1.A study on the mRNA expression of the glucose transporter gene in the diabetic rats
Chinese Journal of Diabetes 1993;0(00):-
The study was proceeded on the mRNA expression of the GULT1 and GLUT4 gene in the alloxan diabetic rats by the technique of dot-blot hybridization analysis. The results showed that the levels of the GLUT4 mRNA expression were reduced in diabetic rats while increased in insulin treated diabetic rats. This suggests that the reduced GLUT4 mRNA expression which could affect the quantity of its posttranslational products may be one of the causes of the insulin resistance.

3.The roles of Niacin in the treatment of diabetic retinopathy and its mechanism
Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 2016;32(2):154-158
Objective To investigate the protective effect of Niacin on blood-retina barrier (BRB) in diabetic rats and related mechanism. Methods The male Wistar rats (60) were divided into control (CON) group, diabetes (DM) group and Niacin-treated (NA) group,20 rats in each group.Rats diabetes models were induced with streptozotocin injection.Niacin (40 mg/kg · d) was administrated orally everyday in Niacin-treated group until sacrificed after 3 months.Pathological outcomes, total cholesterol (TC) and highdensity lipoprotein (HDL) were evaluated at month 3.Optical microscopy was used to observe the retinal structure. The integrity of BRB and the vascular permeability was quantified by analyzing albumin leakage using Evans blue (EB) method. The relative expressions of Claudin-5,Occludin,zonula occluden (ZO)-1 and GPR109A mRNA in rat retinas were detected by reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR) and relative expression of GPR109A,tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α and interleukin (IL)-6 by Western blot. Results Compared to CON group, the TC content was increased and HDL content was decreased in DM group (t=4.034,5.831;P<0.05).Compared to DM group, the TC content was decreased and HDL content was increased in NA group (t=6.868,3.369;P<0.05).The retinal structure of CON group was normal.Pathological changes were found in the DM group, such as tumescent nuclei and disorganized structures. The retinal structure of NA group was similar to the control group.Evans blue dye that the microvascular leakage in DM group was increased compared with CON group (t=24.712,P<0.05),while in NA group was decreased compared with DM group (t =16.414,P< 0.05).The mRNA expression of Occludin,Claudin-5,ZO-1 in DM group were decreased compared with CON group (t=11.422,12.638,12.060;P< 0.05),while in NA group were increased compared with DM group (t=5.278,3.952,8.030;P<0.05).The mRNA expression of GPR109A in NA group were increased compared with DM group (t=5.053,P< 0.05).The protein expression of GPR109A,IL-6,TNF-αin DM group were increased compared with CON group (t=4.915,11.106,6.582;P<0.05).Compared to DM group, the protein expression of GPR109A was increased (t=5.806,P<0.05),while the protein expression of IL-6 and TNF-α were decreased (t=10.131,5.017;P<0.05).Conclusion Niacin has the protective effect for BRB by up-regulating GPR109A expression which may suppress inflammation.
4.Roles of transient receptor potential canonical channels in tumors
Journal of International Oncology 2015;(7):522-524
Transient receptor potential(TRP)channels as an important non-selective cation channels family mainly permeate Ca2 + ,Na + and other cations. TRPC channel is a subtribe of TRP family which regu-lates the second messenger of Ca2 + concentration and variety of protease activity, and which can directly or in-directly affect the biological behavior of cells. Recently, more and more evidences have certificated the TRPC channels affect the tumorigenesis and development, such as regulation of proliferation,differentiation,migra-tion,apoptosis and resistance of chemotherapeutic agents during cancer progression.
5.Analysis of procalcitonin,C-reactive protein concentration and WBC count in patients infected by different bacteria
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(17):2301-2302
Objective To investigate the concentration of procalcitonin,C-reactive protein and WBC count for patients with dif-ferent kind of bacterial infection. Methods 49 blood samples and 81 other samples were collected form different patients for bacteri-al culture.Meanwhile,procalcitonin,C-reactive protein concentration and WBC count of those patients were determined to find whether these indicators exhibited any difference between Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria infected patients. Results For bloodstream infection,PCT levels in patients with Gram-nagetive bacterial infection were obviously higher than those with Gram-positive infection(P <0.05 ).For other infection, there was no statistical difference among patients′PCT,CRP concentration and WBC count(P >0.05).Conclusion PCT concentration is valuable in the differential diagnosis of blood stream infection caused by Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, but not in local infection infection.
6.Relationship between red cell distribution width and short-term outcomes in acute coronary syndrome patients
Chinese Journal of Geriatric Heart Brain and Vessel Diseases 2014;(8):815-818
Objective To study the relationship between red cell distribution width (RDW ) and short-term outcomes in acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients .Methods A totoal of 1654 ACS patients were divided into RDW ≤12 .1% group(n=419) ,RDW=12 .2% -12 .8% group(n=364) ,RDW=12 .9% -13 .2% group (n= 463) and RDW ≥13 .3% group (n= 408) .Their bio-chemical indicators and incidence of 1-month cardiac death ,heart failure ,recurrent myocardiac in-farction were compared .Relationship between RDW and 1-month adverse cardiac events was as-sessed .Results The incidence of cardiac death ,heart failure ,recurrent myocardiac infarction in-creased with the increasing RDW .Logistic regression analysis showed that RDW ,BNP>100 ng/L and LVEF< 40% were the independent risk factors for 1-month cardiac death in ACS patients (OR=2 .116 ,95% C I:1 .427-3 .137 ,P=0 .000;OR=3 .510 ,95% C I:1 .221 -10 .093 ,P=0 .020 ;OR= 4 .149 ,95% CI:2 .001 -8 .602 ,P= 0 .000 ) ,and that RDW ,age> 65 years ,diabetes and LVEF<40% were the independent risk factors for 1-month heart failure and recurrent myocardi-ac infarction in ACS patients (OR= 2 .134 ,95% CI:1 .602 -2 .844 ,P= 0 .000 ,OR= 2 .010 , 95% C I:1 .135 -3 .560 ,P=0 .017 ;OR=2 .279 ,95% C I:1 .345 -3 .862 ,P= 0 .002 ;OR=5 .009 , 95% CI:2.694-9 .316 ,P=0 .000) .Conclusion RDW is an independent risk factor for the short-term outcomes in ACS patients .

9.Progress in the migration of vascular endothelial cells and related factors
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2006;0(06):-
The migration of vascular endothelial cells plays an important role in the vascular growth, repair of wounds, and repair of vascular endothelial cells. At the same time, the migration of endothelial cells plays an important role in the progress of vascular diseases, especially atherosclerosis. Thus, the characteristics of endothelial cell migration and related factors are very important for us to understand the role of endothelial cells in the progress of physiology and pathology. In this article, the factors of promotion and inhibition, and blood flow, cytoskeleton and extracellular matrix are recommended in details. Furthermore, at the end of the article, we discuss the close relationship between endothelial cells and repair of vascular endothelial cells, even new vascular growth in the plaques of atherosclerosis.
