Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2008;31(21):25-28
Objective To clarify the differential diagnosis between limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2B (LGMD2B) and polymyositis (PM). Methods Analyzed the character of clinical, histochemical and immunohistochemical pathologic with biopsied skeletal muscle in 5 patients with LGMD2B and the relationship with PM. Results Both LGMD2B and PM showed the muscle weakness in proximal limbs and elevated creatinkinase level and electromyogram showed myogenic damage. Histochemical stains: it was similar to PM, that was the muscle fibers degenerating, regenerating and necrotic and the infiltrating inflammatory cells in different extent in 5 patients. Immunohistoehemical stains: anfi-Dysferlin monoelonal antibody showed that Dysferlin was deficient on sarcolemma in LGMD2B, but it was normal in PM. Conclusions It is resemble on the clinical and histoehemieal pathologic characters in both LGMD2B and PM. It is key to antidiastole LGMD2B and PM by the immunohistochemieal stain of anti-Dysferlin monoelonal antibody.
2.Significance and issues of patellar replacement in total knee arthroplasty
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(48):9503-9506
BACKGROUND: The question whether patellar replacement is necessary during total knee arthroplasty remains controversial. The influence of different parameters, such as patellar thickness, bone bed shape, fixation column style and fixation patterns on effect of total knee arthroplasty remains unclear. OBJECTIVE: To induce the technical parameters in patellar replacement. METHODS: A computer-based line seerch of CNKI and Pubmend was performed for articles published between January 1999 and June 2009 with key words "artificial knee joint, petellar replacement" in Chinese and "artificial knee joint, arthroplasty, patellar surfacing" in English. Clinical studies of patients undergoing patellar replacement or not dudng total knee arthroplasty were included. Animal experiments were excluded. The indication and complication of patellar replacement, issues regarding patellar replacement, influence of petellar thickness reservation on artificial knee arthroplasty, prosthesis design of patellar and influence of internal fixation pattems on postoperative effect, and influence of replacement techniques on artificial knee joint were discussed in this article. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Currently, patellar replacement is considered to have three patterns: total replacement, no replacement and selective replacement. The shape of patella remains controversial. Bone cement is commonly used for patellar prosthesis fixation. The pdnciples of patellar replacement are as follows: to maximize patellar thickness; to maintain articular facet symmetry; to protect patellar blood transport; to ensure reasonable motion track of the patella. The indications of patellar replacement depend on protopathy, pathological change degree, prosthesis pattern, patient activity amount and body mass.

Chinese Journal of Pharmacoepidemiology 2007;0(05):-
Objective:To systematically analyze the ADRs caused by azithromycin, and provide references for its safe and rational meidication.Method:Based on the literature search in Chinese Journal Full-text Database(CNKI) between 1994 and 2007,139 cases of adverse drug reactions caused by azithromycin were collected and analyzed.Result:The ADRs caused by azithromycin could be categorized into 7 types, and the most frequent one was allergy. Conclusion:Adverse reactions monitoring of azithromycin should be strengthened to ensure its safe and rational meidication.
4.Differentiation of mesenchymal cells derived from mouse fetal liver into skeletal muscle-like cells in vitro
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(04):-
AIM: To study whether mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) from fetal liver can differentiate into skeletal muscle-like cells. METHODS: MSCs were isolated from C57BL/6J mouse fetal liver and were induced by 5-azacytidine and amphotericin B. Myf5 and myogenin were tested by RT-PCR. Desmin and ?-actin was examined by immunocytochemistry. RESULTS: RT-PCR showed that the treated cells expressed Myf5 and myogenin orderly from 6 hours to 72 hours, while the untreated cells did not. Immunocytochemistry confirmed that these cells were positive for desmin and ?-actin and the positive rate was higher in 7 days than that in 14 days. CONCLUSION: MSCs derived from fetal liver can be induced into skeletal muscle-like cells in vitro.

International Eye Science 2014;(6):1037-1040
Neovascular glaucoma ( NVG ) is a kind of intractable eye disease with complex etiology, strong destruction and poor effect on treatment. Extensive retinal ischemia and hypoxia is the main etiology, and the key of treatment is early diagnosis, active prevention and taking effective measures to prevent the production of vascular endothelial growth factor. According to the related literature over recent years, the authors will discuss pros and cons for medical, surgical and combined treatment in this review.

China Oncology 2000;0(06):-
Purpose:To investigate the relationship between HELICOBACTER PYLORI (Hp) and gastric carcinoma, as well as the possible carcinogenic mechanism by Hp. Methods: DNEL technique and immunohistochemical staining were used in the research to study the state of apoptosis, proliferation and p53 gene expression. Total 100 gastric mucosal biopsy specimens, including normal mucosa, Hp negative and Hp positive gastric precancerous lesions as well as gastric carcinomas were studied. Results:There were several apoptotic cells in the superficial epithelium and a few proliferative cells within neck of gastric glands, and no p53 protein expression in normal mucosa. In gastric carcinoma, apoptotic cells accounted for 1.62%, while proliferative cells 4.99%, and P53 protein significantly increased. in metaplasia, the apoptotic index (AI), proliferative index (PI) and positivity of p53 expression in Hp positive group were higher than those in normal mucosa ( P

[Objective]To investigate the effect of transforming growth factor ?1(TGF-?1) genes transfection on the proliferation and differentiation of chondrocyte by adenovirus vector, and to observe the quality in repair cartilage defect through constructing tissue-engineered cartilage.[Method]Using replicat ion defective adenovirus Adeno-X~(TM) as a carrier,Articular chondrocytes were transferred by high titers level recombinant adenovirus taking TGF-?1 genes.Ultromicrostructure, prolife ration anddifferentiation were observed by light and electron microscope, flow cytometry and so on.Induce expression of exogenous genes coding protein and cartilage cell phenotype were detected by Immunocytochemistry and Northern blot.Gross observation, histology and effect classification were used to evaluate results in repair cartilage defect by combi nation of infected chondrocytes and bone matrix gelatin(BMG).[Result]Immunocytochemistric staining showedthe expression of exogenous gene coding proteins after infection, and procollagen Ⅱ mRNA in cells was detected increasingly by Northern blot.TGF-?1 stimulated proliferation of chondrocytes in primary cultured, and resulted in recruitment of articular chondrocytes into S-G2/M phase.Chondrocytes seeded onto BMG showed high level of proliferation.Transplantation in vivo showed: cartilage defect was repaired satisfactorily by Combination of BMG and infected chondrocytes, and the structure of repair tissue got close to normal articular cartilage.[Conclusion] Articular chondrocytes prolifera tion could be stimulated by adenovirus vector taking TGF-?1 genes, which could be used to constructed tissue-engineered cartilage, and applied in repairing joint cartilage defect.
8.Effects of rehabilitation training on the expression of S-100,GFAP and Nestin in the cortex of rats with cerebral infarction
Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2003;0(09):-
Objective To study the effect of rehabil it ation training on the expression of S-100, GFAP and Nestin in the cortex of cer ebrally infarcted rats. Methods Sixty Sprague-Dawle y rats were used. Experimental cerebral infarction was caused in all the rat s. 24 hours after the infarction, all the rats were randomly divided into 3 grou ps: a rehabilitation group, an immobiliaztion group and a control group. The rat s in the rehabilitation group were given balancing, grasping, rotating and walki ng exercises everyday, while those in the immobilization group were immobilized in cages. The rats in the control group was without any treatment. Immunohistoc hemical technique was used to detect the S-100, GFAP and Nestin expression at t he time points of 24 hours, 1, 2, 3 and 4 weeks after infarction, respectively. Results S-100, GFAP and Nestin expression were foun d around the infarcted cortex. The response increased as the extension of the su rviving time. The immunohistochemical reaction in rats in the rehabilitation gro up was stronger than that in the immobilization group. Conclusi on Rehabilitation training can activate astrocytes, which could impr ove the internal environment, protect the neurons and promote repairing of neuro n.
