1.Radiographic evaluation of cone-beam computed tomography for oral implants: maxillary sinus.
West China Journal of Stomatology 2015;33(4):331-335
Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) has an important function in understanding implant operations. CBCT can be used to evaluate the basic condition of implant site before implant operation and decide whether it is suitable for implanting. CBCT also ensures whether the direction of implant and the operation method are satisfactory. CBCT can be used pre- or post-operation as long as the case involves the maxillary sinus. Clinical implant cases using CBCT were introduced to evaluate the maxillary sinus pre- or post-operation.

2.Progress in low anterior resection syndrome of rectal cancer
International Journal of Surgery 2021;48(5):346-350
With the development of surgical instruments and improved surgical techniques, more and more patients with low rectal cancer can get the effect of the radical cure while preserving the anus. Still, nearly 60%-90% of patients will undergo low anterior resection after surgery Syndrome (down anterior resection syndrome, LARS) LARS can seriously affect patients′ quality of life after surgery. This article will explain the concept, symptoms, possible pathogenesis, prevention, and treatment measures of LARS and provide help for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of LARS.
3.Epidemiologic characteristics of natural foci of plague in Qinghai province from 1999 to 2009
Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2010;29(6):663-665
Objective To analyze the epidemic characteristics of natural foci of plague in Qinghai province in the past twenty years and to provide references for prevention and control of the disease. Methods Excel software was used to analyze the database of human plague cases and the surveillance and survey data of natural foci of plague in Qinghai province from 1999 to 2009. Results Animal plague occurred in Qaidam Basin, Qinghai Plateau and central and southern Plateau year after year, which became key areas of animal plague in Qinghai province. There were many human plague cases every year except 1999, 2000, 2002, 2007, 2008 from 1990 to 2009. Cumulative incidence of human plague was 27 cases, with incidence of 73 cases, 29 cases of death, and death rate 39.73%. Epidemic areas mainly distributed in the 4 states of Yushu, Hainan, Hercynian, Haibei.Prevalent season was from May to October. The most prevalent was pneumonic type among clinical types [60.27%(44/73)]. Conclusions Animal plague has occurred actively in key areas of Qinghai province in recent years, and an outbreak of human plague in some areas is found. Monitoring and early warning should be strengthened in the key areas, and comprehensive prevention and control measures should be implemented to reduce the incidence and prevalence of the plague.
4.Detetmination of Syringin, Ferulic Acid and Salvianolic Acid B in Huoluo Xiaotong Tablets by HPLC
China Pharmacist 2015;(2):315-316,357
Objective:To establish a determination method for syringin, ferulic acid and salvianolic acid B in Huoluo Xiaotong tabletsbyHPLC.Methods:ThecolumnwasKromasilC18(150mm×4.6mm,5 μm),themobilephasewasmethanol-0.2% phos-phoric acid solution with gradient elution at the flow rate of 1. 0 ml·min-1 , the detection wavelengths were 265nm for Sgnigin, 321nm for Ferulic acid and 286nm for Salvianolic acid B. The column temperature was 25℃. Results: Syringin, ferulic acid and salvianolic acid B showed good linear relationship within the range of 64. 500-1. 032 × 103 , 7. 525-120. 400, 65. 250-1. 044 × 103 μg·ml-1 with the average recovery of 100. 75%, 99. 56% and 99. 75%, respectively. Conclusion:The method is simple, accurate and rapid.
6.Therapeutic effect of thalidomide plus irinotecan and cisplatin for recurrent small cell lung cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2013;(4):306-308
Objective To investigate the efficacy and toxicity of thalidomide plus irinotecan and cisplatin treatment for recurrent small cell lung cancer. Methods 62 Patients with recurrent small cell lung cancer in the same period were randomly divided into observation group and control group according to the principle of minimum distribution imbalance index. The observation group patients were treated with thalidomide plus irinotecan and cisplatin chemotherapy, and the control group patients were treated with irinotecan and cisplatin chemotherapy. The efficacy and toxicity of the two groups were compared. Results The overall response rate in the group observation was 86.7% compared with 63.3% in the control group, and the difference had statistical significance (x2 =8.52,P < 0.05).The major toxicities were hematologic toxicity and gastrointestinal symptoms, and the side effects differences were not statistically significant (x2 =0.18,P > 0.05).Conclusion The treatment of recurrent small cell lung cancer with irinotecan and cisplatin in combination with thalidomide has high efficiency, and the toxicity can be tolerated.
7.Characteristics of apolipoprotein M and its relation to cardiovascular disease
Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2013;(6):502-505
Apolipoprotein M (apoM) is a novel apolipoprotein discovered in 1999 and belongs tothe lipocalin protein superfamily. The APOM gene is mainly expressed in the liver and kidney,Where it is highly regulated by transcription factors, cytokines, hormones etc.Series of studies have shown that apoM plays an important role in lipoprotein metabolism especially in high-density lipoprotein (HDL).Since the relationship between HDL and atherosclerosis (AS) has been well known, apoM is supposed to be of potential fuctional importance in AS.Here we review the progress made in understanding the characteristics of apoM and its relationship to cardiovascular disease.
8.Current situation and influencing factors of uncertainty in illness of family members of patients with malignant tumor
Cancer Research and Clinic 2013;(3):184-186
Objective To investigate uncertainty in illness of family members of patients with malignant tumor,to explore the factors that affect uncertainty in illness of family members of patients with malignant tumor, and to provide clinical basis for clinical doctors and nurses implementing effective interventions for their patients. Methods Questionnaires were conduted to investigate uncertainty in illness of family members of patients with malignant tumor and explore the related factors. The measurements included three parts,Chinese version of Mishel uncertainty in illness scale for family member,self-designed questionnaire about family general condition, patients disease information. Results The total score of uncertainty in illness was 82.71±9.93,more than 50 % (75 score) of the highest PPUS-FM score. There were statistical significances of uncertainty in illness in education (F =8.06,P < 0.05),family income (F=3.14,P < 0.05),residence place (F =3.99,P < 0.05) and frequency of hospitalization (F =4.85,P < 0.05).Conclusion Family members of patients with malignant tumor have a higher level of uncertainty in illness.Education, family income, residence place and frequency of hospitalization have a certain effect on uncertainty in illness of family members of patients with malignant tumor.
