Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 1997;0(06):-
Objective To probe the value of absent or reversed diastolic flow in hepatic artery shown by Doppler sonography of recently transplanted liver in predicting subsequent hepatic artery thrombosis. Methods The records of 54 liver transplantations performed were retrospectively reviewed. The first Doppler study of every case was done within 24 h after transplantation and subsequently reviewed.Findings were categoried into one of three patterns: forward flow,no flow and reversed flow throughout diastole.Meantime, the flow status of portal vein of every case was studied by Doppler sonography. Results Of 54 liver transplants, 12 had aberrant diastolic flow in the hepatic artery after liver transplantation.Four had reversed flow and 8 showed no flow in diastole. In this group of 12 transplants, hepatic artery thrombosis was not developed. Conclusions Reversed or absent diastolic flow in hepatic artery of a recently transplanted liver has no correlation with subsequent hepatic artery thrombosis.

Chinese Journal of Digestive Endoscopy 1996;0(06):-
Objective The therapeutic effect for hemorrhage from esophageal varices(EV)with conservation, surgical intervention,EVL(esophageal variceal ligation)or TIPSS(transvenous intrahepatic portal systemic shunt)were compared. Methods The clinical materials of 72 patients with bleeding from EV were retrospectively reviewed. Results With octreotide(n=23) the rates of hemostasis within 48 hours and hospital mortality maintained 78.3 and 8.7 percent respectively.Rebleeding occurred within 7 days in 3/18 cases(16.7% ) and within 150 days in 6/18 cases(33.3% ),resulting in death in 4/18 instances;with emergency surgery death encountered in 4 out of 13 cases(30.8% ),while with elective operation no death could be traced,7.7 percent of the series with octreotide rebled within 1 year and 19.2 percent did so after 2 years;after EVL(n=8) the varices reduced obviously or eliminated in 75 percent without rebleeding and death in follow-up period of 1~ 33 months;EV disappeared or ameliorated immediately following TIPSS in 9 out of 10 successful cases, yet the rebleeding rate attained 30 and 80 percent within 1 and 5 years respectively. The stent was proved afterwards stenosed or obstructed by ultrasonography.Encephalopathy ensued in 40 percent of the cases with 6 deaths in 61 months. Conclusion It was assumed that octreotide exerted affimative effect in the control of acute bleeding, particularly indicated for patients who were too weak to have endoscopy in 24 hours after admission, however bleeding often recurred following the use;elective surgery might reduce the early rebleeding rate and prolong the interval of rebleeding;EVL was capable of eradicating EV with simplicity;TIPSS had poor long-term effect.

Objective To explore the regularity of changes of plasma endothelin (ET), throm-boxame B2(TXB2) and 6-keto-prostaglandin F1α(6-keto-PGF1α) and restenosis after percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTCA) in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods Radioimmunoas-say was applied to measuring plasma levels of ET, TXB2and 6-keto-PGF1αat 0,30 min, 1 day and 3 days after PTCA in 41 patients with coronary heart disease. Results The level of ET in the patients with coronary heart disease was significantly decreased in 30 minutes after PTCA (P<0.05), but no significant difference was observed in 1 day and 3 days after PTCA (P>0.05). The level of plasma TXB2has no statistical difference after PTCA in 30minutes, 1 day and 3 days (P>0.05). The level of 6-keto-prostaglandin F1α(6-keto-PGF1α) of the patients with coronary heart disease was significantly declined in 30 minutes after PTCA (P<0.05) ,but no significant difference was observed in 1 day and 3 days after PTCA (P>0.05). Conclusion PTCA may lead to fluctuation of plasma levels of ET, TXB2and 6-keto-PGF1αThe clarification of changing regularity of these vasoactive substances contrib-utes to prevention of acute artery occlusion or restenosis after PTCA.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2014;28(11):764-767
OBJECTIVE:
To determine the expression of palate, lung, and nasal epithelial clone (PLUNC) in na sal polyps (NP) and evaluate its association with clinical severity.
METHOD:
Twenty-eight NP patients (primary polyp, 15; recurrent polyp, 13) and 16 normal controls (healthy uncinate process) were enrolled, the expression of PLUNC was examined in nasal tissues by immunohistochemistric staining, quantitative PCR and ELISA respectively. The protein level of PLUNC in nasal polyps was correlated with nasal symptom score (nasal congestion and rhinorrhea, respectively).
RESULT:
PLUNC was mainly distributed in the epithelial layer and submucosal glands in nasal tissues. The staining intensity and mRNA level of PLUNC were significantly decreased in polyp tissues than in normal controls (P < 0.01). The protein levels of PLUNC were 0.33 +/- 0.11 and 0.15 +/- 0.05 in primary and recurrent polyp tissues (P < 0.01), and were 0.32 +/- 0.14 and 0.19 +/- 0.07 in small-size and big-size polyp tissues (P < 0.05). The protein level of PLUNC in polyp tissues significantly correlated with both nasal congestion score and rhinorrhea score (r = -0.51 and r = -0.57, P < 0. 01).
CONCLUSION
Decreased PLUNC in polyp tissues indicated that impaired innate immunity may account for the pathogenic process of NP. Thus upregulating PLUNC may represent a promising therapeutic target for the management of NP.

Chinese Journal of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology 2001;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the clinical value of face scar deformity by small-capacity tissue expansion. Methods A small-capacity expander of 10~100 ml was implanted into the hypoderm, and then regular affusion was made with injection pot outside or inside. After expanding for four weeks to eight weeks, the expander was removed and the removing wound surface of scar was repaired with flap. Results After clinical application in 32 cases, there were complications such as infection and expander's exposure occurred in two cases, but the final result was good after suitable treatment. All cases were satisfied with unclear scar after 6 to 36 months’ follow-up. Conclusions Positive cosmetic effect can be received with small-capacity tissue expansion.

Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry 2009;37(7):955-959
A novel molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) was prepared based on multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) by using chlorogenic acid as template, methacrylic acid(MAA) as the functional monomer, and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) as the cross-linker. Infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis were employed to characterize the composite structure and morphology, the results showed that a stable imprinted layer was grafted on the MWNTs with the average thickness of 30-40 nm. The dynamic adsorption and static adsorption experiments were also executed and the results showed that two kinds binding sites with the maximum apparent binding constant 21.5 μmol/g and 32.7 μmol/g existed v.i. between the imprinted polymers and chlorogenic acid. As solid phase extraction (SPE) materials, the separation and enrichment of chlorogenic acid from honeysuckle were successful with a enrichment factor of 25.
