1.Applications of proteomics in the research of tumors
Journal of International Oncology 2013;(5):335-338
Proteomics is an emerging discipline which studies the composition of proteins and their transformation rules at the cellular level and the overall level.Recently, proteomics has been used in a variety of studies of tumors. And it has made some progresses in explaining the mechanisms of tumors' genesis and development, discovering new specific markers for tumors and new targets for drug treatment, and forecasting tumors' biological behaviors.
6.Progress in cellular mechanisms of rhinovirus infection and asthma acute exacerbation
International Journal of Pediatrics 2011;38(4):367-369
Bronchial asthma is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the airways caused by many cells and cellular elements. The mechanisms of asthma are complex. The relationship between virus infection and asthma acute exacerbation has attracted scholars' attention, especially rhinovirus. The mechanisms of asthma acute exacerbation caused by rhinovirus infection involve many cells, cytokines and chemokines. Among them, eosinophils, T lymphocytes, dendritic cells, macrophages and neutrophils play important roles. These mechanisms are important for effective prevention and treatment of asthma.
7.Phage display technology and tumor targeted therapy
Cancer Research and Clinic 2017;29(3):214-216
Phage display technology is a kind of laboratory technique by means of genetic engineering to combine phage with exogenous genes, based on the presentation of a heterogeneous peptide or protein libraries on the surface of phage along with phage coat protein expressions. The displayed proteins or peptides could maintain their own relative spatial structure and biological activity, allowing them to direct phage binding to a target of interest. Therefore, the technology can be widely used as a simple and effective screening tool to screen successfully tumor-targeted peptides, deliver tumor-targeted drugs and prepare tumor antibody, which plays an important role in tumor-targeted therapy.
8.Clinical efficacy of four kinds drug oral medicine for 10 days sequential therapy for eradication of helicobacter pylori infection of children
Clinical Medicine of China 2014;30(11):1220-1222
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of four kinds of drug oral medicine for 10 days sequential therapy for eradication of helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection of children. Methods One hundred and thirty children with Hp infection in the First Hospital of Datong from Apr.2013 to Apr.2014 were randomly divided into two groups with 65 cases in each group.Patients in the observation group were treated with four kinds of oral drug 10 d sequential therapy with omeprazole and amoxicillin-clavulanate potassium at first 5 d and then omeprazole, clarithromycin and metronidazole for the late 5 d.Patients in the control group were received standard triple therapy with omeprazole, clarithromycin and amoxicillin clavulanate potassium for 10 d.After treatment for 1 month, the Hp eradication rate, treatment rate, adverse reaction were evaluated and compared by 14C urea breathe test.Result The clinical efficacy rate of observation group was 93.8 % (61/65),significantly higher than that in control group (75.4%,49/65).Meanwhile,Hp eradication rate in observation group was 90.8% (59/65),significantly higher than that in control group (67.7%,44/65).The differences were significant(x2 =8.51,10.52; P < 0.05).The incidence of adverse reaction of observation group was 10.8% (7/65),lower than that of the control group 15.4% (10/65),and the differences was significant(x2 =0.61,P > 0.05).Conclusion There are high Hp eradication and relatively safe of four kinds of oral drug 10 d sequential therapy clinical in treatment of Hp infection of children. It is worthy of clinical promotion.
9.Association between exhaled nitric oxide and other noninvasive methods in assessing asthma in children
International Journal of Pediatrics 2015;42(3):246-249
Measurement of Fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) is a noninvasive, simple, and reproducible procedure to assist in assessment of disease severity and evaluation of response to treatment in asthma children. This review discusses the value of FeNO in children with asthma, and the association between FeNO and other noninvasive methods.
10.Olfactory ensheathing cell transplantation repairs spinal cord injury
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(31):5693-5698
BACKGROUND:Spinal cord injury can cause the motor, sensory and autonomic dysfunction below the damaged surface, so the repair of spinal cord injury has been the problem of neuroscience research. OBJECTIVE:To analyze the mechanism, experimental research and clinical application of olfactory ensheathing cel transplantation for the repair of spinal cord injury, and to investigate the effect of olfactory ensheathing cel transplantation on neurological function recovery. METHODS:The basic experimental and clinical researches on olfactory ensheathing cel transplantation for the repair of spinal cord injury were retrospectively analyzed, in order to analyze the relationship between the number and time of the survival cells and the structure and function of the damages spinal cord after olfactory ensheathing cel transplantation. The inclusion and exclusion criteria of the included clinical researches, and the sources, types and transplantation method of the cells used for transplantation were clearly defined, then the effective and objective evaluation criteria was established. RESUTLS AND CONCLUSION:The animal experiments of olfactory ensheathing cel transplantation for the repair of spinal cord injury have achieved satisfactory effects. The spinal cord function score and the sensory and motor function were significantly improved compared with those before transplantation (P<0.001). The successful animal experiment could provide basis for the clinical experiment and application. Parts of the clinical experiments were fol owed-up for 5 years. Because of a smal amount of the cases in the clinical research and the short fol ow-up period, the final recovery of large number of cases cannot judged yet, further observation and research were required. The great significance of the research result is to help to find a reasonable strategy that can make the olfactory ensheathing cells displayed repairing effect sufficiently.
