 9 patients with the oblique orientation designed forehead flap by using one side of supratrochlear artery as the pedicle and cutting skin paddle with the same or the opposite side of forehead flap. Results All flap survived completely with the restoration of nasal shape and functional satisfaction. Conclusion The forehead oblique orientation flap pedicled with one side supratrochlear artery is nourished by the rich blood supply. The flap can be split into two flaps:a myofascial flap and a skin flap in far part.Myofascial flap may be the good package of cartilage framework, and simultaneously split skin flap is favorable of the shape models. The flap may satisfy the demand of the nasal restoration.

Objective: To evaluate the correlation between severity of symptom and SPL amounts in expressed prostatic secretion(EPS).Methods: A total of 164 men enrolled in the study.Scores of CPSI and Chinese medicine syndrome were used to assess the severity of symptom.SPL acounts in EPS were also measured. The correlation between scores of CPSI,Chinese medicine syndrome and SPL acounts in EPS were analyzed. Results: There was no linear correlation between scores of CPSI,Chinese medicine syndrome and SPL amounts in EPS(P

Objective To study the characteristic of TCM symptoms and syndrome patterns in SAP patients,to provide evidence for clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment and further research. Methods We collected the data of 121 cases of SAP patients from January 2012 to December 2015, including clinical characteristics and four diagnostic information of patients, to build a database, then we summarized the TCM syndrome patterns of SAP patients and compared them with the descriptions in the other literatures. Results SAP patients were characterized with lung and spleen and other viscera deficiency and sputum was still one of the important pathogenic factors. Conclusions TCM symptoms of SAP are characterized by phlegm heat, followed by lung and spleen deficiency, phlegm obstructing lung and blood stasis and pathological factors of SAP include phlegm, heat and deficiency, characterized by dampness and blood stasis.

Objective To study the effect of remote limb isehemic postconditioning (RLIPC) on posterior circulation ischemia vertigo (PCIV). Methods Seventy patients with PCIV, admitted to our hospital from January 2013 and June 2014, were randomly divided into control group and therapy group (n=35). The patients of control group were treated with routine medicine, and those of therapy group were treated with RLIPC and routine medicine. Before and after treatment, dizziness assessment rating scale (DARS) and dizziness handicap inventory (DHI) scale were used to evaluate the changes of manifestations; peak systolic velocity (PSV) and end diastolic velocity (EDV) of vertebra artery (VA) were evaluated by colour doppler ultrasound. Results Before treatment, no significant differences on DARS and DHI scores were noted between the two groups (P>0.05); after treatment, , the DARS and DHI scores in the therapy group were 26.03±4.24 and 60.91±10.15, respectively, which were significantly decreased as compared with those in the control group (28.80±5.16 and 68.11±12.44, t=2.388 and 2.584, P=0.000); PSV and EDV of VA in the therapy group were 49.97±7.69 and 16.90±2.80, respectively, which were significantly increased as compared with those in the control group (47.31±7.47 and 15.12± 2.74, t=-2.505 and-2.631, P=0.015 and 0.011). Conclusions RLIPC could alleviate the symptoms of PCIV, which might be related to increased blood flow of VA. RLIPC is simple and safe, and can be used in the treatment of PCIV.
