Objective To study the clinical effect and influence of Feiliuping Ⅱ on the quality of life quality of lung cancer patients. Methods 60 patients of later stage of lung cancer with definite diagnosis and stages in pathology were chosen, who had approximate condition. Among them, 30 cases were in Chemotherapy-only group, and 30 cases were in Feiliuping Ⅱ +Chemotherapy group. Chemotherapy was the treatment in Chemotherapy-only group. Besides chemotherapy, Feiliuping Ⅱ was taken orally, 20 g tid poin Feiliuping Ⅱ +Chemotherapy group. Three months were a period of treatment. To evaluating effect of two groups from clinical curative effect, symptoms changes, and quality of life. Results After treatment, stable rate of focus were notably higher in Feiliuping Ⅱ +Chemotherapy group than that in Chemotherapy-only group (P

3.Assessment and Rehabilitation of Ability of Daily Living for the Elderly(review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(11):972-974
Rehabilitation for the elderly is a way to improve the elderly with their ability of daily living and the quality of life, and the Assessment of the ability should be indispensable process to rehabilitation. This paper would introduce the tools that used for evaluating ability of basic activities of daily living(BADL) and ability of instrumental activities of daily living(IADL),as well as how to choose these tools, how to choose facilities for rehabilitation, how to make rehabilitation program, the problems should be pay attention to,the project of exercise and so on.
4.Study of rehabilitation treatment on old patients with stroke at restoration stage
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2002;8(12):747-749
ObjectiveTo discuss the main point of rehabilitation treatment on old patients with stroke at restoration stage.Methods26 cases in hospital patients were performed a 8-week (5 days/week) rehabilitation program. Before and after rehabilitation treatment evaluations of locomotion function, muscle tone, range of movement of joints, ability of balance, ambulation and activities of daily living for affected limbs were performed and compared each other. Resultse grade of function and muscle tone of affected limbs had no distinct changes, while the locomotion function and ability of activities of daily living improved significantly(P<0.01). Conclusions Rehabilitation treatment for old patients with stroke at restoration stage is different from the acute stage. In the former case it is focused on facilitating the potential function, while in the latter it is emphasized on preventing and curing disuse syndrome and improving maladaptive behaviors.

Problem-based learning (PBL) is a teaching method which is tutor-guided,student-centered,learning in the procedure of solving problem and solving problem in the procedure of learning.Compared with traditional teaching methods,PBL has advantages in culturing the ability of the students, improving the ability of analyzing and solving problem and combining multiple disciplines and it plays an important role in culturing applicable and innovative talents.Attention should be paid to teacher training, learner supervision, strict selection of curriculum and supplement of extra relevant courses.Furthermore, the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine must be highlighted so as to achieve the best teaching effects.

ObjectiveTo study neural protective effect of combined medication with nimodipine and mannitol on injury of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion for screening the better medication method in acute cerebral ischemia-reperfusion. MethodsA model of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion was performed by clipping bilateral common carotid artery of rats with vago- and releasing them 3 hours later. 40 Wistar female rats within 1 month were divided into 5 groups randomly with 8 rats each: model group (no use of medicine), nimodipine group(0.2mg/kg), mannitol group(0.5g/kg), nimodipine and mannitol group, sham-operated group (no use of medicine and no clipping process). The changes of SOD and MDA in brain tissue were measured 24 hours after cerebral ischmic reperfusion in all groups. At the same time pathologic study was performed to compare the different groups.ResultsThere were significant differences between nimodipine and mannitol group and other groups in changes of SOD, MDA and pathological changes(P<0.01). Conclusions Combined medication with nimodipine and mannitol is the better way to protect brain tissue from acute cerebral ischemia-reperfusion than other way in present experiment, by synergistic action.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effects of locking plate fixation through lateral deltoid approach for proximal humeral fracture combined with micro-invasive percutaneous plating (MIPPO) technique.
METHODSFrom April 2009 to March 2012,26 patients with proximal humeral fractures were treated with proximal humeral locking system plate fixation through lateral deltoid approach, including 17 males and 9 females with an average age of 58 years old ranging from 28 to 76 years old. The time from injury to operation was 3 to 10 days (averaged 5.6 days). According to Neer typing for the proximal humeral fractures, 7 cases had 2 parts of fracture,15 had 3 parts of fracture, and 4 had 4 parts of fracture. The Neer score for shoulder function was evaluated.
RESULTSAll patients were followed up,and the duration ranged from 10 to 21 months (averaged 13.6 months). All patients were achieved bony union, the average healing time was 12.5 weeks (ranged from 10 to 21 weeks). No humeral head necrosis and axillary nerve injury occurred. According to Neer scoring system, the total score was 88.36 +/- 7.82, pain 30.82 +/- 3.24, function 23.76 +/- 5.71, activity 17.59 +/- 5.36, anatomical position 7.03 +/- 2.39; the result was excellent in 18 cases, good in 5 cases, fair in 2 cases, poor in 1 case.
CONCLUSIONLateral deltoid approach combined with locking plate fixation for treatment of proximal humeral fracture has advantages of small invasion, less blood lossing, short operative time, stable fixation, high rate of fracture healing, and satisfactory functional recovery.

Objective To determine the correlation of plasma brain natriuretic peptide(BNP) with severe degree of dilated cardiomyopathy in children. Methods Thirty children with dilated cardiomyopathy and 30 healthy subjects were selected in this degree of study, plasma BNP concentration was measured and compared among groups by using t test.Correlation of BNP levels with left ventricular ejection fraction and heart function was investigated using linear regression analysis. Results Children with dilated cardiomyopathy had significantly higher mean BNP levels compared with healthy children [(429.4?270.2) ng/L vs (67.0?10.2) ng/L].Significantly positive correlations were found between BNP and heart classification(r=0.950 P
