China Pharmacy 2016;27(19):2654-2656
OBJECTIVE:To study the preventive effects of arhinhor-11 on acute alcoholism in mice. METHODS:48 mice were randomly divided into model group (sodium carboxymethyl cellulose),arhinhor-11 low-dose,medium-dose and high-dose groups [1.23,2.46,4.92 g(crude drug)/kg],with 12 mice in each group. Each group was given relevant medicine intragastrically, and 30 min later given 56% liquor intragastrically to induce acute alcoholism model. The disappearance time and recovery time of righting reflex were determined. 160 mice were grouped, given medicine and modeled with the same method, with 40 mice in each group. The alcohol concentration and alcohol dehydrogenase(ADH)activity in liver of 10 mice were determined 0.5,1,2,3 h af-ter giving alcohol. Other 10 mice were included in normal control (ig administration of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose). RE-SULTS:Compared with model group, the disappearance time of righting reflex were prolonged while recovery time shortened in arhinhor-11 groups, and alcohol concentration and ADH activity increased 0.5,1,2,3 h after giving alcohol (P<0.05 or P<0.01),especially 1 h after giving alcohol. 3 h after giving alcohol, alcohol concentration in blood of arhinhor-11 high-dose group decreased while ADH activity increased (P<0.05);there was no statistical significance among other arhinhor-11 groups (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Arhinhor-11 has preventive effect on acute alcoholism in mice. It has a positive control effects on the alco-hol concentration in blood and ADH activity in liver.
2.Nutrition management of extremely low birth weight infants
International Journal of Pediatrics 2016;43(12):913-915
Because of immature gastrointestinal tract development and the influence of postnatal disease status, extremely low birth weight infant feeding has become a majoy problem. Early positive parenteral feeding and proper enteral feeding are very helpful to the growth and development of extremely low birth weight infant.

RESULTS: The average hospitalization time of fungal corneal ulcer was(12. 11±5. 13) d. A total of 148 cases of 148 eyes were cured, and the cure rate was 93. 1%;improvement in 8 cases, accounted for 5. 0%; 3 cases were ineffective, accounted for 1. 9%. The final visual acuity of 89 eyes ≥0. 3, accounted for 56. 0%(89/159). The final visual acuity of 136 eyes ≥0. 1, accounting for 85. 5%(136/159), and accounting for 91. 9% in 148 cured patients.
CONCLUSION: The comprehensive therapy in the treatment of fungal corneal ulcer has higher cure rate and visual acuity.
5.Rhabdomyolosis and its pathogenesis
World Journal of Emergency Medicine 2012;3(1):11-15
BACKGROUND: Rhabdomyolysis may cause severe damage to the human body because of acute renal failure, fatal heart rhythm disturbances, hypovolemic shock, disturbances of electrolyte balance, metabolic acidosis, hyperthermia, disseminated intravascular coagulation, etc. Drugs and toxins are the most common factors for the disease. This article aimed to review the prognosis of rhabdomyolysis. DATA SOURCES: Based on the reported studies of cell and molecular biology, we reviewed the clinical presentations, laboratory findings, and mechanisms of rhabdomyolysis in the Pubmed. RESULTS: The clinical symptoms of rhabdomyolysis were dependent on the severity of the condition and whether kidney failure develops. Since the necrosis and dissolution of muscle cells, entocytes such as myoglobin, creatine phosphokinase (CPK), electrolytes, proteins and non-protein substances were released into the plasma, the detection of the entocytes may contribute to the early diagnosis of rhabdomyolysis. CONCLUSION: Despite the etiology of the disease is multifactorial, the potential causes of rhabdomyolysis share the same pathophysiological pathway involving an increase in intracel ular calcium.

Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2011;18(4):320-322
Objective To investigate the role of peripheral blood lymphocyte apoptosis through Fas/ Fas ligand pathway in the development of viral myocarditis. Methods Twenty-five viral myocarditis (VMC) and 25 healthy children were chosen for study. The apoptosis percentage in peripheral blood iymphocytes was quantitatively examined, flow cytometry with Annexin V/PI double parameter was used. And the expressions of Fas and Fasl protein in peripheral blood lymphocytes were analyzed with flow cytometry. Results The percentage of apoptosis in peripheral blood lymphocytes in children with VMC [(0. 6976 ± 0. 1109)%] was significantly higher than that of healthy children [(0. 1288 ± 0. 1069) %] (t = 18.459, P < 0.001). Moreover, the apoptosis cell percentage showed a significant positive correlation with the serum levels of myocardium enzyme (creatine kinase-MB, lactate dehydrogenase, creatine kinase, hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase)(r =0. 817 ,P <0. 01 ;r =0. 785 ,P <0.01 ;r =0. 726 ,P <0. 01 ;r =0. 712 ,P <0. 01). The expression of Fas and Fasl protein in VMC patients(2. 8804 ± 0. 3020,4. 4496 ± 0. 4836) were higher than those of health children(2. 1300 ±0. 6200,0. 1238 ±0. 0384) ,which had significant difference(t = 17. 321 ,P <0. 001 ;t' =44. 577, P < 0. 001). The apoptosis percentage of peripheral blood lymphocytes in children with VMC showed a significant positive correlation with the Fas and Fasl protein expression in peripheral blood lymphocytes(r =0. 972, P < 0. 01; r = 0. 958, P < 0. 01). Conclusion Apoptosis percentage of peripheral blood lymphocytes increases among children with VMC, probably because immune response decreased or it is related with the degree of myocardium damaged. Fas and Fasl play an important role in apoptosis of peripheral blood lymphocytes in children with VMC.
