1.Common etiology and pathogenesis of plastic bronchitis in children
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2021;36(4):244-247
Plastic bronchitis(PB) is an uncommon respiratory disease characterized by formation of casts in tracheobronchial tree.It can lead to airway obstruction, difficulty of breathing and even respiratory failure.PB in children is commonly associated with lower airway infection, cyanotic congenital heart disease and asthma or atopic diseases. It can also be found in children with sickle cell anemia, thalassemia and cystic fibrosis and so no.There are three main mechanisms for the formation of casts: airway inflammation results in mucus hypersecretion; inflammatory insults lead to necrosis and abscission of the airway epithelium, mucosal edema, and finally cause airway clearance impairment; leakage of chyle from lung lymphatic circulation into airway. But the etiology of this disease is various, pathogenesis is complex.Further research is required to elucidate the pathogenesis.
2.Diagnosis and treatment of verrucous laryngeal cancer--a case report.
Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2013;27(19):1092-1094
A male patient of 71 years old was admitted due to repeated hoarseness for two years which got worse accompanied with dyspnea so that to receive tracheotomy in another hospital more than one month ago. The two vocal cord biopsies carried out in the other hospital before showed vocal keratosis and squamous cell hyperplasia. Electronic laryngoscopy result showed normal epiglottis. a lot of saliva at hypopharynx, and rough arytenoid mucosa. The supraglottic area was remarkably swollen and the glottal area can not be observed clearly. The biopsy of throat was unable to conduct. Barium swallow examination revealed no obvious space-occupying lesion in piri form fossa or esophagus. Larynx CT scan showed a space-occupying lesion in the laryngeal cavity on the right side of the neck involving the thyroid cartilage. The patient was finally treated by total laryngectomy. cervical infected tissue resection. grafting transposition with pectoralis major flap and tracheostomy. The postoperative pathology showed laryngeal verrucous carcinoma.

Journal of International Oncology 2009;36(11):806-809
Stem cells are characterized by the ability to renew themselves and differentiate into a di-verse range of specialized cell types.Bmi1 gene has been determined to play critical roles in the self-renewal of stem cells. Many of the tumor originated in stem cells.Enhanced self-renewal capability in stem/progenitor cells changes its biological characteristic and drives tumor initiation
4.Inflammatory Pathogenesis in Pancreatic Cancer Development and Its Therapy Strategy
Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2003;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the relationship between the development of pancreatic cancer and inflammation, and the therapy strategy. Methods Related articles were reviewed. Results The pathogenesis of inflammation in pancreatic cancer development involves cytokines, NF ?B, COX 2, PPAR ?, DNA damage, gene changes, etc. Based on these mechanisms some medications are under developing. Conclusion Accumulative effects of pancreatic inflammation may lead to DNA changes, and even pancreatic cancer development. Medications aimed at suppressing pancreatic inflammation may help with prevention and treatment of pancreatic cancer.
5.Clinical analysis of myocardial infarction in young adults with and without diabetes
Chinese Journal of Diabetes 2017;25(6):493-496
Objective To compare the clinical features of myocardial infarction (MI) in young adults with and without diabetes. Methods A total of 94 young adults with MI were enrolled in this study and divided into two groups according to whether they had diabetes:diabetic group (DM) and Non diabetic group (NDM).The clinical features, angiographic results, risk factors and prognosis were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of atypical chest pain (25.0% vs 7.6%),non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (50.0% vs 9.1%),ventricular wall motion abnormalities (78.6% vs 42.4%),double vessels (35.7% vs 21.2%),triple vessels (39.3% vs 3.1%) and the incidence of mortality(10.7% vs 1.5%)were all significantly higher in DM group than in NDM group (P<0.05 or P<0.01).The number of affected vessels and Gensini scores were (2.110±0.875) and (52.61±10.47) in DM group,and(1.140±0.677),(34.02±10.24) in NDM group. The between group difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Multiple linear regression showed that HbA1c and smoking were the independent risk factors for Gensini score. Conclusion The clinical features of young adult patients with MI and diabetes are more complex, their coronary stenosis are more serious, and the prognosis is poor.Smoking and HbA1c are positively associated with Gensini scores.

8.Effect of beclin1 on vincristine-induced dopaminergic neurons injury in zebrafish.
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2014;49(6):843-8
To investigate vincristine-induced dopaminergic neurons toxicity and mechanism, and explore the molecular target to reduce the toxicity, zebrafish was chosen as a model animal, based on RT-PCR, Western blotting, whole mount in situ immunofluorescence and other technical means. The results showed that the transcription levels of tyrosine hydroxylase gene and dopamine transporter protein gene were inhibited. Furthermore, the number of dopaminergic neurons was decreased by vincristine. Autophagy was suppressed and beclin1 gene expression was inhibited in a dose-dependent manner by vincristine in larval zebrafish. Up-regulated beclin1 partly reduced vincristine-induced neurotoxicity, and down-regulated beclin1 increased toxicity. Beclin1 plays an important role in vincristine-induced dopaminergic neurons toxicity.
9.Comparative study on laparoscopy assisted radio frequency ablation and percutaneous radio frequency ablation for hepatocellular carcinoma
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2012;27(7):564-567
Objective To evaluate laparoscopy assisted radio frequency ablation (LRFA) and percutaneous radiofrequency ablation ( PRFA ) for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma ( HCC ).Methods A total of 525 HCC patients were enrolled, including LRFA group of 78 cases with 106 tumor nodules, and PRFA group of 447 cases with 565 tumor nodules. Results ( 1 ) In LRFA group complete ablation rate was 97.17% (103/106); in LRFA group complete ablation rate was 93.09% (526/565)(x2 =2.523,P =0.112).(2)The 1,3,5 year overall survival rate was 96.15%,55.12% and 38.46%in LRFA group and 93.73%,48.54% and 31.54% in PRFA group respectively ( x2 =0.699,1.151,1.447 ; P =0.403,0.283,0.229 ).The 1,3,5 year disease-free survival rate was 94.87%,43.58% and 28.21% in LRFA group and 93.73%,48.54% and 31.54% in PRFA group respectively (x2 =0.915,0.303,0.174; P=0.339,0.582,0.676).The average disease-free survival time was 22.25 months in LRFA group and 21.53 months in PRFA group respectively.(3)The serious complications was 0% (0/78)in LRFA group and 1.34% ( 6/447 ) in PRFA group respectively.( 4 ) Recurrence rate was 23.07%(18/78) in LRFA group, and 34.89% (156/447) in PRFA group ( x2 =4.189,P =0.041 ).Conclusions The therapeutical effect of LRFA equals that of PRFA,while enjoying lower recurrence rate,no serious complications and higher treatment safety.
