AIM:To investigate the corneal histopathology changes induced by soft contact lenses ( SCL) at diffent time.
METHODS: Central and peripheral cornea structures of myopic patients wearing SCL (150 cases) and the control goups ( 150 cases ) were observed with confocal microscopy. The examinations were performed 1, 3, 5, 8 and 10a after contact lenses wearing respectively.
RESULTS: After wearing the contact lenses for 5a, the cell density of corneal surface epithelial was lower in SCL wearers compared with control goups (P<0. 05) and the corneal vesicle and corneal gutata might be occasionally discovered. The density of Langerhans cells both in the central and peripheral cornea was higher in SCL group ( P<0. 05 ), and the tortuosity of the nerve fibers was significantly increased in the eye wearing SCL compared with control group. The densities of anterior stromal cells were lower while the microdot densities in the stroma were higher in SCL group than that in control group ( P<0.05 ) . The polymorphology of corneal endothelial cells was more obvious in SCL group, but the densities of endothelial cells were similar between two groups ( P>0.05). The SCL wearers showed a thinner thickness of central corneal epithelium than control group (P<0. 05).CONCLUSION: The corneal morphologic changes are more obvious with the longer time, and the changes is not ignored.

Objective To study the concentration of adhesion-related cytokines,transforming growth factor (TGF) β1,platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) BB,b-fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) in intrauterine fluid and their roles in the intrauterine-adhesion reformation.Methods From August 2009 to February 2010,18 patients with moderate or severe intrauterine adhesions underwent transcervical resection of intrauterine adhesion as study group,in the mean time,20 patients with incomplete septate uterus underwent transcervical resection of septum as control group.The charge of each patient's intrauterine fluid was collected at the time of 3,6,9,12,24,48 and 72 hours,respectively,then the concentration of the three cytokines was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results The concentration of the expression of TGF-β1 in the intrauterine fluid at 3,6,9,12 hours after operation in study group was (3.6±0.9),(10.4±1.1),(7.6±1.2),(7.2±1.3) ng/ml,respectively; PDGF-BB was(2.6±0.6),(3.5 ±0.5),(5.4±1.0),(5.7 ±0.8) ng/ml,respectively; bFGF was(16.9±1.3),(95.8±17.8),(330.9 ± 70.5),(1303.3 ± 117.4) ng/ml,respectively.The expression of TGF-β1 in control group was (3.0 ± 0.6),(7.5 ± 0.6),(5.4 ± 0.6),(4.6 ± 0.8) ng/ml,respectively ; PDGF-BB was (2.5 ± 0.4),(2.6±0.5),(4.7±0.6),(4.4±0.4) ng/ml,respectively; bFGF was (19.1 ±2.4),(82.9±21.8),(249.0 ±54.2),(775.6 ± 178.8) ng/ml,respectively.The concentration of TGF-β1,PDGF-BB and bFGF reached the peak during the time of 3-24 hours,6-48 hours,6-72 hours after surgery,respectively.The concentration of TGF-β1,PDGF-BB and bFGF in study group were significantly higher than that in control group (P ＜0.05).Conclusions Concentration of TGF-β1,PDGF-BB and bFGF was positively associated with area of transcervical resection of intrauterine adhesion,those cytokines might be involved in reformatin of intrauterine-adhesion.

Objective To investigate the the effect and interaction of morphine dependence model and naloxone doses on withdrawal intensity. Methods To observe the withdrawal signs and weight loss in two kinds of morphine dependent rats after the precipitating by naloxone of different doses an devaluate the withdrawal intensity.Results Morphine dependence were successfully induced in two ways.There was no significant difference of withdrawal intensity in five-day model(total morphine dose 380mg.kg－1) after precipitating by naloxone of 2mg.kg－1 and 4mg.kg－1（P＞0.05）. Withdrawal intensity of twelve-day model(total morphine dose 1365mg.kg－1)increased significantly with the increase of naloxone dose（P＜0.01）,but it was more intensive significantly than five-day model only after 4mg.kg－1 dose of naloxone. Conclusion Appropriate method should be used to induce morphine dependence and these experimental factors should be combined in assessment of withdrawal intensity.

Batch fermentation of lycopene by recombinant E. c ol i ZYL-2 at various temperatures ranging between 23℃～37℃ were studied in 7L fermentor. At 33℃, cell specific growth rate in earlier stage of culture was higher, and the time obtained maximum cell dry weight was shorter at other tempe rature. while after 9 h, lycopene specific production rate was higher at 28℃. Based on these results, a two-stage temperature control strategy was developed in which 33℃ was used for fermentation for the first 9 h and the temperaturew as switched to 28℃ after 9h. Using this temperature-shift strategy, the maxim al lycopene content and productivity reached 605.25?g L-1 and 28.82?g L-1h-1. The lycopene fermentation level obtained by the strategy was higher than those in single temperature-control experiments.

The sequence of Neurospora crassa(XP_322380)and Gibberella zeae PH-1(EAA76971)ribosomal protein gene were subjected to local tBlastn searching against the Chaetomium globosum ESTs datebase.The 765 bp full length cDNA encoding 60S ribosomal protein L10a gene was obtained.The open reading frame was 654 bp and encoded 217 amino acids.The protein molecular mass was 23.9 kD.The BlastP analysis revealed that amino acids sequence of ribosomal protein L10a gene from C.globosum shared 89% high similarity with N.crassa and 78% low similarty with Ustilago maydis.The cDNA and deduced amino acid sequence of 60S ribosomal protein L10a gene were accepted by GenBank(accession numbers: AY669070,AAT74578).
