1.Th1/Th2 Cell and Tumor Recurrence
Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2003;0(04):-
Objective To review the relationship between T helper cell 1/T helper cell 2 (Th1/Th2) shift and tumor recurrence. Methods Literatures on Th1/Th2 shift and tumor recurrence were collected and reviewed. Results Th1/Th2 shift can be detected in the host after therapy of the tumor. Tumor cells escape from host immune surveillance by altering Th1/Th2, which could lead to tumor recurrence. Conclusion Th1/Th2 shift is related to tumor recurrence after therapy. Impelling the reverse of Th2 to Th1 and renewing the balance of T helper cells come out to be a new way for tumor therapy.
2.Study on Halitosis Medication Rules by Traditional Chinese Medicine Based on Data Mining
World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(3):657-660
This study was aimed to explore the characteristics of flavor and nature as well as the meridian entry of Chinese medicinals in the halitosis treatment by traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Test data mining was used as the basis in the study of TCM literature on halitosis treatment. Herbs from the collected TCM halitosis treatment lit-erature, which met the inclusion criteria, were classified according to their effectiveness. And analysis was made on the nature, flavor and meridian entry of these herbs. Excellwas used in the descriptive analysis in the summariza-tion of halitosis medication rules. The results showed that the frequencies were 796 times which involved 149 herbs. The main nature of halitosis medication was cold, which was followed by warm and even. The total frequency was 97.49%. Sweet was the most frequently used flavor, which was followed by bitter and acrid. These three flavors ac-counted for 90.71%. The meridian entry of medicinal was mainly the stomach meridian, which was followed by the lung, spleen, heart and liver meridian. According to the effectiveness of classification, the main effect was an-tipyretic, which was followed by tonification and dampness-removing. It was concluded that through text data min-ing, the nature of TCM halitosis treatment medication was cold with the treatment principle of heat-clearing and dampness-removing as well as spleen-strengthening and stomach harmonization. These rules provided reliable refer-ence for clinical differentiation and medication.
3.A Systematic Review of Randomized Controlled Trials for Clinical Efficacy and OS on Xi-Pa-Yi Mouth Rinse for Simple Gingivitis
World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(8):1850-1854
This study was aimed to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Xi-Pa-Y i (XPY) Mouth Rinse in the treatment of simple gingivitis and improved value for halitosis. Related literatures were systematically searched in the China Na-tional Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI, 1979-2012), Weipu Database for Chinese Technical Periodicals (1989-2013), PubMed and Cochrane Library. The methodological quality of included trials was assessed based on the Jadad scale. And the available data were analyzed with RevMan software (version 5.2.0). The results showed that a total of 4 stud-ies involving 360 participants satisfied the minimum criteria for meta-analysis. The evidences showed that the XPY Mouth Rinse was compared with saline or western medicine for treatment of the OS of simple gingivitis WMD (95%confidence interval) were -0.48 (-0.81, -0.16), 0.04 (-0.15, 0.22), respectively; the XPY Mouth Rinse was com-pared with saline or western medicine for treatment of simple gingivitis clinical efficacy's RR (95% confidence inter-val) were 1.67 (1.29, 2.15), 1.22 (0.35, 4.20), respectively. It was concluded that the current clinical evidence showed that the effectiveness of XPY Mouth Rinse in the treatment of simple gingivitis was higher than the saline. It had similar effects with western medicine, which can reduce the OS, and with no significant side effects and easy to take. However, due to the low quality studies and small sample amount, it is still need to be confirmed by the high-quality, multi-center, large sample, randomized, double-blind clinical controlled trials.
4.Chinese Herbs for Treatment of Myasthenia Gravis:A Meta-analysis of Randomized Control Trials
World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(7):1492-1503
This study was aimed to assess the clinical efficacy of Chinese herbs for myasthenia gravis. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on Chinese medicine treatment of myasthenia gravis were systemically searched from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Weipu Database, PubMed and Cochrane Library. The information was recorded and the methodological quality of the included trials was assessed by two reviewers independently. The RevMan 5.2 software was used in the meta-analysis. The results showed that 58 RCTs involving 4 773 patients were included. The quality of included Chinese literatures was generally not high. There were four high-quality literatures; and the rest were low-quality literature. The results of meta-analysis showed that compared with the effective rate of the western medicaltreatment group, there was no statistical difference between the Chinese medicine compound and the western medical treatment [RR = 1.15, 95%CI (0.94, 1.41)]. There was statistical difference between the western medical treatment plus the Chinese medicine compound group and the western medical treatment [RR = 1.10, 95%CI (1.03, 1.18)]. There was statistical difference between the western medical treatment plus the Chinese patent medicine group and the western medical treatment [RR = 1.17, 95%CI (1.08, 1.28)]. Compared with the western medical treatment group, the incidence of adverse reaction in the Chinese medicine compound plus the western medical treatment group was decreased obviously (P < 0.05). It was concluded that the current limited evidence showed that only using Chinese medicine had the similar clinical efficacy in the treatment of myasthenia gravis as western medicine. However, Chinese herbs combined with western medicine in the treatment of myasthenia gravis had better effects compared to western medicine. It can also reduce the side effects of western medicine. Especially astragalus was the most widely used herb in the Chinese medicine group. However, large-sample and high-quality clinical trials were required for further evidence.
5.Anesthetic management of patients undergoing off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2008;31(21):31-33
Objective To summarize anesthetic management for 56 patients undergoing off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (OPCABG). Methods Recorded and analyzed the hemodynamie changes of 56 patients undergoing OPCABG including heart rate (HR),rate-pressure product (RPP), mean arterial pressure(MAP), mean pulmonary artery pressure(MPAP), central venous pressure (CVP), cardiac output (CO) and mixed venous oxygen saturation when left anterior descending (LAD), right coronary artery (RCA), diagonal (DiAG) and left circumflex coronary artery (LCX) was anastmosed. Results The patients undergoing OPCABG had hemodynamic fluctuation during vascular anastomosis, mainly showing MAP and CO decreased, CVP increased. The change was especially significant when the LCX or RCX was anastmosed. The based value, when LAD and RCA anastmosed of MAP were (82.0±11.7) mm Hg(1 mm Hg = 0.133 kPa), (60.1±11.5) mm Hg and (58.4±12.1) mm Hg, CO were (4.2±1.2) L/min, (3.1±0.7) L/min and (3.2±0.6) L/min, CVP were (5.6±2.6) cm H2O (1 cm H2O=0.098 kPa), (9.6±4.4) cm H2O and (9.2±3.6) cm H2O. Conclusion The hemodynamie changes during OPCABG,especially in LCX and RCA anastmesed are transient and well tolerated under suitable anesthetic management.

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2000;0(07):-
AIM: To investigate the relation between cytosolic calcium and glomerular injury in hypertension. METHODS: The normotensive control (WKY) and spontaneously hypertensive rat group(SHR) with or without treatment (losartan 20 mg?kg -1 ?d -1 ) were compared. Intralymphocytic free calcium level and ultrastructural changes in glomerulus were observed at three and eight months, respectively. RESULTS: The results demonstrated early impairment in glomerulus and elevation of cytosolic calcium at three months in SHR group, at eight months, aggravation of impairment in glomerulus correlating with calcium elevation was shown. Losartan significantly attenuated the above pathologic changes. CONCLUSION: Calcium-overload state was not only related to blood pressure and vessel impairment, but also associated with glomerular injury, which could be reversed by losartan.
