3.Recent advances in surface markers of gastric cancer stem cells
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(41):6225-6232
BACKGROUND:It has been observed recently that tumor recurrence is closely related to cancer stem cel s. Cancer stem cel theory provides a new avenue for the study of gastric cancer pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment. To determine the cel phenotype is helpful to target gastric cancer stem cel s, and contributes to exploring the self-renewal and differentiation of gastric cancer stem cel s, further providing new ideas for the treatment of gastric cancer. However, the phenotype of gastric cancer stem cel s remains controversial.
OBJECTIVE:To review the research progress in gastric cancer stem cel phenotype.
METHODS:A computer-based online search of PubMed database was performed to search related articles published between January 1965 and October 2015 with the key words of“Gastric Cancer Stem Cel s”in English. Sixty-eight articles were included for final analysis.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Traditional cancer stem cel phenotypes are unsuitable for marking
gastric cancer stem cel s. Studies have found that CD90 expresses in primary gastric cancers, and cancer stem cel spheres would be required via serum-free culture by CD90 maker. CD24 expression can improve the adhesion, invasion and migration of gastric cancer cel s. Further studies have confirmed that a lot of cel s positive for both CD44 and CD54 can be found in patients with early recurrence of gastric cancer rather than those with advanced recurrence, and CD44 and CD54 expression in tumor cel s is likely to be an important cause of gastric cancer occurrence and recurrence. By analyzing the sorting, CD44+CD24+CD90+CD54+is likely to be the gastric cancer stem cel phenotype.
4.Bone marrow microenvironment controls the“fate”of hematopoietic stem cells
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(14):2283-2290
BACKGROUND:Hematopoietic microenvironment regulates hematopoietic stem cel s mainly through the cel-cel , cel-soluble regulator and cel-extracel uar matrix modes. OBJECTIVE:To review the molecular mechanism underlying regulation of hematopoietic stem cel s under the cel-cel , cel-soluble factors and cel-extracel ular matrix modes. METHODS:A computer-based online search of PubMed database was performed to search related articles with the key words of“Niche, HSC, VCAM-1, VLA-4, TPO, MPL, ECM, Integrin, N-cadherin, ANG-1, Tie2, VLA-5, Jagged-1, Notch, CXCL12, CXCR4, SCF, Kit, BMPs/TGF-β, TGF-βR, IFNα, IFNαR”in English. Irrelevant or repetitive studies as wel as old literature were excluded, and final y 80 articles were included in result analysis. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Cel s on the endosteal surface, vascular endothelial cel s, perivascular cel s, and some unknown or certain cel s or smal molecules in the bone marrow cavity constitute the specialized microenvironment for hematopoietic stem cel s. Hematopoietic stem cel s in the hematopoietic microenvironment remain a relatively steady state, which is the result of mutual contact of hematopoietic stem cel s and hematopoietic microenvironment under the regulation of some important molecules, such as Pten and osteopontin, via the pathway between cel-intercel ular adhesions, intercel ular soluble factors, and cel s and extracel ular matrix.
5.A study on the treatment of tension-free repair and traditional hernia repair of inguinal hernia in aged patients
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(11):-
Objective To compare tension-free repair and traditional hernia repair of inguinal hernia in the elderly patients. Methods During the period from 2000 to 2001,84 aged patients of scheduled for repair of inguinal hernia were randomized to tension-free repair or traditional hernia repair. The patients were followed up for two years. Results Tension-free repair of inguinal hernia was a simple procedure causing less trauma and operative time, fewer complications and recurrence. Conclusion Tension-free repair of inguinal hernia is superior to traditional hernia repair in the elderly patients.
6.A citation analysis of Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology
Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology 2005;0(06):-
Objective To evaluate the academic level and the popularity of Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology Methods According to the information of Chinese Medical Citation Index(CMCI),statistically analyzed the amount and distribution of the originals in Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology cited by the journal included by CMCI.Results The proportion of cited articles for original articles, short report and review were(73.8%),58.1% and 60.7% respectively, and average cited numbers for them were 7.2,3.0 and 3.4.The average of original articles cited by other researchers is 3.9,and there are more articles cited than other journal. The authors of these articles are from the 27 province/or municipalities,Beijing and Shanghai municipalities are in the front of Radiation Oncology research. There are 320 citing journals, and self-citing rate is 9.4%.Conclusions The Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology has published high quality articles, and has its own edition characteristics to keep its steady level of research. It is the one of the most important information resource for the radiation oncology researchers and the most important medical journal.

Objective To evaluate effect of humanized nursing on psychological state of patients with chronic urticaria receiving autohemotherapy. Methods 58 cases with chronic urticaria in our hos-pital were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 29 cases in each group, the control group was treated with conventional care, the observation group received conventional care combined with humanized nursing. The anxiety, depression and satisfaction degree were compared for these two groups and the data went through χ2 test and t test. Results The score of self- rating anxiety scale (SAS) and serf-rating depression scale (SDS) of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, the satisfaction rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the con-trol group. Conclusions Application of humanized nursing in patients with chronic urticaria receiving autohemotherapy can reduce their anxiety and depression and has pivotal significance on treatment of pa-tients with chronic urticaria.

Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(05):-
Objective To evaluate the clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment procedures for adrenal pheochromocytoma and adrenal ganglioneucoma. Methods Thirty-two cases of adrenal pheochromocytoma and 14 cases of adrenal ganglioneucoma surgical treated between 1999—2005 were analysed, The average of ganglioneucoma was 39 years old (16~63). tumor size ranged from 2.5 cm to 15 cm. The mean age of pheochromocytoma was 42 years old (19~74), tumor size ranged from 2cm to 16 cm. Tumor located in the adrenal area. All cases accepted surgical operation and were confirmed by pathology. Results Most cases of adrenal ganglioneucoma did not have any symptom but were founded incidentally. Differentials were obviously between ganglioneucoma and pheochromocytoma. Conclusion Both adrenal ganglioneucoma and pheochromocytoma are rare diseases.CT、urinary CA and 131I-MIBG are good methods for diagnosis. The final diagnosis depends on the pathology, surgical resection of tumor is a preferred choice.
