Objective To investigate the changes of coagulation and fibrinolysis systems in patients with solid cancer. Determine the mechanism of thrombosis formation in solid cancer and the the metastasis mechanism of solid cancer. Methods To measure plasma concentrations of TF,TFPI,t-PA,u-PA,PAI-1 by ELISA and test protein C activity(PC:A)by chromogenic substrate assay. Results Plasma concentrations of TF,TFPI,u-PA,PAI-1 were all higher in solid cancer patients than normal control and higher in metasta- sized team than non-metastasized team.In the dead team,u-PA and PAI-1 were higher while TFPI was low- er. t-PA was higher in cancer patients combined with venous thromboembolism while protein C activity was lower. Conclusion Disorders of coagulation and fibrinolysis system are related to the thrombosis formation in solid cancer.Coagulation and fibrinolysis factors take part in the metastasis progress of solid cancer. High concentration of u-PA and PAI-1 or low concentration of TFPI are considered to be related with poor outcome.

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of ultrashort waves combined with medication on children with cerebral dysfunction syndrome (CDS) accompanied with pneumonia.Methods76 children with CDS accompanied with pneumonia were randomly divided into treatment group (n=38, treated with anti-inflammatory and ultrashort waves one time per day for ten days) and control group (n=38, treated only with anti-inflammatory). The effective rate and the days of rales vanished of children in two groups after treatment were compared.ResultsIn the treatment group, 14 cases cured, 20 cases got significant result, 4 cases were effective, total effective rate was 100%; in the control group, 10 cases cured, 14 cases got significant result, 9 cases were effective, 5 cases were invalid, total effective rate was 86.8%. There was a significant difference between therapeutic effects of two groups ( P<0.05).ConclusionThe ultrashort waves therapy is an effective method for the children with CDS accompanied with pneumonia.

Objective To explore the correlation of E-cadherin(E-cad) mRNA expression with tumorigenesis and development of lung cancer. Methods The relative quantitative nested RT-PCR was used to detect the expression of E-cad mRNA in cancerous tissues, adjacent and distal tissues of tumor from 50 lung cancer patients, and non-cancerous benign lung tissues from 5 lung disorder patients. Results The means of expression rate of E-cad mRNA in cancerous tissue, adjacent and distal tissues of tumor, and non-cancerous tissues were 1.33?0.53,1.65?0.60,2.01?0.46 and 2.09?0.09 respectively. The data were evaluated by analysis of variance. There were significant difference among cancerous tissue, adjacent and distal tissue(F=18.810,P0.05).Also,there were no significant differences among squamous cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma and adenosquamous carcinoma in the group of cancerous, adjacent and distal tissue. Conclusion The reduced expression of E-cadherin mRNA may play important role for tumorigenesis and development of lung cancer, and there was no evident relationship of E-cad mRNA with different pathological types of lung cancer.

Resource of traditional Chinese medicine residue is an inevitable choice to form new industries characterized of modem, environmental protection and intensive in the Chinese medicine industry. Based on the analysis of source and the main chemical composition of the herb residue, and for the advantages of membrane science and technology used in the pharmaceutical industry, especially membrane separation technology used in improvement technical reserves of traditional extraction and separation process in the pharmaceutical industry, it is proposed that membrane science and technology is one of the most important choices in technological design of traditional Chinese medicine resource industrialization. Traditional Chinese medicine residue is a very complex material system in composition and character, and scientific and effective "separation" process is the key areas of technology to re-use it. Integrated process can improve the productivity of the target product, enhance the purity of the product in the separation process, and solve many tasks which conventional separation is difficult to achieve. As integrated separation technology has the advantages of simplified process and reduced consumption, which are in line with the trend of the modern pharmaceutical industry, the membrane separation technology can provide a broad platform for integrated process, and membrane separation technology with its integrated technology have broad application prospects in achieving resource and industrialization process of traditional Chinese medicine residue. We discuss the principles, methods and applications practice of effective component resources in herb residue using membrane separation and integrated technology, describe the extraction, separation, concentration and purification application of membrane technology in traditional Chinese medicine residue, and systematically discourse suitability and feasibility of membrane technology in the process of traditional Chinese medicine resource industrialization in this paper.

AIM:To investigate the value of 3D-optical coherence tomography (OCT) in the diagnosis of macular disease before phacoemulsification.METHODS:Clinical records of 423 cataract patients (512 eyes) who underwent phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation in our hospital from June to December in 2015 were retrospectively analyzed. In addition to preoperative routine examination of fundus, Topcon 3D-OCT 2000 was used to examine the macula, the detection rate of macular disease was compared, risk factors of cataract combined with macular disease were analyzed.RESULTS:The OCT image results of 305 cases (384 eyes, 72.1%) were successfully obtained, 133 cases showed macular disease (146 eyes), the detection rate was 28.5% (95%CI:27.64%-29.40%);the macular disease of 35 cases (37 eyes) were detected by routine examination of fundus before operation, the detection rate was 7.2% (95%CI:6.72%-7.74%);the detection rate of 3D-OCT was significantly higher than routine examination of fundus for macular disease (χ2=79.05, P<0.01).Female, over 65 years old, surgical history of diseased eye, and high myopia were risk factors of cataract combined with macular disease, the relative risk was 1.705 (95%CI:1.091,2.664), 1.893 (95%CI:1.219,2.939), 6.593 (95%CI:2.027,21.447) and 95%CI:5.130 (2.841,9.263) respectively, the risk of cataract combined with macular disease showed an increasing trend with rising age.CONCLUSION:In preoperative examination of cataract patients, 3D-OCT has higher sensitivity in the detection of macular disease, especially for women, over 65 years old, high myopia and surgical history of diseased eye, 3D-OCT can be used as a routine preoperative examination.

Objective To explore the relationship between hemolymph phenol oxidase and the melanization of Plasmodium yoelii oocysts in Anopheles dirus. Methods An Anopheles dirus-Plasmodium yoelii system was used Anopheles dirus were divided into 3 groups, that is, non-blood-fedding (N), normal-blood-fedding (B) and infected-blood-fedding (I). The activities of MPO and o-DPO in hemolymph from 3 groups were determined with native polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE) and density scanning at 5, 7, 11 and 15 d after blood feeding. Results Both MPO and o-DPO activity were significantly higher in group I than group N and B (P<0.05). But with the melanization of Plasmodium yoelii oocysts, both MPO and o-DPO activity in group I were decreased in comparison with group N, especially on the 15 th day after infected-blood feeding. MPO and o-DPO activity in group B were significantly stronger than those of group N. Conclusion Blood feeding and infection of Plasmodium yoelii both can activate the cascade. The heamolymph phenol oxidase may play an important role in the melanization of Plasmodium yoelii oocysts in Anopheles dirus.
