Objective To observe the effect of Spleen-kidney Bi-remedial Pellets on the ulcerative colitis model, and provide experimental proof for the efficiency of clinical practices. Methods To induce mouse to diarrhea by Fanxieye, then observe the effect of Spleen-kidney Bi-remedial Pellets. Ulcerative colitis on mouse was caused by partial bowel-enema of TNBS and 50% ethanol, then observe the effect of Spleen-kidney Bi-remedial Pellets on IgG and IgM. Fourteen critical patients were treated by total parenteral nutrition(TPN) or en- teral nutrition(EN) and good results were achieved.Among the1 4patients,1 0 cases were suffered from MSOF.The results suggest thatnutritional support is very im- portant for the critical patients,especially for their rehabilitation and prognosis.The use of TPN is not limited by the gastroin- testinal function.TPN should be sellected preferably when a patient is critical and se- rious.EN should be used when gastroin- testinal function have recovered in order to reduce the translocation of bacteria and en- dotoxin in the gut and decrease gastroin- testinal bleeding.

Objective:Ghrelin is a brain-gut peptide with GH-releasing,apetide-inducing and anti-inflammation activities and with widespread tissue distribution.Ghrelin is the endogenous ligand of GH secretagogue receptor (GHSR),and both ghrelin and the GHSR are expressed in T cells.We therefore examined the effect of Ghrelin on human T cell and its signal transduction.Methods:Ghrelin-activating mTOR pathway in human primary T cell was studied using immunoblotting and inhibitors of the PI3K(LY294002,3-Methyladenine) or mTOR(rapamycin) and antagonist of GHSR1a(Des-Lys-3-GHRP6).Results:The results showed that GHSR1a was expressed on T cells.Ghrelin caused a significant increase in the phosphorylated mTOR,P70S6K,S6K,4E-BP-1,eIF4G,eIF4E by immunoblotting.While the phosphorylated mTOR,P70S6K were abolished by the mTOR inhibitor rapamycin and PI3K inhibitor LY294002,3-methyladenine and also antagonist of GHSR1a,Des-Lys-3-GHRP6.Conclusion:The data document that Ghrelin activates translation of T cells through mTOR pathway.

Objective To observe the clinical effect of repair of anchors with wire combined with open reduction and internal fixation in the treatment of ankle fractures complicated with triangle ligament injury.Methods Seventy patients with ankle fractures complicated with triangle ligament injury in our hospital were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into study group and control group according to the random digital table method,35 cases in each group.The control group was treated with open reduction and internal fixation,while the study group was treated with repair of anchors with wire based on the control group.The clinical treatment effect,scores of VAS at different moments and complications were observed and compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate in the study group was 91.42%,which was higher than 74.29% in the control group(x2=3.846,P<0.05).The scores of VAS in the control group at 1,3,6 and 12 months after operation were (7.21±1.04)points,(6.85±0.72) points,(3.32±0.31) points,(2.01±0.12) points,respectively,which of the study group were (6.34±1.23) points,(5.42±0.84) points,(3.28±0.24) points,(1.87±0.42) points,which of the study group at 1 and 3 months after operation were lower than those of the control group(t=3.195,7.647,all P<0.05),while the differences in the scores of VAS at 6 and 12 months after operation between the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The incidence rate of complications in the study group was 8.57%,which was lower than 14.29% in the control group(x2=1.146,P>0.05).Conclusion The repair of anchors with wire combined with open reduction and internal fixation in the treatment of ankle fractures complicated with triangle ligament injury can effectively improve the clinical treatment effect.

Guided by TCM treatment on the basis of syndrome differentiation, the author has treated 33 cases of hysteromyoma, which are divided into stagnation of liver-qi and blood stasis (SLQBS) type, and qi-deficiency and blood stasis (QDBS) type, by acupuncture-moxibus -tion and Tuina. After 3 therapeutic courses, the total ef -fective rate is 81.8%. The therapeutic effect has no close relationship with the TCM syndrome differentiation.

Objective:To investgate the ease effects of local injection of ursolic acid both on orthodontic tooth movement distance and tooth root resorption in the rats, and to clarify its mechanism.Methods:Ninety-six male Wistar rats were used to establish models of orthodontic tooth movement.After the successful establishment of models,all the model rats were randomly divided into 0 (control group),0.5,1.0 and 2.0 mmol·L-1 ursolic acid groups (n=24).The rats were locally injected with different doses of ursolic acid into the palatal submucosal area adjacent to the right upper first molar ,once per 3 d,each time 50μL.The rats were respectively sacrificed on the days 1,3,5,7,10,14,21 and 28,then the distances of tooth movement were measured.HE staining was used to observe the morphologic changes of the root tissue of rats.Results:The tooth movement distances of rats in control,0.5,1.0,and 2.0 mmol· L-1 ursolic acid groups were increased with the prolongation of time (P<0.01).Compared with control group,the tooth movement distances of rats in 0.5 mmol·L-1 ursolic acid group 3,7,14,21 and 28 d after forcing had statistical significance (P<0.05 or P<0.01 );the tooth movement distances of rats in 1.0 and 2.0 mmol· L-1 ursolic acid groups 1 d after treatment had no statistical significance (P>0.05),but at the other time points,the tooth movement distances of rats had statistical significance (P<0.01).The tooth movement distances of rats had statistical significance between 0.5,1.0 and 2.0 mmol·L-1 ursolic acid groups 5,7,10,14,21 and 28 d after forcing (P<0.05 or P<0.01).The morphological results showed that the resorption pits were found on the surface of tooth root with the prolongation of loading time;in addition,with the increasing of the doses of ursolic acid, the absorption of root surface was relieved. Conclusion:Local injection of ursolic acid at the doses of 0.5,1.0 and 2.0 mmol·L-1 can reduce the distance of orthodontic tooth movement in the rats, and the distance of tooth movement in the rats is reduced with the increasing of its doses,and ursolic acid has the ease effect on the orthodoutic tooth root resorption.

Objective:To explore the value of the elasticity contrast index (ECI) in differential diagnosis of thyroid nodules, and contrast the effect of 4 different methods on measuring ECI.Methods:A total of 122 patients with 131 thyroid nodules in Binzhou Medical University Hospital from May 2018 to May 2019 were enrolled, and elastography was performed in 4 different ways such as in axial plane for internal (AI), axial plane for periintranodular (AP), longitudinal plane for internal (LI) and longitudinal plane for periintranodular (LP). The cut-off values for predicting malignant nodules in 4 different ways were determined separately using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis.Results:There were 54 benign and 77 malignant ones in 131 nodules. The ECI in AI, AP, LI and LP in benign thyroid nodules was significantly lower than that in malignant ones: 2.10 (1.48, 2.34) vs. 3.07 (2.73, 3.87), 1.91 (1.64, 2.18) vs. 2.62 (2.24, 3.07), 2.19 (1.59, 2.39) vs. 3.00 (2.72, 3.63) and 1.89 (1.71, 2.16) vs. 2.66 (2.21, 3.10), and there was statistical difference ( P<0.05). Among the 4 different ways, the largest area under curve was achieved in AI with 0.925, and the corresponding optimal diagnostic threshold was 2.43 (with 90.9% sensitivity, 87.0% specificity, 88.5% accuracy, 89.7% positive predictive value and 86.8% negative predictive value). Conclusions:ECI is helpful for conventional ultrasound to diagnose thyroid nodules as malignant or benign. The best value is obtained in AI.

There are several disadvantages on the packaging of Chinese herbal medicine, such as unified packaging specification, misused packaging material and uncompleted or no packaging label information. These problems usually result in low quality of medicine, and will bring negative effects on the industry in the long term. Moreover, packaging design is usually too ordinary, without any regional features. Improving the packaging quality and changing the packaging style do not only make Chinese herbal medicine become “safe medicine” or “environmental-friendly medicine”, but also an important measure to raise the competitive power of Chinese herbal medicine in markets at home and abroad.

Objective To describe the status of sleeping time among Chinese population.Method The data of 2002 China National Nutrition and Health Survey was used for the analysis.197 954 subjects aged 6 years and above were involved.Results The average daily sleeping time of the domestic Chinese was 8.3 hrs.In groups of 6～12 yrs,13～17 yrs,18～44 yrs,45～59 yrs,60 yrs and above,the daily sleeping time were 9.1 hrs,8.5 hrs,8.2 hrs,7.9 hrs and 7.8 hrs,and the rate of insufficient sleeping was 69.0%,58.5%,4.1%,9.2% and 17.1%,respectively.The rate of excessive sleeping in groups of 18～44 yrs,45～59 yrs and 60 yrs and above were 27.1%,20.2%,24.3%,respectively.Conclusion The status of insufficient and excessive sleeping existed in Chinese at the same time,and further research should be developed on the association between sleeping time and health.
