1.Effect of Thalidomide on Angiogenesis in Implanted Human Tumors of Nude Mice
China Pharmacy 2007;0(34):-
OBJECTIVE:To observe the effects of thalidomide in the growth of the human ovarian cancer cells (OVCAR-3) and HCT-8 as well as the angiogenesis in tumor tissue through building a model of heterograft of nude mice with human tumors. METHODS: After implanting human tumors in nude mice for modeling, the inoculated nude mice were intragastrically administered different dose of thalidomide, with tumor growth condition observed and compared with control group. The diversity of microvessel density(MVD) in tumor tissue was detected by immunohistochemistry. RESULTS: Middle and high dose thalidomide could significantly inhibit the growth of OVCAR-3 human tumor in nude mice(P
2.Analyses on related factors in relapse of schizophrenics
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2001;5(3):30-31
Objective To explore the related factors of the relapse of schizophrenics in unwell developed economic areas. Methods To analyze 718 schizophrenics by single and multiple stepwise regression analyses to explore whether relapse of schizophrenia was related to those factors. Results 2.8% experienced one time relapse, 14.2% experienced two times relapse and 83% three times. The rate of schizophrenic relapse was in turn correlated with treatment compliance, treatment intervention, marriage, clinical features, psychological stress, social support, the way of forming disease, medical expenses and condition of access to medical care. Conclusions More attention should be paid to the factors causing schizophrenic relapse and wider measures of prevention and treatment should be taken.
4.Overview of Chinese medicine in prevention of non-small cell lung cancer recurrence and metastasis after surgery
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(11):1047-1050
Recurrence and metastasis are main causes ofsurgical treatment failure of non-small cell lung cancer. In prevention of non-small cell lung cancer recurrence and metastasis,Chinese medicine has achieved a certain effect. It has been proved by clinical use of Chinese patent drugs, compound modification based on syndrome differentiation, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment, and molecular mechanism of anti-recurrence and metastasis, though there are still some problems. This article reviews the recent clinical and experimental research status.
5.Nursing of patient with second anastomotic leakage after radical gastric cancer surgery:a case re-port
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2016;32(10):772-774
Objective To conclude nursing experience of second anastomotic leakage after radical gastric cancer surgery. Methods The present study compared the differences of clinical symptoms between these two anastomotic leakages, and found a way to detect latent anastomotic leakage with an unobvious abdominal sign accurately and opportunely. The study also intervened in the patient′s observation, psychological condition, peritoneal irrigation and nutritional support after surgery. Results The patients were discharged from the hospital after cured with well controlled condition. Conclusions In order to make an early detection and treatment of the second anastomotic leakage, nurses should not only observe the abdominal sign, but also observe the systematic poisoning and concomitant symptoms.
6.Investigation and analysis of the information ability of medical personnel under the network environment
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2015;14(6):643-648
Objective To investigate the information ability of medical personnel from a large general hospital that integrates medical care, teaching and research under the network environment for providing evidence to improve targeted information service in library.Method A self-designed and self-administered questionnaire was distributed through the questionnaire system on hospital office network.Information ability involved in the questionnaire mainly included the ability to precisely retrieve literature in Chinese and foreign language, commonly used retrieval strategies, and screening, evaluation and English full-text access methods.A total of 1 094 medical personnel voluntarily participated and completed the questionnaire, and complete responses were obtained from 1 065 individuals (effective response rate 97.35%).x2 and trend x2 tests were used for data analysis. Results The overall accuracy of precise retrieval information was only 6.1%,and the accuracies of precise retrieval literature in Chinese and foreign language databases were 14.6% and 14.6%,respectively.Duty,education and working years of the medical personnel had significantly effects on the ability to precisely retrieve literature and the strategies and methods of information retrieval, screening, evaluation and full-text access. Conclusion Medical personnel had certain information ability, but library should carry out relevant training program to improve the medical personnel's information quality and ability further.
7.Clinical Application of Transient Elastography in Liver Cirrhosis and its Complications
Chinese Journal of Gastroenterology 2015;(5):300-303
Liver cirrhosis is the advanced stage of various chronic liver diseases, and its complications include portal hypertension, esophageal and gastric varices, hepatocellular carcinoma, etc. Transient elastography( TE),a noninvasive method for liver stiffness measurement( LSM),has been used widely to detect liver fibrosis qualitatively and quantitatively. Recently, correlations were observed for LSM with liver cirrhosis and its complications. This article reviewed the studies focused on these correlations,as well as the clinical application of TE.
8.Expression and significance of FoxP3 in non-keratinizing squamous cell carcinoma of nasopharynx *
Chongqing Medicine 2013;(27):3272-3274
Objective To investigate the expression of FoxP3 in nasopharyngeal non-keratinizing squamous cell carcinoma and the significance of regulationary T (Treg) cell in the occurrence and development of nasopharyngeal carcinoma .Methods The im-munohistochemistry staining method(SP) was used to detect the expression of FoxP3 in 57 cases of nasopharyngeal non-keratiniz-ing squamous cell carcinoma and 22 cases of nasopharyngeal mucosa with chronic inflammation ,and the expression of CD8 in naso-pharyngeal carcinoma .Results The number of Treg cell with positive FoxP3 in the nasopharyngeal carcinoma group was 105 .05 ± 52 .22 ,which was significantly higher than 6 .35 ± 6 .06 in the nasopharyngeal mucosa with chronic inflammation ,the difference be-tween them showed statistical significance(P<0 .05) .The number of T cells with positive FoxP3 was relevant to gender and the differentiation degree of carcinoma(P<0 .05) .Conclusion The proliferation of Treg cells with positive FoxP3 can inhibit the anti-tumor immunologic function of the patients with nasopharyngeal non-keratinizing squamous cell carcinoma and provide the favor-able environment for the immunologic escape of tumor cells .
9.Rudimentary uterine horn pregnancy: 4 cases report
Fudan University Journal of Medical Sciences 2010;37(1):100-102
Objective To study the current situation of diagnosis and treatment of rudimentary uterine horn pregnancy through 4-cases report. Methods We made a clinical study of 4 cases of rudimentary uterine horn pregnancy admitted to our hospital between 1995 and 2005. Results Three patients had been undergone artificial abortion before they were admitted to our hospital. All the patients were asymptomatic. Ultrasonography was made in 3 cases. Two cases were diagnosed as rudimentary uterine horn pregnancy. Three patients were cured with surgery. Conclusions Rudimentary uterine horn pregnancy is rare and with atypical clinical manifestation in the first trimester. Although diagnosis before surgery is difficult, ultrasonography and MRI make a great role. Surgery is the most important therapeutic method.
10.Biomarkers for gastric cancer stem cells
Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(1):45-47
Some specific markers are useful of separating and identifying gastric cancer stem cells. They are including gastric stem cells, general tumor stem cells and mesenchymal tissue stem cells. At present, more and more new biomarkers are discovered besides familiar CD133 and CD44.Combined detection helps to separate pure gastric cancer stem cells and promote the therapy of gastric cancer.
