2.Research progress of acupuncture for cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury in recent 10 years.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(7):749-752
By searching relevant data from the PubMed database, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database and Wanfang database, a comprehensive analysis and review regarding acupuncture for cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury (CIRI) in recent 10 years were performed. The results showed that acupuncture could inhibit the inflammatory reaction, reduce oxidative stress injury, restrain brain edema formation, inhibit apoptosis, promote neural and vascular regeneration, etc. Acupuncture methods used included electroacupuncture, scalp acupuncture, eye acupuncture and "consciousness-restoring resuscitation needling", etc. The existing problem was that the intervention action of acupuncture was mainly focused on inhibiting inflammatory reaction and oxidative stress injury, and the study on apoptosis and neural and vascular regeneration was needed. It is suggested that from the aspect of multiple target points, the intervention mechanism of acupuncture for CIRI should be systemically studied in the future, which could provide new idea for clinical diagnosis and treatment on ischemic cerebrovascular diseases.

3.Influence of reduced glutathione combined with Danshen powder injection on acute pancreatitis
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2014;37(34):51-54
Objective To study the diagnostic value of reduced glutathione combined with Danshen powder injection on acute pancreatitis. Methods A total of 180 cases with acute pancreatitis were allocated into three groups:treatment group, control group 1 and control group 2 by random digits table method with 60 cases each. The relief time of abdominal pain, the duration of serum/urine amylase recovery, the duration of liver function damage recovery and the hospital stay time was compared. Results After the treatment, patients in treatment group showed better improvement in clinical symptom. The relief time of abdominal pain, the duration of serum/urine amylase recovery, the duration of liver function damage recovery and the hospital stay time in treatment group was shorter than that in control group 1 and control group 2[(2.9 ± 1.3) d vs.(4.1 ± 1.9),(4.5 ±2.3) d; (3.4± 1.2) dvs.(4.0±2.7),(3.9±2.1) d;(4.9± 2.1) d vs.(5.8±2.5),(6.1 ± 1.3)d; (6.7 ± 2.2)d vs.(8.6 ± 4.1),(9.5 ± 2.8)d; (8.1 ± 2.8)d vs.(9.8 ± 2.7),(10.3 ± 3.6) d],and there was significant difference (P <0.05).The total effective rate in treatment group was 96.7% (58/60),which was higher than that in control group 1 and control group 2 [86.7 %(52/60),83.3 % (50/60)],and there was significant difference (P < 0.05).Conclusion Reduced glutathione combined with Danshen powder injection for acute pancreatitis can greatly decrease the serum inflammatory factors and improve the clinical efficacy.
4.Clinical study on Treatment of Active Ankylosing spondylitis with Total panax Notoginseng Saponins
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2009;31(4):305-306
Objective To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of treating active ankylosing spondylitis with total panax notoginseng saponins (PNS). Methods sixty-two patients were randomly recruited into a control group and a treatment group, with thirty-one patients in each group. All patients were treated with the routine therapy of NSAIDs and DMARDs. The treatment group was given PNS additionally, with 400mg PNS joined with 200ml normal saline being intravenously dripped daily. The therapeutic course was 14 days for both groups. The observation items for evaluation included symptoms, signs, and side effects. Results Compared with previous state before treatment, the lumbosacral portion pain and the count of joint pain was reduce, the time of morning stiffness was shortening, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), and C-reaction protein (CRP) were all significantly reduced (P<0.05) ; There were significant differences in the total effectiveness rates between the two groups (P<0.05) ; while no notable difference was found in adverse drug reaction between the groups (P>0.05). Conclusion It is effective that treating active ankylosing spondylitis with PNS plus NSAIDs.
5.Utility of Fluoxetine in Treating Tinnitus Patients
Journal of Audiology and Speech Pathology 1998;0(02):-
Objective To evaluate t he efficacy of fluoxetine in treating tinnitus patients with depress. Methods A randomized,open-labeled,controlled clinical tri al was conducted. There were 31 patients in control group and 26 p a tents in fluoxetine group. The efficacy was assessed by tinnitus patients with Ra ting Scale and Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD). Results The total effective rate of fluoxetine group was 71.11%, and there was significant improvement rate in depression after 1 month f luoxetine treatm ent. Conclusion Fluoxetine is an effective drug for tinnitus p atients with depression.
6.The mechanism of neurovascular decompression for essential hypertension
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2001;14(3):255-256,259
Essential hypertension, which is common in population, has an unclear etioligy and the medical therapy is predominantly used. In the last few years, some studies found that the blood pressure could be elevated with the pulsatile compression at the root entry zone(REZ) of the Ⅸ、Ⅹcranial nerve, which may considered to be one of the causes of essential hypertension. Neurovascular decompression moderates the pulsatile compression, and is to be a new method for the treatment of essential hypertension, especially for refractory hypertension. This article summarized the mechanism of neurovascular decompression for essential hypertension and the operative courses.
7.Gap junctional intercellular communication and cancer
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(11):-
Gap junctional intercellular communication (GJIC) has been specu la ted to be a necessary biological function of metazoan cells for the regulation o f growth control, differentiation and apoptosis of normal progenitor cells. Rese arches show that most transformed cells and tumor cells have reduced or abolished GJIC. The prevention of the down regulation of GJIC by the tumor promoters or the restoration of GJIC in neoplastic cells may have potential in prevention and therapy of cancer.
8.The application of hysteroscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of endometrial carcinomas
Journal of Chinese Physician 2015;17(8):1135-1139
Hysteroscopy is an important method for early diagnosis of endometrial carcinomas, and is extensively used in clinic. Its unique advantages include intuitive, comprehensive, and accurate observation of the uterine cavity and orientating biopsy. It can compensate for shortcomings and disadvantages of traditional diagnostic methods such as dilatation, curettage, and ultrasound. However, during the hysteroscopy examination, malignant cells may disseminate into peritoneal cavity under the pressure of medium used for distention of the uterine cavity, and this dissemination of endometrial cancer cells may influence prognosis of endometrial carcinomas. These are the main limitation factors of hysteroscopy, which restricts its clinical application. This present article reviews advantages and problems of hysteroscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of endometrial carcinomas.
9.Acupuncture Therapy for Ischemic Stroke in Model of Rats (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2009;15(3):214-215
The recent literatures showed that the acupuncture therapy had played a special role in treating ischemic stroke, including the changes of fibrinolysis, amino acid neurotransmitters, active peptides, proteins in the blood, calmodulin, nitric oxide and the synthase, and so on. But the standard of judgments, the manipulations of acupuncture, the selection of acupoints, and the course of treatment remain uncertain.
10.Matrix Metalloproteinase-9 Expression in Cerebral Ischemia (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2012;18(12):1127-1130
The expression of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) after cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury can accelerate the damage of brain-blood barrier and plays an important role in brain edema after cerebral hemorrhage. The level of MMP-9 can reflex the severity of brain ischemia, indicate to the volume of infarct area and point out the prognosis of the disease. This article reviewed its source and expression, the gene regulation and polymorphism, hemorrhage transformation and nhibitors, and the mechanism was also analyzed.
