AIM: To investigate the comparison of different types of catheter treatment of anastomotic ring canalicular effect.
METHODS:Retrospective analysis. A total of 114 cases 114 eyes were randomly selected between May 2013 to May 2015 jointly admitted to Huizhou Huizhou City People's Hospital and the Central People's Hospital of canalicular patients in accordance with the agreement of the annular catheterization divided into three groups, group A of annular nasal lacrimal duct catheterization in 36 eyes, group B for the whole nasal lacrimal annular catheterization in 33 eyes, group C between the upper annular tears point catheterization 45 eyes. Through the A, B, C three groups after 1, 3wk, 1, 3mo and 1y follow-up were analyzed to compare.
RESULTS:Group A of 31 eyes were cured, improved in 2 eyes, 3 eyes, the effective rate was 91. 7%;group B, 27 cases were cured, improved in 3 eyes, 3 eyes, the effective rate was 90. 9%;group C, 40 cases were cured, improved in 2 eyes, 3 eyes, the effective rate was 93. 3%. A, B, C three groups efficiency pointless difference (P=0. 124). Eye Effect: A, B, C meaningful difference among the three groups(F=36. 578; P=0.002), Group A scored the highest score of a minimum group C, respectively( 3. 5±0. 8 ) and ( 2. 3±0. 7 ); comparison meaningless difference between group a and group B( t=0. 086, P>0. 05 ); Group A and C and comparison of differences between group C and group B have the significance ( t = 15. 241, t = 17. 472; P<0. 05 ). Nasal influence: A, B, C meaningful difference among the three groups(F=778. 581;P=0. 001), the highest score in group B, group C minimum scores were(6. 6±0.8) and ( 0. 9 ± 0. 7 ); A, B, C three groups comparison of differences twenty-two have significance(t=17. 262; t=18.247; t = 16. 647; P<0. 05). Shape Effect: A, B, C difference among the three groups of meaningful ( F=481. 113;P=0. 002), Group A scored the highest score of a minimum group C, respectively(5. 8±0. 9) and(1. 2±0.6);Compare the difference between Groups B and C meaningless ( t = 0. 087, P > 0. 05 ); comparing the differences between the Groups A and B and between Group A and C were significance(t=26. 362, t=27. 532; P<0. 05 ). Group A had 8 patients had lower eyelid eversion, 5 cases of inferior lacrimal point expansion, 13 cases of sneezing, itchy nose, runny nose syndrome. Group B had 20 cases of varying degrees of now sneezing, itchy nose, runny nose syndrome. Group C had no serious complications.
CONCLUSION: Similar to A, B, C three groups of treatment efficacy, patient lacrimal functional recovery is safe and effective, which the group C treatment, during treatment and less material and fewer postoperative complications in patients, it is worth promotion.

Objective To study the role of Mycoplasma genitalium(Mg)infection in chronic non- bacterial prostatitis.Methods Culture and two PCR systems were performed on prostatic secretion specimens from 487 patients with chronic non-bacterial prostatitis and 75 health men in Changchun regions. Objective To evaluate the effect of combined treatment with gonadotropin-releasing hormone analog(GnRHa)and recombinant human growth hormone(rhGH)on predicted adult height(PAH)in girls with central precocious puberty(CPP).Methods Fifteen girls with CPP,whose growth velocity during GnRHa treatment had been less than 4 cm/year,were given additional rhGH treatment at a dose of 1 U?kg~(-1)?w~(-1),sc, for 4-13 months.Comparisons of growth velocity,height SDS for bone age(HtSDS_(BA))and PAH were performed before and after the combined treatment.Results During rhGH combined with GnRHa therapy,growth velocity increased significantly[(7.4?1.7)cm/year vs (3.2?0.7)cm/year baseline,P＜0.01].In 7 girls treated with rhGH and GnRHa for more than 9 months,growth velocity in the second 6 months[(6.5?1.0)cm/year]was slightly lower than that in the first 6 months[(8.8?1.1)cm/year],being both faster than that of baseline [(3.2?0.8)cm/year].There was a significant increase in rhGH-duration corrected change of HtSDS_(BA) [(0.35?0.15)/6 month vs (0.12?0.18 )/6 month baseline,P＜0.01]and PAH[(3.2_+1.4)cm/ 6 month vs (1.4?1.1)cm/6 month baseline,P＜0.01].Conclusion In girls with CPP showing a marked decrease in growth velocity during GnRHa treatment,the combined rhGH and GnRHa treatment remarkably improves growth velocity and PAH.

OBJECTIVETo study the influence of Jiangzhining decoction on the genetic expression of Liver LDLR of the rats suffered from hyperlipemia.

METHODLaboratory animals were male wister rats with hyperlipemia resulting from high fat feeding. Prescription was the douche of stomach with Jiangzhining decoction (200%) with a dosage of 1.4 g.kg-1, for 15 successive days. Total RNA was extracted from the liver tissue of treated rats and LDLRmRNA was detected by Dot blot hybridization. Expression levels of LDLRmRNA was estimated by a ratio of LDLRmRNA and beta-actin mRNA.

RESULTThe difference between expression levels of LDLRmRNA for normal group and those for hyperlipemia group (100% +/- 19% vs 39% +/- 14%) was significant (P < 0.05); and the difference between decoction group (108 +/- 8%) and hyperlipimia group was also highly significant (P < 0.01).

CONCLUSIONHigh fat feeding reduces the expression of liver LDLRmRNA while the decoction can greatly increase it. The study and development of Jiangzhining are significant in preventing and curing cadiocerebral diseases.

OBJECTIVETo verify the mechanism of the hepatitis B viral clearance using clinical data.

METHODSViral level and HBV marker in serum were analyzed in 12 patients with acute hepatitis B.

RESULTSThe clearance of hepatitis B virus occurred before the patients were hospitalized in 66.7% of patients. The viral level and the A value of HBsAg;HBeAg declined gradually during hospitalization.

CONCLUSIONSIn most of patients with acute hepatitis B in the study, the virus was cleared without destruction of infected cells.

Objective To evaluate the changes of the activation and proliferation of rat cardiac fibroblasts in infarcted and non-infarcted regions.Methods The model of myocardial infarction (AMI)was developed through the ligation of anterior descending branch of left coronary artery.After 24 hours,the survived 114 rats were randomly assigned to the following 2 groups:(1)AMI group (n=57);(2)telmisartan treatment group(n=57).And a sham-operated group(n=32)was used asa control.All groups were terminated at day 4,7,14,28,respectively(n=10,12,15,20).At the end of the study,heart rate(HR),blood pressure (BP),ventricle relative weight (ventricle weight/body weight,VW/BW) and survival rate were measured,and the activation and proliferation of fibroblast and collagen volume fraction (CVF) were assessed.Results (1)The 28 day accumulated survival rate for treatment group was lower than that for AMI group (P

Bacterial N-Acyl-L-homoserine lactones (AHLs)-mediated quorum sensing is involved in the regulation of diverse biological functions. As the bacterial pathogen population density increases, AHLs concentration secreted by pathogen reaches a threshold and then interacts with their intercellular receptor and triggers expression of virulence genes. It is a promising approach to biologically control bacterial disease in plants and animals by manipulating bacterial AHL-quorum sensing with AHLs-degrading enzyme and AHL analogue.

Ralstonia metallidurans CH34 was isolated from the deposit of a znic factory .The degradation of phenol by R .metallidurans CH34 was investigated. The results showed that R . metallidurans CH34 possesses high ability to degrade phenol with the biodegradation rate constant of 0.33 . The optimal pH , temperature and volume of medium for phenol degradation are pH 7.0 , 30℃ , and 20%(v/v), respectively . In addition , this strain retains its ability to degrade phenol in the presence of high concentration of heavy metal ion .The sodium citrate , sodium succinate can enhance the degradation of phenol.
